I recently purchased an engagement ring and two wedding bands from Valalan's Jewelers and I could not be happier with the kindness, service, expertise, and the price I paid for the rings. Alice worked with me for hours to find the perfect stone and custom designed the engagement ring via modern CAD programming. She has a degree in gemology and has the highest certification as a GIA gemologist, whereas my knowledge doesn't go beyond common customer experience and internet research. Her knowledge and connections are vast. After all her time and efforts to explain everything, find the find the right stone, and custom design the ring, I was worried that I would end up paying a premium for the incredible service. To my surprise the price and quality was far better than anything I could have gotten at a chain jewelry store, I was truly humbled. I recommend all my family and friends to Alice and Valalan's Jewelers, you literally get treated like you are a close part of their family business.

There's so many great things I want to say about this store, BUT to keep it short so you know why this is the best place to shop I will get straight to the point.

My fiancé proposed to me with the intention of having me design my own engagement ring. So tough choice is, how much research do we need to do to find the right one?

I am happy Alice was our first choice as I did have some jewelry pieces (like 1 sided diamond to a hoop earring) that I wanted to be repurposed.

She gave a lot of information on what to look for in a design and style for me. I didn't want a vintage look but wanted something dainty. We tinkered with a few style for a couple of weeks. I was a frustrating bride to be because with today's information at the tip of your finger, there was so much style to choose from!

I then threw in a wrench asking for some emeralds, but not to make it look Christmas-y.

At the end of the day, she somehow made it happen!

I get so many compliments on my ring and everyone is still amazed at the addition emeralds that is elegantly placed.

I can't wait to come back and get a few other pieces designed here.

Simply put, Alice makes the ring selection process fun and easy. Not only does she provide recommendations if you need guidance, but she’s okay with going back to square one if you’re just not sure. My fiancé and I had a great experience working with everyone at her store, highly recommend!

Had some expensive jewelry. I was only looking for some "not so expensive " charms or bracelets. They only had a couple to choose from. The lady that help me was nice.

Do not buy from this company! No return policy, store credit ONLY. They have sold to our family for 20 plus years and not exceptions. Guys make sure she LOVES it before you buy. Owner was very condescending when I called to question her policy. $1300 down the drain on an OVERPRICED necklace.

As I could not reply to the owners totally unprofessional response I will add to my review ... let's just say the lack of professionalism says it all. 1 year later! I am more familiar with better brands so the quality your store offers is not for me. Simple as that.
