Just like show and tell in class , I can't wait to share with you this amazing place: One place of delicious chicken with so reasonable price . 4 pieces of chicken combo cost $11 . I get coleslaw, potato salad with drink. Amazingly , this is the most flavourful chicken I ever had . Juicy in side and crispy outside . The flavour is in both skins as well as the savouring juicy meat . The side dishes taste like named restaurant dishes . The restaurant are cooking this wonderful chicken and side dishes with love , patience . Park is limited and don't park in Starbuck parking lot . Can you smell the chicken yet? A year later , every time, I am in town , El Pollo Unico is my first choice for food. On this particular day, I was early and waited outside for food. The owner opened the door early before the scheduled open time . How sweet is that ?

The food was great. Best pollo in Pasadena for the buck. They had kiosks so no need to wait in line.

Some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had. I love coming here, I’m here almost weekly. I would come a few times a week if I could! Definitely try it if you enjoy chicken. Very good food and great staff! Affordable and delicioso combos!

When I arrive in California, my brother and I go to one of our favorite eating spots El Pollo Unico. I believe they opened in 1985… they’re still standing and so am I, lol. Originally located next to 7 Eleven on Orange Grove Blvd and Lake Ave. Although we haven't been to the restaurant in over 15 years. The food still tastes fabulous. The best part about our blast into the past, the owner and some staff still remembered us (from over 30+ years of eating their food, lol… almost brings a tear in my eye, wait that was the LA smog).

As of writing, they have limited seating because of covid. The restaurant is somewhat small, most folks order their food to go. You can order food on their website ElPolloUnicoToGo.com, if you hate waiting in line.

Pollo Unico is hands down my favorite Chicken spot in all of LA! The chicken is amazing every time and we come here a lot! It’s always juicy and has the best flavor. I don’t know what they season it with but it’s too good. Their hot salsa is incredible too, very flavorful! If you’re in the mood for good chicken, Pollo Unico is your spot!

Chicken is delicious, and the sides are very good portion. The parking, however, is a nightmare.

Also, the place needs renovating. The inside seating area area looks run down and old.

However their food is very good and for that reason this place is a must visit.

I used to frequent this restaurant when they were across the street. I haven't been there in several years and I just went over the weekend and it was just as good as I remember. The potato salad is super delicious, no other chicken restaurant can beat the prices, eight piece combo with two very large sides and tortillas less than $25.

Juicy, flavorful chicken at a great price. Great place to grab a healthy dinner plate for under $10 (including tip). The coleslaw and corn is delicious as well as the corn tortillas. Recommend using the kiosk at peak rush times, I was in and out!

Great food and service. I have been coming here for over 20 years. What a grand time to take home chicken, but this chicken is grilled to perfection. It really has a great taste to it. And you may as well get some great tasting side dishes as well,

IT IS SO AMAZING! I've been eating the pollito from this place since i was so small! I'd eat it at a park with my family every sunday, we still eat from there till this day, and I will always wait until I die. Thr side dishes are really good too, and go along well with the chicken, the tortillas are not the best best, but good enough to bring everything up, the chicken, rice, beans, etc together all in one, to get a bite of it all! Soo tasty.

I'm so so picky, and this place is yet another great, good old fashion home made chicken place. The pinto beans are great, like momma made them, rice great too,and sides as well. Come try the potatoe salad, add beans, throw in the hot salsa, (or mild), and grab a wing; boy...come check it out. GET YOUR DOSE OF PROTEIN AND LICK YOUR FINGERS!

Great tasting food at a reasonable cost!

This delicious food is worth the $ & distance. Always fresh,hot & so good. The chicken is tender & juicy the beans & rice are seasoned to perfection. The salsa melts in your mouth the flour tortillas are hot & fresh and the customer service is great! They always make sure your food is served hot & correct to the order. I highly recommend El pollo Unico!!!👍👍👍👍👍 This Chicken is Delicious!!!

Never really eaten inside, but I swear this chicken is better than El Pollo Loco. More flavor and always nice to support a local small business.

I've been coming to this chicken place since I was about 8yrs old & finally took my little girls & its still as good as I remember! They have great specials & they still have Orange whip!!! Parking is still a nightmare but like I heard one customer say as she pulled out "so worth it!" & I agree with her 😸

Omg....yall this food is good! If you don't feel like cooking please go get some dinner here. Their new family meal is worth it! 2 large sides, your choice of tortillas, family size side salad, churros, and the juiciest chicken you'll ever eat! I'm from Texas and I like me some juicy chicken and brisket and this was so close!

This is the only place I'll get flame grilled chicken from. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and the even the white meat is tender and juicy! Love all the sides as well.

Food is really good. Only down fall is they stop cooking chicken before close time. Make sure you call ahead.
