Sutadonya Santa Monica inside Mitsuwa Market

Stopped by Mitsuwa and decided to get a bowl at Sutadonya! The food was tasty, filling, and well priced. Everything I wanted in a quick lunch. Very fast and friendly service. In a corner inside the grocery store, sharing tables and chairs with other food storefronts. Swing by and grab a meal! Highly recommend and will be back.

We ordered a #1 “Stamina Pork Rice Bowl” ($9) which was thinly sliced pork belly stir fried with thin sliced onions and garlic soy sauce served over rice. We thought this was very good.

We also ordered a #5 “Stamina Fried Chicken Rice Bowl” ($14) which had fried chicken thigh chunks with a very crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful inside. Served with a spicy sweet soy sauce and kewpie mayonnaise over rice. This was also delicious.

Service was great! The guy in the shop helped us navigate the menu and pick items that could be cooked in the time frame we were looking for. After we got our food and were enjoying it they closed up for Christmas Day. We were one of the last customers, so the guy at the shop delivered us an extra bowl of karaage, and then another one because he couldn't find his other customer. We gave one of the bowls to another family because it would have been too much food. They were generous (and we were lucky).

We were so hungry that I forgot to get any pictures of the food.

The food was great! Large portions and good prices. The pork cutlet was crispy & the curry was fresh. It's definitely worth the visit.

自助點餐。沒有豬排，只有雞排。雞排咖哩份量非常大，而且咖哩味道很香濃。如果，能附贈，或是提供加點味噌湯的選項就更棒了！

Food is great. But why do you hire front dest worker who hates everybody and seems like under influence?

They served not eatable rice
I can tell it’s overcooked or under cooked. All stick together.
Curry is COLD like just out from refrigerator.
The two young guys working there running away after my order. I can’t even return it.
The bread of the chicken is much thicker than chicken meat.
The worst chicken katsu ever.

My Mount Fuji curry was cold and instead of melted cheese it was store bought grated cheddar on top of Fuji, have not disliked a restaurant in a long time but this does it. They even have the audacity to have you order on a robot and ask for a tip, TIPS ARE GIVEN FOR GOOD SERVICE!!! THERES NO SERVICE AND THE FOOD IS BAD. Don’t get the weirdly seasoned curry just order some takoyaki if you order anything. (Have not had the takoyaki so order at your own risk)

Ordered karaage and gyoza combo and yakisoba. Karaage was covered in gloopy mess of onion and garlic sauce (?) could only taste garlic… yakisoba was not yakisoba, more like greasy chow mein. Terrible

The rice is undercooked. Pork is too salty.
First time try with unexpected huge disappointment.
