What a great place to eat on Beverly Blvd. The food was great but the service was outstanding. Everything was on point. No trash like used napkins or used dishes were left to sit in front of us. Drinks were refilled before they ran out and so much courtesy and attentiveness. Definitely going back.

I’ve been eating at the Long Beach location for years, was super excited to discover this one last month and after my third trip here this weekend decided it was finally time to post a review.

I’ve always ordered the exact same things at either location: chicken tawook + garlic potatoes. Both are splendid, especially the potatoes with the lemon / acidity flavors absolutely lighting up the tastebuds! I should try something else but man… it’s so good lol

The chicken is also very flavorful, and I love the salad and salad dressing that come with those meal. I really wish it came with a starch as well either rice or some sort of potato, but as I do like the garlic potatoes, and I understand the care that went into making them so I don’t mind purchasing this separately.

All in all, this location is just as good as the Long Beach location for me. I’m not sure which one opened first, but I’m going to regularly visit both.

Such a great spot for locals and visitors alike! The previous reviews speak for themselves. This place has an outstanding vibe, great service and even better food. We got the party platter for 4 and it was so good and so much food... And that garlic sauce... **chef's kiss** Highly recommend!

My 1st time and it was as good as promised. Everything we had was tasty from apps to dessert. Definitely look forward to going back.

A terrific experience all around, from service to food. Wadid was a consummate gentleman helping my mom go up the stairs with every step. Everything about our meal was exquisite, and we can hardly wait to visit again.

My recent dining experience at Open Sesame was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Despite not having a reservation, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within 15 minutes. The food was like a home-cooked meal, incredibly authentic, and bursting with flavor. Each dish was a delightful experience, and it was evident that great care was taken in preparing them. The service was also outstanding, exceeding all expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with delicious, homestyle food and impeccable service.

Delicious!!! Omg finally a traditional set of Mediterranean food that you can’t stop eating combined with great interior design and decent service!

For sure we’ll come again.

They have lovely tables outside on the terrace.

Tips: don’t order the appetizer plate (21$), get instead the vegetarian plate (16$) - you get the same amount of food and almost same assortment of the items.

Pity that night they run out of classical hummus but offered to replace it with really delicious spicy one.

Tahini, parsley salad & eggplant spread are to die for. Falafel - just perfect soft inside and crispy outside.

Pizzas are boring tbh not worth ordering same as dry & not sweet tiny baklava sticks. Get another somewhere else or try different desert…

For all classical dishes Shashuka was missing but the rest was really delicious.

Orange blossom water is great on its own and mint leaves if hot water poured on top do not get brown with time. If they are added on top of hot water, the steam makes them brown -> that’s basics feedback for the bartender to note ;)

Besides that, it’s a really cosy atmosphere and well visited place. Great design touches in spacious bathrooms and comfy seated outdoor area.

Perfect for romantic dates or friends dinners.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Cannot recommend this restaurant more. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend the lamb chops which are cooked to perfection! The service is impecable and the atmosphere is great for a nice night out. We’ll definitely become regulars at this spot!

This place is awesome. Their food is super delicious and it is one of the few places on Beverly Blvd, that actually are not only affordable, but also have a stunning ambiance with plenty of indoor and outdoor options. A perfectly romantic place to enjoy some Mediterranean food. The staff is super friendly, and the manager will likely come by at some point to ensure all is well. I highly recommend the Sultan Platter and the cheesecake like desert. So yummy!

I’m Lebanese & this is the best Middle Eastern food in the area. Food here is authentic as it could get. The garlic sauce is the best tasting one I’ve had so far here WEHO, not too strong like other places. The meat and vegetables are good quality. Plenty of Vegan options to choose from! I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a line, Hollywood’s best kept secret. Food is amazing I got the Foul and the Open Sesame platter and it’s my second time coming in 5 days.

Whoever was managing the restaurant on Friday night 2/16 is very passionate about what he does. Warm welcoming and excellent service despite the immense crowd tonight. Food is authentic and delicious! I will be frequenting the long beach location since it’s just a few minutes from my house! :)

The food here was absolutely amazing!! The service was fantastic. The only thing I was not happy with was the music playing. It was a lot of do-wop and Beach boys. I was hoping for some more Mediterranean music. But overall definitely worth coming back. We got the party platter and it was enough to feed an army!!!

Owner is friendly but not overbearing. Waitress Amaany was kind and attentive. Food is great! Especially the cheesecake

Enjoyed the atmosphere and attentive & friendly service. My tabouleh salad ($11 including fresh green leaf lettuce) was fresh and delicious, my partner's Vegetarian Entree ($16) was yummy and well presented, and our cocktails--"Fresh Prince of Beirut" ($12) and "A-Roc Star" ($13) were soooo good (though the former was on the small side, served in a champagne glass). Though the baklawa/baklava ($7) was super small and drier than I'm used to (perhaps it just wasn't a good night for it), my partner enjoyed his Turkish coffee ($5), and we devoured the Lebanese ice cream ($6. We chose ashta, pistachio, and almond, and they were all incredibly creamy). We sat in the back by the small fountain and kitchen--it was secluded and comfortable. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent food, fun atmosphere, and great service. I enjoyed the lamb chops and the baklava crumble was out of this world. Will definitely be back.
