This was such a cool hangout! We came in a large group and they were so accommodating and kind. I ordered the Onyx Vanilla latte. It was delicious!!

I'm travel for work and pleasure and I'm always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, it's rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, I've found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you don't believe me, then try them out.

I had my party here and it was perfect. The staff is very professional and accommodating. I love coming here for meetings and to get work done throughout the week. The music is always a vibe and they give black owned businesses a great reputation.

During a recent trip back to my hometown of Inglewood, CA, I was delighted to stumble upon Sip & Sonder, a charming and cozy coffee shop in the heart of downtown. As a black-owned business, it felt special to support a local establishment contributing positively to the community.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance of Sip & Sonder enveloped me in warmth and comfort. The shop has a uniquely inviting atmosphere, with decor that makes it the perfect spot for both relaxation and productivity. What really stood out was their excellent taste in music, creating a background ambiance that was both energizing and soothing.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the caramel latte. It was expertly crafted, with the perfect balance of rich coffee and sweet caramel, making every sip a delightful experience. Alongside the latte, I indulged in a variety of their baked goods. Each item was a delightful treat, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying my sweet tooth.

Sip & Sonder is not just a coffee shop; it’s a wonderful experience that combines great flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and a sense of community. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone in or visiting Inglewood, and I look forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their delicious offerings.

I really love this place!! What a gem to have in our community. The service is excellent and the baristas are so professional. The prices are reasonable, pastries are delicious (cream cheese danish, coffee cake… yummm). I also really love the vibe and atmosphere. I definitely recommend coming here and supporting this business.

Such a cool mellow vibe with table or lounge seating. Good strong coffee and varietal specialties and good sandwiches. Staff is excellent

Excellent place, super clean and well thought out. Great energy in the building and space, the green plants make the environment seem alive with positivity! The owner is a specter of good health and has a awesome vibe that is welcoming, also the staff are knowledgeable and talented. These people care about people and coffee!

Warmed my heart this morning with a sweet potato croissant and a large cup of coffee. The woman behind the counter had that "elevated soul" energy which made it a blessing just to be there.

I love to try new coffee spots and try new things. It was good. I believe it's black own, so that is another plus for me. Happy I stopped by.

Best coffee I’ve had in a while! I just got a plain latte and this is the first place in while that I’ve found to actually froth the milk correctly. It was so smooth and creamy and the espresso was very prominent. Would definitely recommend.

Great drinks and a great vegan selection. The service is fantastic and it is so comfortable here.

Came here today on a humbug, and I'm so glad I did. The ambiance is so nice and the setting is pleasant. I met the owner and she's such a beautiful person, and her spirit is GREAT...Black owned so please go check it OUT!!!!

I discovered this place on a morning walk down Market Street. The iced mocha coffee I ordered was rich and frothy. The place has tons of seating and mellow tunes inviting you to hang out and enjoy your drink. Hidden gem.

Visiting the area and in search of good coffee. Loved the fact that its Black-owned/Women-Owned business. Barista was warm and friendly, overall great vibes. Alot bigger than I expected with cool music to chill to, while I waited. My coffee was rich, smooth and made well.

I'm currently staying with a buddy in the area and was encouraged to check this place out for some morning coffee. First and foremost, it's a black owned business, so I was already a fan from the start. When you walk in, there's a smooth comfortable feeling you get. The music is soulful and the staff are pleasant. There's plenty of seating spaces. The best part about this cafe are the prices. I ordered a pour over coffee which only cost me $3.50 plus tip (you should always tip 😄)
Coming from the Bay Area, this was amazing. Finally, they brew their own coffee and the coffee itself tasted rather calming. It wasn't harsh and had a refreshing twist on it. All in all I really enjoyed my experience.

Delicious coffee and cosy atmosphere at this coffee shop. Drove 10 mins from our hotel each day to buy coffee here as it was so good. As an Aussie coffee snob it’s one of the better places and definitely worth a visit.

Best latte I've ever had. I don't know what they put in it but it's delicious. Minus the loud music this would be my go to spot for catching up on some reading. It's not even the genre but it's just too darn loud.

Very casual and quaint. The barrister thought the coffee might need to be freshened up. She tasted it and confirmed that she needed to make a fresh brew. “Six minutes” she said. So I got to relax. Very nice.

Ambiance: This place is a lot bigger than i assumed just by judging from the outside. But inside is open with a great amount of seating both inside and out, which I loved. Seems like a good place to get some work done on a weekend, no obnoxious music blasting over the speaker...

Service: When there are too many options, I have a lot of questions. The people behind the counter were so good, helping weigh the pros and cons of my snack and drink choice. Not just the cashier, but everyone helped me. Lol

Food: I got the Iced Chai Latte with the chocolate chip cookie. They were both really good! Chai was silky and light. The cookie was warm and gooey. I have no complaints at all.

Great little spot in downtown Inglewood. It is a good place to go have coffee and work remotely. Saw a few people having meetings as well. They have a plethora of options for your caffeine fix as well as some baked goods. Returned on 9/24/23 and it's still absolutely lovely.
