Limericks Tavern DTLA

This is one of only 2 Irish bars I know downtown and it is my favorite. 3 different sections and a nice patio. One section looks like a cozy den, a bar that has a pub feel and a patio bar area which is very nice and open. Service is outstanding and the menu is excellent. Good selection of original dishes as well as some Irish tavern standards. Great beer selection and of course big selection of whiskeys. Moderately priced and portions are perfect. Lots of TVs everywhere so perfect for catching the game.

Hi, this is an amazing place, the atmosphere is so good, and the food oh wow, it's so so good.
It's very close to some parking places and some buses.
The prices amare not cheap but no expensive I think you got a great experience in limericks for the price . And the music is amazing too

I don’t know why this bar isn’t completely packed every night because it’s such a clean and nice space!

They have arcade machines, plenty of HDTV’s on the walls with (the) game(s) on and beautiful pop music playing.

Half the bar was pretty packed for a Tuesday night but the other side had hardly any action!

I think it’s cause of the area. This part of DTLA seems to have really been gutted out by the pandemic.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile from the staff. I was blown away by the hometown feel of a neighborhood pub.

The standout of my experience, however, was the general manager named Sal. From the first moment we met, he made me feel like an old friend, welcoming me with open arms and making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. He took the time to chat with me and get to know me, making me feel like a valued customer rather than just another patron.

Beyond Sal's incredible hospitality, the atmosphere of the pub itself was top-notch. The decor was authentic and charming. The food and drinks were delicious, with a wide selection of both traditional Irish fare and modern pub favorites.

All in all, I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and above all, exceptional hospitality. If you're lucky enough to visit, be sure to say hello to Sal - he truly is the heart and soul of this incredible establishment. Five stars, without a doubt!

This place is very much an after work experience for most people because of its sports bar atmosphere. I like to come for lunch because it's close and very clean. The service can be very slow, especially at lunchtime, but the waiters and waitresses are very courteous and friendly. The food is really delicious, and you get nice portions for the dollar amount. My favorite chicken wings, sliders, and calamari, but their menu is amazing. It can get crowded after work, especially on the weekends and holidays, so that should speak for itself.

Nice spot, the outdoor seating is right next to the sidewalk. The design is great, you are cut off and higher then the people on the side walk so you can enjoy the view and not be bothers by random people in the side walk.

Came here with my partner last night for the first time for a bite to eat and some drinks. The bartender working was very friendly and provided awesome service. We split the grilled chicken club with a side salad and holy cow it was so delicious that we asked for a second one to take home with us!

Wednesday wings, wine, and whiskey deals. Great vibe. Comfy booths.

They have a little library near the mantel. Boom. 5 stars.

I first came here with a couple of co-workers. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. We didn't feel rushed or forgotten. The following week I met my husband here after work for pre-movie drinks and appetizers. I got the carne asada fries both times. Definitely a highlight. My husband and I also ordered the Irish nachos and were disappointed that there was hardly any meat or toppings. Delicious but we probably won't order it again. Our waiter/bartender was amazing - just the right amount of friendly. There were several televisions around but they weren't loud. My husband has hearing aids and it's hard to find a quiet place where he can hear me well. It's between my work and Alamo Drafthouse and we'll be back. I'll order a dinner plate next time and let you know how it is.

Surprisely good food. Great music. Very good service. Not a singles bar but I was not looking for a date.

Nice and New. Food took a while to come out but when it did it was worth the wait. Prices are reasonable. Ordered the fish and chips while the others had a burger and Salmon. Decor was rustic and there was not many people there but the restaurant barely opened when we arrived. Recommend this place and they also have happy hour.

I love this place, the environment is so friendly and the staff are so professional! I usually come here to relax after a busy at work. The bar is huge with great drink selection the bartender Dee she’s friendly and serves the best drinks! I will recommend this place to everybody!! I loved the food and look of this eatery. It is a sexy atmosphere place for casual to sexy attire with a good size bar and tables as you enter in and more dining further inside with great lighting.

Very chill bar. The outside patio is nice at night with the heaters and TVs. Drinks are well made and prices are decent, about 15 beers on tap and plenty of variety in bottles. I wish more people would come in for the football games though, they play all the games but not much traffic.

This place is great! Was looking for a pub in DTLA & it didn't disappoint; The Bartender , Stacia, was on point with service and drinks; The JUSTA5IVE BAND was rockin; and the food was great; and most of all the prices didn't hurt my wallet! Great spot Downtown for watching UFC. Good food and great service with lots of TVs around the perimeter. Teresa was wonderful and the others were helpful too.

By far my favourite bar in DTLA. Bar staff are the friendliest you'll find anywhere in the world and I've been around a lot. Visited for the best part of a year. Sadly my time in LA is at an end and I'll miss the bar, the staff and my fellow drinkers.

Great atmosphere and a nice outside area. Drinks abd food are also good. We love to watch FC Barcelona matches here with The Penya.
