This place is nice. I had the Spicy Ramen. It was the right amount of spice with lots of flavor. It was delicious. I will gladly drive from San Diego to the place again.

Picky Asian LOVES the taste here! I tried lots of Ramen places, but hands down for this place! RECOMMENDED!

- Parking: Meter parking and valet parking with validation for $5
- Price: average $15-18/bowl. We got spicy and non-spicy tonkatsu ramen, and fried chicken here is a must (so yummy, fresh, and tasty; not too dry, not too soft, just right). Personally, the bowl was big, so I took it to go, and still good to eat at home! Def will be back!

We came around noon, so it wasn't busy, no waiting. RSVP is needed and also waiting list with the kiosk in the front during peak time.

Vax card and ID will be checked!

Came back after a year and ordered Truffle & Cajun Ramen! Still on point 🔥

8/10. For starts we got the crispy chicken karaage and the gyoza fried 🥟. Both were really crispy. Definitely recommend the chicken over both. We got the garlic truffle ramen and the blaze (spicy) ramen 🍜. My bfs favorite thing about the garlic ramen was the thickness of the noodles, but liked the spicy broth better. We got chicken in both bowls and it was pretty good. I think there was some flavor profiles missing in both.

2021.12-26/SUN_1200: Still the same after all these years and after many locations have opened! Their food quality, ambiance and staff is still excellent. We were greeted with a smile, seated quickly and our server was great. She was really nice. The ambiance is excellent because the staff is so kind, attentive and they always play great music!

We had the Pork Buns, Chicken Karage and Tsukemen Ramen and Nigori. Delicous. Nothing has changed. We started visiting this place since 2013. Throughout the years, we would visit and the food quality, prices, and customer service is consistent. There has never been a time when neither was lacking.

Their Pork Buns are still soft and succulent. The Chicken Karage is still lightly crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth delicious like the Pork Buns. Our favorite is always the Cold Dipping Noodles, Tsukemen Ramen. The broth is rich in flavor and creamy in texture. I was so full and still wanted to continue eating - it's worth the food coma! Always a favorite and we'll be back again. Silverlake Ramen is hands down, still the best ramen in LA for us!

2021.03-14/1130.SUN: We haven't been here in years and this was our first ramen spot I was taken to when I moved to LA. HOLY MOLY. IT'S STILL FIRE.

It was the consistency that we fell in love with - from customer service, the food and affordability, you can't beat it. Our food server, Isaac, who looked like Kakashi Hatake, was awesome as usual. He was super nice and attentive. He took good care of us.

The food is incredible. The best ramen in Los Angeles. Their Tsukeman Ramen broth is out of this world. No doubt. Hands down. Deliciousness. Their Chicken Karage was light and crispy and not dry and overcooked. It's been a little while since I've been here and it seems the breading is much lighter. The pork belly bun was still delicious, too. It melted in my mouth. The bun is perfect but the pork belly...no words. It's always cooked to perfection. Lightly crispy on the outside, soft and gelatinous on the inside. When it came out with our Tsukamen Ramen, it was over. Heaven in your mouth, we guarantee it. We've been other places and their broth is nothing like this.

It's good to know that there has been no decline in their quality and customer service after all these years. We always love the drive out this way to support excellent local business owners. Heck, we're SO happy they didn't shut down permanently due to COVID.

This will always stay our #1! ❤

Two years earlier:
We haven't been here in a few years and it's still amazing! We always try and get there at 11 before it really fills up and be plus we have time to find parking! You will wait in line! My favorite is the Tsukemen ramen! The broth is rich and the flavor is to die for! The only reason why I treat myself every once in a while! My drive is ALWAYS worth the wait! I'm kinda glad I do live far away otherwise they would see me practically everyday!

OMG their spicy creamy broth and their garlic truffle broth were just INCREDIBLE. You have to eat it to believe it! They have a Yelp waitlist that really helps plan your visit (there’s usually a waiting time of 2 hours) The Karaage was also really good. The portions are huge so if you really thinking about maybe you can share one and add extra meat - the pork slices were just melt in your mouth awesome - else you can just get some takeout boxes 😂 This was the perfect ending to our long PCH trip and we can’t wait to get back to Seattle and visit again.

The best Staff!! The best lunch special! If a big ol bowl of ramen is too much, you can instead have a medium size bowl with a starter and a rice bowl all for less than $15!! I love this place! Their playlist is on point

Friendly and quick service!

Ramen had a clean taste (taddddd bit on the salty side) and noodles had right amount of chew. Good portion size.

Only one unisex bathroom. Street parking close by and valet parking available.

Delicious ramen. Great karaage and gyoza sides. And awesome customer service. Pricing is fair for the portions offered. There is valet parking right outside. Try it when around Silver Lake area!

Been to most all the popular ramen shops across LA. Silverlake Ramen is still my favorite in this city. Don’t know how to put it eloquently but just to say their broth is amazing. Rich, but not fatty. Deep, but not too savory. There are still a handful of ramen shops that I think are better (of course in Tokyo and Kyoto) but here in sunny side LA it’s my favorite place to fix my ramen craving. Love the lunch combo with the small side bowls.

A smaller ramen shop with a thick, rich broth and it's filled with umami!

Went here with my family after visiting the Griffith observatory. We were starving and had the hankering for some ramen. We got the regular ramen, spicy ramen, karaage chicken, pork bun, gyoza and a salad..... Yup. A salad.

The ramen was delicious. The broth was thick and rich. The noodles were pretty good but nothing to special. The pork was so soft and tender that my wife and oldest reached about it. Lol.

The karaage chicken was so tender, juicy and flavorful. I would recommend eating it without the dipping sauce so the flavor isn't masked.

The pork bun had large spices of pork and was delicious per my wife. She wouldn't share it with me. 😞

The gyoza was crispy and tasty. Definitely played fourth fiddle to the other dishes.

The salad was ok. It was salad. Enough said

Definitely recommend this ramen joint of you're in the area.

This place has the best Ramen. I came here on a rainy day for lunch, they have a lunch special it was priced decently and came with an appetizer and bowl of ramen and rice with a topping. Everything was super delicious. Parking can be kinda tricky... Most places are in LA. The place is not very large so I wouldn't recommend going with more that 4 people.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! The ramen, especially The Blaze is tastier than other ramen I’ve had in the area. The Chicken karaage is good as crispier than expected. Will definitely be coming back here again soon!

I know it’s small but this is where it all started. The service is great because they want you in and out with a smile on your face. Valet @$7 is worth it; Don’t hesitate. Bigger bowl and more protein than most. Stop reading this and just go…

The best Ramen! Their broth is the best. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu with pork belly. They offer a great lunch menu everyday. Good vegetarian options. I'm craving it again just by thinking about it. Definitely a must go to every time I'm by the area -my favorite Ramen spot.
