This guy knows his stuff! He rebuilt my transmission and it's still running great five years later.

I have been going to Hilltop Automotive for many years. I always have a great experience due to their professionalism. I went for an oil change and vehicle inspection. They found two brakes lightbulbs were burnt out and replaced them that day. They also let me know what work would likely need to be done the next time I am there for an oil change. I know that my vehicle will be operating safely when I leave. I highly recommend them.

Best and Most Trustworthy Automotive Repair shop around. Its so conveniently located. Its super clean, which I love.. but mostly, it their trust that I have gained. Its by the house - but they still give me rides home and to pick up my car.. its always an added bonus that my cars are washed and looking amazing when I pick them up, for any service. Hilltop Automotive is so reliable, I consider them to be a Staple on the hill. It’s locally owned and operates, we have been taking our cars there for almost 19 years.. always impeccable service, and love the car wash after. Cheaper than the dealer, and more intelligent than the dealers. Support local and get great service.

I own a 1970 classic that lacks available parts. Hilltop's enterprise in fabricating replacement parts on their premises is both outstanding and ingenious. I appreciate the bespoke service I receive, after all, these are real car guys that really care.

Great mechanics. A little pricey.

Wow are they pricey indeed! Standard maintenance on my 2013 Lexus went from an estimate of $300 ended being $575 "because the estimate didn't include parts" for the oil and filter. Owner dripping with attitude when I asked about a part that had fallen off. Told me i was "unrealistic" that they could find out where the part came from, that he would have to "memorize the parts books". SO RUDE!

I wasn’t ever going to leave a review but now that I’ve spent thousands on service and still today have issues on his past repairs, in addition, had almost considered going to court if he did not pay back on some repairs. His work is no different then any other mechanic, except that we’re in Palos Verdes and pay more. Looking at his past bills today and comparing quotes I've received today for the repairs he already completed, and now needed again..Total rip off!
