Belvedere Community Regional Park

My son attended a Brazilian jujitsu class at Belvedere Park. It has been awesome seeing the kids receive top notch training taught by The East Los Angeles Jujitsu.

Nice park, we always bring our dogs here. Usually safe but sometimes there are people parked in their cars that seem to be living in them.

Incredible Park that has seen dramatic improvements over the past few years. To name a few: brand new Olympic sized swimming pool that is kept in excellent condition, 2 brand new full sized basketball courts with smooth paving, updated playground for children.

Other amenities include 2 full tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and a skate park. In my opinion no other neighborhood park in LA County comes close. There is plenty of room for everyone and the grounds are kept up.

My only recommendation would be to install some water fountains that also include a dog fountain at the bottom since so many people walk their dogs there.

There is also the South side of the park that is below the 60 freeway that can be accessed via foot bridge. It includes a large pond that is stocked with fish to enjoy fishing and a small ampitheatre.

To the gentleman who posted a review regarding no shade on the playground, I disagree, the playground and park itself is surrounded with plenty of trees.

This park always clean and grass ways green. They have soccer field, baseball field, basketball, skating zone, aquatics, tennis field as well, you can also grill in this park, grills are next to each gazebo. So far is one of the park in East los Angeles that have so many open field for children and adults to enjoy.

My first time coming here and it's amazing !!! Bathrooms are great !! I've never seen them so private and clean and modern in any park ! Also the amount of things they have here !

Amazing atmosphere. Pokemon go friendly with 4 EX gyms in the 2 parks. Lake side and park side.

Really good place to visit. Actually I use to visit here as a kid and now I am back with friends playing basketball and it's still very fun here like when I was a kid

I love going there they have a lot of dressing rooms... private showers.. Staff is really friendly kind and helpful. There are many different pools for both babies children and adults

Beautiful park to spend time with family and friends

I visited the pool area only, but it was awesome! The water was clean and warm, the lifeguards were present, and they had plenty of lockers, showers, and changing stalls. The best part it was free! Thurs, Fridays, and Saturday night swim is free! I will definitely go there again when in the area. The one issue I must mention, the area around the entrance to the pool area is very dark, it would be nice to put a light or two up, just to feel safe walking out and back to my car, but I didn't feel unsafe, just peace of mind I guess Lol. Have a swim here next time your around! You will love it!

This pool was the greatest place for me growing up during the summer.for many years....
I first had to do my shores and they were many..... But I knew that once I was done....
I would have the entire Afternoon to myself till closing time.....
Now it's time to show my grandchildren

Great place for everyone. I enjoy taking a walk on the Apple walkways with my elderly mom. Some of the walkways offered the perfect challenging incline For her. Lots to see and do . Plenty of people enjoying their lunch and families on the swing sets on this workday afternoon enjoying the clean park.

A lot of shaded areas. Playground structures and swings for different ages. Public park. New program beginning April 1st "Everyone Plays" which allows you to check out/borrow sports equipment for free from 2:30pm-5:30pm.

This park is on point when it comes to covid guidelines. They’ve always posted updates on county guidelines in both English & Spanish on trees or poles throughout the park so there’s no excuse to not follow the guidelines while out there!

Pretty big park with a soccer field, baseball field, skate park, tennis courts, swimming pool & splash zone for little kids, basketball courts, children’s playground with multiple sets of swings, public restrooms, and a community center!
Plenty of benches & tables. Theres at least 3 gazebo-type areas. 1 large one with at least 3 long tables is in front of the community pool where ppl typically do parties (pre-covid).
There’s big trees so it’s a great place to picnic in the shade on the grass even.
It’s connected to Hamasaki school.
This place is a great place to walk around.
There’s no major bug problems like flies or gnats besides mosquitos when they are in season but I never get bit that bad when I’m out here past sunset.

Clean, green, and beautiful environment. Great baseball field, I love it.
