Jose Rodriguez is the man! Great cashier service and so friendly. Made my night with his humor and cheer during a normal shopping chore. Fairly clean and organized Vons, although a bit smaller in volume so a little less product variety is offered. Plenty of parking and a good place for quick in and out grab and go ingredients.

Jefferson is an amazing employee who went out of his way to get us our vegan hot dogs!! Went to Vons to get some vegan hot dogs upon arrival was surprised to see the store doing a change in the deli section. We asked about 3 employees for directions on where they had moved the vegan deli with no much help. Upon asking Jefferson he not only stopped what he was doing but he went out of his way to go back and get us our hot dogs!! Thank you so much Jefferson you made our day!! Give Jefferson a raise!!

A cashier by the name of Marc just told me about a coupon and saved me $14 while he was scanning my items. That’s customer service and that’s why I’ll keep returning to this location!

I was in downtown LA for jury duty and stopped here before heading to the court to grab something to eat. I didn’t see sushi and didn’t have enough time to spare, so I grabbed something out of the ready-to-go food counter: croissant with tuna salad inside. I did the job of filling up my stomach for the next 2-3 hours.
This is a smaller Vons, but you will probably still find anything you seek.

Recent upgrades have helped a lot. Most of the staff is very nice and helpful. The only issue is that it's not as big as many other Vons stores. It has that neighborhood feeling, but not as much selection.

Great place to get a deli sandwich - the fellow there did a great job! The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable with a good selection, except chips! They just offer a limited variety on aisle ends...

The cashiers are always pleasant and helpful, although at times it is difficult to find someone to assist you when trying to locate items in store.

They have a huge selection of everything. The produce here looks delicious.

I have been shopping for some time and it's clean and really easy to find what you need , also the staff is really friendly and they help you all the time

I loved it but I can't afford it. Everything is overpricedI can't say much good about a store that overprices everything . I spent 123,, 00 and left wth only four bags of food and essentials. Every thing is marked up for the non member and a discount is given for a member. It's kind of unfair to be penalized with higher prices if you don't want your personal information and your spending habits in their data base. All that for a dollar of savings. I understand Vons has a profit margin to maintain.Then I realized, my neighbors had become so wealthy I could not keep up with them. I am become the marginalized .How sad Forgive me for complaining .I must go deeper into down town to find "where I belong" affordable prices. I'm happy for you Echo Park . This is my hometown I wish the best for you . Live long and prosper. Good bye for the moment. The store is like heaven on earth. Fresh fruits and vegetables,Fresh cooked chicken, a great selection of everything salads, pasta and seafood. Great selection of everything . Wells Fargo ATM, plenty of parking for the handicapped, well kept parking lot plenty of parking. Oh they still have self serve checkout which I liked. Friendly Staff are eager to help. If your water bottles outside at their Water purifying machines.

My favorite grocery store in LA. Love this Vons! It’s small enough to be quick to get in/out of, but very well stocked. Everyone working there is great - very friendly and efficient. I just moved out of LA and miss this store already.

A very clean and well-organized supermarket. Visited for the first time yesterday and was very happy to have done so. Ample parking, security guard present, well-stocked shelves, friendly and helpful staff, together with a just-cleaned feeling throughout the store. I'll be back.

I've been going here for over 10 years, that includes me moving away over 10 miles and a Vons being about 2 miles from me.
This one has that friendly touch where I don't even want to try another location, lol.
Seriously, always friendly staff: from the staff gathering carts in the parking lot, to the security guard and anyone in between.
Always a great selection: vegan, vegetarian, regular brands, local, gluten free, you name it they probably have it.

What can I say i love this store, they have great deals on their grocery, produce, bakery, and a deli. I take advantage of the vons club perks makes it easy, just sign up to their vons club for free, digitally clip coupons, earn points every time you shop, and redeem. Don't forget 5 dollar Fridays, hope this helps.

Love the security guard. The staff is nice. They don't sell baked goods here, except for bagels. So no donuts or cakes. Keep that in mind. And the deli is very limited. This by far is the smallest Vons/Safeway I have ever been to.

Great place to do your grocery shopping. Staff is efficient and professional. I love the fresh fruits and vegetables. I also ordered some fresh flowers from the horticultural area and the staff member was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had an issue that was resolved by management and staff...great job! Come enjoy the experience!

Workers are very kind and shelves are usually full. Easy to navigate. Big parking lot! Has a Starbucks inside.

Very clean, updated, nice upscale Vons. Very well stocked and a great selection. I couldn't believe the size of the wine and liquor section. There were lots of good deals. After the instant coupons, our bill was half the full price. Unbelievable! Lots of parking. Lots of ways in and out of the lot. Onsite Wells Fargo.

Update: I did have one bad experience with an employee at self-checkout. I politely asked her for a bag before scanning my groceries (I like to bag as I scan). She refused and stood over me as I scanned. When I scanned the last item she reached over me to press "Finish and Pay" to prompt the "how many bags did you buy today" screen. I told her that I didn't need her doing all of that for me over a $.10 bag. I didn't ask for help, I simply needed a bag. She did this while ignoring every other customer in self-checkout.

I don't know her reasoning. Maybe she has a preconceived notion from the media about a certain group of people. Who knows. 🤷🏾‍♀

Vons, please train your staff about these unpleasant interactions. It's unfortunate and uncomfortable.
