Glenn is an amazing, talented and highly skilled stylist. She always listens to your needs and caveats, while offering thoughtful and creative solutions. Beyond that, she gets genuinely excited for her clients to walk out with a look they really love (and which will work for their lifestyle). Her pricing is also very fair. For both cuts and color, you couldn’t possibly be in better hands!

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored with Glenn for the last two years and honestly I have never loved my hair more. On top of that she’s one of the kindest and easiest to talk to humans. It’s a treat all around when I get to come get my hair done!

I have been going to Glenn for 8 years for my color and cuts. She actually saved me from an awful dye job in 2016 and I have been a loyal customer ever since. She’s the chillest person, and I’m always so happy with my hair.

I have been getting my hair cut by Lizzie for a decade. I absolutely love her. I was so glad she moved from NY to LA at the same time as me so I could continue to get my hair cut by her. She does a great job with explaining what is and isn’t possible with my hair, and has walked me kindly back from some bad decisions. Her focus on eco friendly products and diverse clientele and hair styles and textures is something i appreciate very much! If I could give 6 stars I would!

Shine Salon is the best, Lizzie is amazing. I have been looking for a new hair stylist since the person I was going to moved out of town. My previous 3 haircuts have been at three different business and I had been extremely unhappy with all three - never to return. Then I tried Shine Salon and absolutely loved the cut Lizzie gave me. I'm so happy to have found a new salon that I love. The Best!

Lizzie’s style and practice is amazing. She cuts men’s hair beautifully and I’m eager to visit her business again.

This is my favorite salon!! Lizzie is incredible - she makes you feel completely at ease, does incredible work, and always leaves you feeling like you've just gotten the best haircut of your life. Also, the space is beautifully designed, filled with plants, and has the coolest bathroom mural ever. Cannot recommend more.

Lizzie is a master of hair coloring and cutting, and I am so thankful a friend recommend her! I was looking to change my hair pretty drastically, and Lizzie was the perfect person to do so. From the start she was communicative, made sure she understood what I wanted, and was super clear with what she was planning to do to help me achieve it. She was so kind and fun to work with, and super professional in every aspect of my hair journey. I needed up being at the salon for multiple hours, and she was just an absolute delight to work with.

The products she uses are super nice, environmentally conscious and left my hair feeling amazing, and the salon is super welcoming and clean.

Lizzie really listens plus she has a calm and grounding presence and a great eye. She recently took me from waist long hair to a very short cut, which I love. I trust her completely - she always checks in with me but, at this point, I know I can just close my eyes, relax and let her do her magic!

Lizzie has been my hair guru for a decade. First in NY then in LA. Anything she does is magic. She is a dedicated and consummate professional- while also somehow celebrating your own whims and whispers to support any transformation you want to undertake. She sees the natural beauty in you and skillfully highlights your best self. She’s also a smart, resilient amazing woman and it’s such a privilege to sit in her chair - style, grace and wisdom- not to be taken for granted in the City of Angels.

Giving it one star. I passed by one day and noticed the hairdresser attending to a client. I kept walking and then thought about asking if they do men haircuts as it has been a while since my last cut. As I turned around, I heard the door lock but I didn’t think much of it. I did realize she locked it when I tried to walk in to ask the question. Playing it cool, I just simply knocked and her response was a gesture of “my hands are tied”. I’m assuming she had hair dye on her hands but yet managed to lock the door. I don’t know if it is because I am a male or there being another reason but I felt discriminated. You can just imagine the embarrassment I felt as her client just stared at me and laughed as she dismissed me. At the end of the day, just because someone doesn’t fit your clientele doesn’t mean you treat them with no regards. I hope you develop growth within yourself and your business. I wish you the best.
