Great park and trails! Had the opportunity to walk a couple of trails while in town for a couple of days. Will definitely be back and walk some trails that go higher up. Hope to walk up to Griffith Observatory.

Park has a golf course, the Greek Theater, nice little cafe and great views of downtown LA. Must visit if you are in town and in the area

Great place to learn about astronomy and to get some great views of Los Angeles. Parking costs $10 per hour. However, you can park at the bottom of the hill next to Greek theatre for free and take the free shuttle bus which runs every 20 to 30 minutes. This place gets very crowded even on a week day so expected crowds

It was a truly unique and fantastic experience for me. I advise parking elsewhere and hop on one of the free buses. Trust me, the parking situation is a nightmare🙄 you could spend two hours trying to get out! But the buses are frequent and not too crowded. Once you're there, it's a good knowledge place for learning, especially for kids interested in space and the universe. You'll get a not so bad but good view of the Hollywood sign and catch a 30-minute show for just $10. People chilling on the grass outside looked pretty cool, too. The breeze up there makes the weather super comfortable, and I bet the sunset and night views are breathtaking. I was sad I couldn't go around sunset time. I’ll visit again during sunset another time.

Incredible time at Griffith Park. The observatory was marvelous. Plenty to see and do. I was amazed at all the license plates from all across the states as far as Maine. As for myself, besides, look at the stars. I went on a 12.32-miles hike all around the park to the Hollywood sign, Hollywood reservoir, and back, going around in a huge circle. I had to go off the main paths to reach many of the locations around the park. A mixture of craziness, excitement, sweat, and challenges I got out of my day. But, I am a regular at this and done harder obstacles, which I had to climb hillsides going through thick brush. Determination, willpower, and training are the keys to making that journey. Very exhausting hike with a beautiful view of the surrounding areas.
My next goal is to hike across the entire region of Griffith Park.

Starting from Bronson canyon. Once you’ve reach for the crest there are a number of trails to go to over this enormous park. From here I took a right on the further climb to the view of the Observatory and the LA basin and to the pacific and south. Beautiful day, give it a try. No water or restrooms, bring water. The

Wonderful place to enjoy the hills, mountains and natural beauty. People can hike here. There are enough room for picnic too! You’ll see the squirrels running around. And you’ll enjoy the sounds of birds chirping!!!

The most known park of Los Angeles, which has a lot to offer. There are plenty of amazing hiking trails for all levels and lengths. Although it is definitely very popular with tourists and locals, coming in the early morning definitely helps to beat the crowds. We really enjoyed the visit.

Free bus and free entry. The 360 movies are $10 each, and I love it. Even I slept for one of them. The view of the city is amazing.

This park is a great place to see LA’s surrounding nature and you can get a good view of the Hollywood sign and the skyline too. The facilities and park are well maintained and it feels amazing to take a drive around the park and enjoy the mountains!

Beautiful park with an Observatory at the top. There are lots of hiking trails. Please watch the posted signs.

Pay attention to the posted signs for parking on the way to the top as well as at the Observatory’s lot. $10 per hour! There’s free parking down the hill on the Western side and another on the Vermont side (Greek Theater).

Although it was a little foggy when we visited it was still a great view of the city and an excellent view of the famous Hollywood sign. Plus I got my wings (as you can see) and it was a good time to visit with traffic and parking, which was great, with very little tourists. Definitely would make the effort to get there.

Absolutely a must place to visit. There is so much to see and learn about inside the Observatory. It is free to enter. The view is wonderful and the best part. We stayed 4 hours and saw most but not all of it. We didn't see any of the videos that you have to pay for ($10 per adult).

Traffic is terrible. We took the bus and found free parking just down the hill (near the Greek theater).

Unfortunately we missed out on looking through the telescope because it didn't open until 7:00pm. I would go back and plan to hike.

Absolutely amazing sights of the entire city, just breathtaking. The museum is very informative and nice. Highly recommend if you're visiting to take this place in. Plan on spending a while here as you take in everything. Do yourself a favor and plan towards the end of the day so you can see the city in the daytime and nighttime. Very beautiful sight to behold.

This place is worth the visit. You can park on street for free, just don’t go too near to the building. You may have to walk a little bit but it’s fun. Restroom is on the way. You can see LA lights at night. Watching Tesla coil operated was one of the best experiences. You can get lot of information on astronomy.

Great experience, we hiked to reach the hill where the observatory is located, there is a lot of interesting things to do like the demo show of the tesla coil, the 3d show in that amazing dome, the souvenir store, the mueseum etc. Highly recommended!

Such a great variety of hiking trails- we did a nice easy 3 hour hike starting from the carousel parking lot all the way up to the vista plateau and stayed there for enjoying the view of the observatory and downtown LA. We got a bit twisted up on the way down but made it eventually- a peaceful, calm hike.

This is an awesome, well organized attraction in Carlifornia. The view from the top of the Mountain overlooking LA is an experience by itself and is a beautiful experience. The layout of the Observatory is really interesting and very educational. Anyone taking the tour will learn so much. I would recommend this experience to everyone.

The staff members are very, very friendly and welcoming.
