MIGHTY Bowl

So this a takeaway/restaurant (only 8 seats, four tables total) and doesn't have a bathroom. But the food was quick and great tasting. We were very impressed with the mixture of carbs, protein and vegetables in the different bowls. We had prawns (shrimp) in one and again impressed with the amount of prawns we received. Good serving size. I'm big guy, big bowl filled me up, small bowl is plenty for most. Simple menu, great variation still, good sauces. Very satisfied. Cute spot. Almost missed the entrance. Hole in the wall.

When you’re vegetarian it’s difficult to find places to eat that prepares your food separate from the meat and fish stuff. I’ve had some places look at me like I’m crazy when I ask that it be cooked separate. When they don’t or won’t. I leave. This is not the case here at mighty bowl. They didn’t even think it strange and I like that type of customer service. I’m totally feeling the California. Tofu has to grow on you especially if it’s not prepared with other yummy stuff. I don’t get here often but when work allows I’ll have a seat.

I stopped by last week for the first time in years and ordered my favorite item from them - the Penang Bowl. Despite the pandemic causing quite a few establishments changing and not for the better, the food is exactly how I remember it. The peanut curry sauce is to die for and everything tasted fresh. The service was very friendly. Definitely give this place a shot the next time you're on MacDougal Street.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Service is fast, quality is great and the food is delicious. Huge fan of the Tokyo and Seoul bowls, but you can build your own if yo ou want. Substitutes are also available so you can tailor it to your taste.

I had the Manila with pork belly. Tasty and filling. Not spicy at all. Definitely recommend.

This place is INCREDIBLY underrated, the food is flavorful, healthy, and is a great value. They didn’t skimp on the protein, it’s just all around a great option for a quick, fast casual meal. I wouldn’t come here to sit down for a shared meal, but a great grab and go option.

Healthy, tasty and fast. Different from other fast food options on the block.Take a break from pizza, bagels and sandwiches. Pay cash get a discount. The staff are nice as well.

I ordered Tokyo with white rice, the rice and the sauce are really nice, for a good price. The menu in google map is before tax, and the menu in the store is after tax.

The food was so delicious and the service fast that after having a huge bowl for lunch I brought there my wife and shared another lunch with her plus bough a delicious soup to go.
I am a vegan for 48 days due to my religious tradition. I asked their manager to create a bowl for me and his nutritional mix was priceless.
Would highly recommend this fast but healthy food to my loved once.

What a wonderful place for lunch. They're fast and efficient, and DAMN if that miso BBQ sauce isn't amazing. Tofu here is cooked to perfection - not too crunchy, and not too soft. Small area with no seats for "dine-in". They deliver though.

A small establishment where only 10 can sit with several bowl recipe options plus make your own. The staff was really willing to work around my rice allergy and even offered to change their gloves. They subbed quinoa instead of rice for a small up charge. The bowls come in one size and the portions are generous.

Fresh, large portions with bursts of flavor!!! Egg was nicely poached - I hate when it's too raw.

Everything I've had has been great but the highlight on the menu is the laksa. You can customize and swap ingredients if you prefer or have dietary requirements. I usually add extra broccoli to mind and it's delicious!

Kind of like the Chipotle of Asian food (lack of a better reference) chances are what ever you order you will absolutely love. These locations are small but never waited past 5 minutes before ordering. I recommend visiting if you want a change from your usual....this might replace it.

Really good food. Had the Penang, perfect amount of spice and the cucumbers & parsley were fresh. They also have a good selection of fun canned drinks like guava juice and Thai tea.

Great food for a good price; filling, tasty, and nutritious. Service is also great. Pleasant staff and never rude. I’ve been going here since my freshman year in college!

Very tasty bowls- I especially like the Poke and Penang. Service is also always friendly. Grab a bowl to go and chill out in nearby Washington Square Park.
