Target

I eagerly awaited the opening of this Target for a long, long time and am glad it finally opened (it's much more convenient than going to the one on Century for me). It is a smaller store, much closer in size and scope to a CityTarget than a regular big box store, so expectations should be kept in check; that being said they have a great variety of products to choose from, so easily about 90% of anything I would need I can get from this location. The staff are always nice and accommodating, and outside of some growing pains for a brand new store, I haven't had any negative experiences.

I see some people complaining about many of the toiletries and hygiene products being locked up, but it begs the question of whether or not they've ever been to other Targets. While the degree to which this is present at this location is greater than others, it's not at all unusual for items to be held at the front of the store until you are done shopping. This is not something I would consider untoward or unusual, but I can imagine how if it's your first time encountering this practice it can feel a tad weird. Any time I've had to call for assistance has resulted in a quick response, so it's not at all bad.

The Starbucks crew are all nice and friendly people, a few of whom seem to me to be new baristas, which again is fine, growing pains and all. I do like to stop by whenever I visit if I can! There is a CVS pharmacy in this location (which, funnily enough, is across the street from a full big box CVS store), but I haven't tried it out or been there, so I cannot speak to it, though I'm sure it's fine.

Ultimately, this store is a great addition to the neighborhood, and its proximity to transit (two major thoroughfares and the Downtown Inglewood Station on the K Line as well as the upcoming Inglewood People Mover between said K Line station and the Intuit Dome) make it very, very convenient to get to. Parking is free for the first hour and $2.50 for every 15 minutes thereafter (though importantly, a lost ticket is a whopping $50), so there's little reason not to stop by and give it a go.

All the baristas from the starbucks were super friendly, but one barista (autum) was super nice and reccomended a new drink to try! Will be coming back here again!

Extremely organized, clean and stocked. Was pleasantly surprised how polite and helpful where the staff. Right near Downtown Inglewood Station (K LINE CRENSHAW TRAIN)

The neighborhood Target. It a few item of this and few items of that! I was greeted at the door. The store is stocked. The association’s are will to help. This store is clean with a in-store Starbucks☕. There are five self checkout and three cashier. The parking is a garage free the first hour. There after is an additional fee each 15 minutes. You can order ahead and pick up your order in this store.

Parking garage was not accessible tonight. It’s a big is PROBLEM! The parking garage ticket machine was not allowing the arm to raise so vehicle’s could enter the parking up to allow access? I asked Target security about the parking garage which is the only place to park and where the entrance of the store is located. Target Security man told me that the parking garage is the responsibility of the Apartment management company located above the target store and there was nothing he could do to help anyone about vehicles not having access to the parking garage? He said and that target customers just had to find a place to park on the street?

OK so I previously wrote a bad review because that's how it was when I visited this target location but today I gave it another chance and wow things got better.

Hours are M-F 7a to 10p, Sat-Sun 8a to 10p.
Parking garage is free first hour, $2.50 per 15 MINUTES after that, maximum $50 per day. In other words, DO NOT park for the day here.

It’s an okay Target, smaller with limited items, and thankfully so far I haven’t had to buy anything locked up in a case.

The store has the essentials. Just a hassle that everything is behind locked cabinets. But it’s understandable with all the shoplifting happening around. Only one hour of free parking. Close to metro stop.

Nice target if you need something quick. Horrible parking lot. The machine didn't give tickets and now everyone has to call the operator on the machine to get out. 😮‍💨

Disappointed with some cashier customer service. I been here a couple of time and most of the time is the same way. Inglewwod Target I expected better especially in our community! Overall the store is cute clean

This is the worst Target I have ever experienced, options are extremely limited. Terrible customer service. It feels like it's just a small market store, not a Target. Definitely don't recommend shopping at this one. It's awful.

I already reviewed on yelp but I do not suggest shopping here. They lock things up and bring them to the front to have them wait for you - I’ve never seen this in other targets for items that cost $2-$5.

Why come to the community if you’re treating everyone like a flight risk? The managers on duty I found to be pretty useless when it came to trying to gather detail regarding this loss prevention policy they have in place for the target in the black neighborhood. Oh well, I won’t be coming back.

First of all the parking is free for 1 hour, after that is $2.50 every 15 minutes. The store is small. They have many items locked up. You have to wait at least 4 minutes for a team member to help you. With any locked up items. The prices for items are super high. I say $3 to $4 more than other Targets. You have to wait for a team member to open the bathroom for you. And there is only two of them anyway.

Almost everything is locked up, from deodorant to razors. I have to call an employee for each row and case. What I thought was weird, is a lotion I use by CeraVe that is $20 was not locked up. Once an employee retrieves your item from a case, they have to take it to the front of the store. Good luck, I hope you remember all the items you sent to the front. If they don’t, it’ll stay right there, because all the items are mixed up. If you get an item from the many cases you can forget about using self checkout. This is too time consuming if you have a lot of things to get or you’re in a hurry. I live within walking distance and refuse to shop there because of this.

The employees are wonderful and extremely helpful!

This Target should think about another way to stop theft without making it difficult to shop. Perhaps have employees standing near the isles so they can quickly unlock the cases. They should have a cart with customer’s names, and add all the case items to the cart cubby so the cashier at the front isn’t searching for ALL the items that had to be unlocked and taken to the front (separately).
