I have been here twice.Once for thread heavy duty.
Bought a brush 🪥 for my painting.
Then I bought buttons for my coat.
They have a great amount of Easter items.Great prices for everyone.

This store has less items of the same kind than a typical Michaels store as it's smaller, but it still has plenty of items to choose from. The store is clean, has a craft center where you can take monthly offerings of different crafts, and has wide areas so you never feel crowded. Additionally, they have a framing center for pictures, art, etc..

Every time I go, I typically find what is needed for my project. I also grab a shopping cart as I love browsing and always find an item or two I need. Having a place to hold my items makes it convenient.

Located on the top level of the shopping center, if you have mobity issues, make sure to park on the top-level parking area, across from the Michaels doors.

The elevators and escalators don't always work in the parking garage. When I was there on Saturday the elevator was broken and all the escalators going down had been turned off in the parking garage This was the second time over the holidays where I found myself walking down the ramps as the two flights of stairs were too many with my injuries.

There's no better store to go to for almost anything related to art, home decorating etc they have the best prices as well. Typically we get coupons via email however most of the supplies are already marked at a really good price. Some are up to 70%. Also every time you check out you get another coupon printed on your receipt (40% sometimes 60% to use on one item) .The fact that some are even $1 -$3 it's just impossible walking out without grabbing over 20 items at time. Store is super clean, organized and they are always available to assist on the floor. Check it out 'FALL' season decorations are already here (I'd say Halloween is ready for you to).
Definitely the best place to bring your 'little ones' as they have so many things for kids as well including art classes.
Must mention the fact that there's plenty parking inside the mall structure 3 floors) after all this is Japan Town LA very popular spot with great Asian restaurants all around so once you're exhausted from shopping you can enjoy a nice relaxing break at restaurant :)

Even more noticeable when other store staffs are totally drooping, the help is astonishing. It may not be easy to get someone on the phone right away but the Michael's staff is more than SUPER HELPFUL and responsive on the phone and in the store.

I am just blown away, in fact, by the genuine care and professional expertise when I needed picture frame. I just learned today that the bought Aaron Brothers so this is part of the reason.

And the store was always too much fun, like peeking into the teacher's secret closet for colorful and novel treasures.

Super helpful staff and large place that usually has obvious items for such an arts & crafts place, and sometimes even some surprises (like unusual glass vases for parties)

I love Michael’s. You go in and get what you need and then some! They are having a great spring sale right now so I got some super cute pots are a super cheap price. Like under two dollars each. Can’t beat that.
I came in for paint and sealant spray. Left with t-shirts to tye dye and cute home decor. I’m glad it’s still there. They have these new self checkout machines which makes it that much easier. Oh! And they are always having sales specially on pretty paper packs like those to craft with.

Great store! I always find everything I need for my painting, knitting hobbies and decor. They got awesome self checkout registers, so the lines are faster now and it’s easy to get your points and use coupons.

Loved Michael but the cashiers that make me go out the self checkout is making me go farther away from home to shop. I do NOT work there, I do not check myself out! I mess up deals every time! I cashiered for 45 years, it's not my job! I support Humans having jobs.

Team members are helpful, and the store seems to have everything you may ever need.

Way better paint selection than I thought it would have - and so many canvases!

I had a picture frame that was framed by one of Michael's other locations a long time ago, however, I had a problem with the glass and wooden frame and so I wrote them plenty of letters and Thankfully, I was invited to come back to my local Michael's store in order to get taken care of properly and right!

In My Case: I had to make two (2) trips which was Not Their Fault!

The first time that I visited them, I had to get the broken glass replaced, however, when I got back home, I also discovered that the wood that was used for the wooden frame had a slight discoloration.

Thankfully, I was allowed to come back to the same Michael's store for a second time and was well taken care of by Crystal.

My only disappointment was that they did not have the wooden frame available and I had to leave it there for about seven (7) more days and they will call me back around October 27, 2017 to pick it up.

Other then that, they atleast took good care of ME as their Michael's Loyal Customer and I'm sure that they will do a Great Job at Replacing The Wooden Frame as well like they did for the Glass Portion already.

I want to personally Thank Crystal and the other former male employee from the week before for taking care of ME and all of my Michael's Picture Framing Needs back on Friday, October 20, 2017.

I am writing a second (2nd) review because unfortunately, I had to take the picture frame/glass back twice to the store because there was a slight discoloration on the wooden frame from the past which is Not their personal fault.

However, I am Proud to say that Michael's Took Care Of All My Needs and as of Thursday, October 26, 2017, I left the store being a Very Satisfied And Happy Michael's Customer!

I personally want to Thank Claudia, the onsite store manager for taking care of ME on my Very Last Visit (and hopefully Not the Last Visit Ever) because Michael's Does Excellent Custom Picture Framing and Really Goes Out Of Their Way To Take Care Of Their Customer's Needs!

Wide selection of craft materials. Easy parking. The only downsides are:
1) there's always a long line to check out. They mostly make people do self check out now, which is not pleasant
2) coupons have gotten worse over the years, and they don't accept competitor coupons.
3) relatively small sewing materials section

I went to Michaels to buy items to wrap my Christmas presents, like every year I do, but this year, as a surprise, I was attended by Sarah in the payment area, which is a perfect addition, she is sweet as a cashier, very difficult to find, it makes your experience as a whole get better. Congratulations Michaels

I love coming to this Michaels. It's always organized. I have gone to other Michaels retailers, and they are a mess.

The framing here is super fast and they do great work!

I always find the coolest stuff and everything I need at Michael's.

This place is on the 3rd floor. I ❤ Michaels, it's one of my favorite stores. Compared to other Michaels, I've been to its smaller but, well stocked. I found a $10 mystery holiday box. It had a bunch of Christmas goodies that will be put to good use during Christmas..
