If I could give this business a zero, I would but I can't.
Mr. Lavi and his son Shawn, filed my taxes for several years and every year my filings were done late and incorrectly, resulting in thousands of dollars in penalties and interest payments, not to mention my bank account getting levied several times due to their negligence.
The straw that broke the camel's back was the last tax return that Shawn filed incorrectly and based on his own words, he said he royally "F"ed up and he would do anything to make it good, no matter what it takes but neither him or his father were of any help to resolve the issue. All I got was emails not being responded to and me having to drop by unannounced to catch one of them, only to be given the runaround. I ended up moving to a different CPA firm and had to go back and appeal my tax returns from the previous years which costed me thousands of dollars in fees to my new CPA, penalties to IRS and FTB, and interest. My frustration is the fact that neither Mr. Lavi or Shawn were of any help after they agreed they royally "F"ed up my taxes but would not respond to emails, texts or return my calls. I am out of pocket thousands and the least I can do is to let other know to be careful when hiring this firm.
I have every proof for the above statement.
