Point Vicente Animal Hospital

The compassion, care and steadfastness of care for creatures of all kinds makes me feel so happy to have them as my primary care for my Guinea pigs. Along with being affordable, they’ve always taken the moment to be educative in their care and incredibly affirming with any concerns for our pets.

Point Vicente has the BEST staff. Drs. Dueppen and Micco have taken excellent care of our Jack Russell mix (Penny) who has pretty significant health issues - it is not a stretch to say they have saved her life two different times with troubleshooting and hospital care in the day so that we could take her home at night and not need to go to the emergency vet. We also have a large breed pup (Moose) who has only needed well visits so far and I appreciate the staff’s thoroughness in that regard.

We have been going to Pt. Vicente since Liberace was a puppy, he is almost 12. Everyone from the doctors to the technicians have been wonderful this whole time! Over the years Libby started suffering from allergies, then colitis, to an irreversible heart condition to occasional "scares." Dr. Micco has been diligent, caring and has gone above and beyond the call of her profession! She is an angel on earth! In her absence, Dr. B has been amazing. Thank you to all those (Dawn, Shawna, James...) that helped Liberace when he was on a "hunger strike" and wouldn't eat...bringing him food from home, hand feeding him. Big hugs and kisses to you all. Thank you for taking care of our dog, as he is our family and loved so much!!!! Marisa Kunich

We have trusted all out pets-our Golden Retriever, Eclectis Parrot, 3 Siberian Huskies and now 2 orange Tabby Cats with Dr. Carol Jones and her competent and caring Staff. They treat all of us like family and are there for veterinarian care and pet boarding!

We brought our bunnies Nomi and Sunshine to Dr. Dueppen for a checkup, and she was absolutely outstanding !
She made our little ones feel right at home, and was so informative and reassuring to us (we are new Bunny parents).
Point Vicente is our new go-to veterinary hospital for our sweet little buns !

Dr. Micco helped us get our chickens vaccinated. She took great care of them and you can tell she loves the animals. So happy we've met her!

I took Buttercup here the first time she got sick and they saved her life 💙 They took such great care of her this time as well. They also helped me out with Bruno and he’s a big boy. Thank you guys for the help and the patience, great place to take your sick buddy they really care and know what they’re doing.

I have been going here for years, starting with bringing my rats to Dr. Micco. I now bring my two dogs and I am always satisfied after my visits with the care and compassion I am given. If you are looking for a new hospital, give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Pasadena Hospital had quoted me a $140 deposit for just an exam & availability in 5 days. Same-day was $199. Pt Vicente was over double the commute time but for a hedgehog exam, oral meds, topical cream, & nail trimming it was $127 total & a same-day appt was available! Afterwards, we had a beach photo shoot 2 miles away.

I brought in my cat with a nasty rash on her belly. Dr.Micco ( who is amazing) and Staff treated her, now she's way better. The Staff was so helpfu eventhough they were so busy that day, they were very friendly and kind.(specially Dawn) she went out of her way to take care of us. Thank you! 😊

I love Dr Micco, she’s been taking care of my beardie for years now, and even though I now live over 30 miles away it’s still worth the trip to have her see my lil gal. Will always recommend her for exotics!!

Dr. Micco and the entire team at Pt. Vicente are the best, most caring, highly skilled, and current on all the latest treatment options. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my furry family members.

WHY WOULDN"T YOU share with your fur-baby mommy's the BEST place to take them when they need extra other mommy attention. All the staff are terrific and the DR's do treat your baby like it was theirs. What more could you want for them? I take all of my charges and my own to them and NO ONE ELSE! Trust me you will be happy, and so will your baby.Come to my house is the only thing that is missing here. Kidding, there is not a single thing I would change. Mellow's Dr. Micco treats him like he was her very own, she saved his life and when she is not there due to her schedule I am comfy with any of the vets there. It is truly like everyone is family.

The best vet clinic ever. Everyone is a great team. My guinea pigs always feel their best when they come here. :)

My dog Zack arrived very badly where you and your attention was unique, you helped him recover, you had better care than expected and they left medications that are now working very well.

Just established care for our two boxers there after moving to the area. The staff was wonderful, the prices were reasonable and the care they received seemed top notch! Thank you everyone 😀😀😀

Beautiful office, very nice staff. The doctor is extremely experienced with birds, she put my cockatiels right at ease and then treated them. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this hospital to anyone with an animal.

I took my budgie(a bird) with a past neurological disorder here as well as mild hypovitaminosis as recommended by the people I got him from. I drove an hour to get here and it was totally worth it. Toki is doing great because of Dr Micco. All his feathers are continuing to grow back and he’s slowly gaining weight. I’ve never felt more comfortable with an exotic vet.

I love that everyone knows my dog's name and understands her anxiety. I think she is happy when she visits boarding and her care has been outstanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. She is such a wonderful addition to our family and we love that you love her too!

Awesome team of professionals! Love the staff, they are like family to my baby Capone & I ❤ They are ANAZING 🙏🏼 I highly recommend them!
