I recently booked a private wine tasting experience, and it was an absolute delight. The service was impeccable, with a knowledgeable sommelier guiding us through a curated selection of wines. The quality of the wines was superb, and we discovered some real hidden gems. While the price was a bit higher than standard group tastings, the personalized experience and the exquisite quality made it worth every penny. It was a memorable and luxurious journey into the world of fine wines.

Ask for Harry. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and has the best recommendations. No question it's the only spot I shop at in the neighborhood. Thanks to Harry and the staff, it's a welcoming spot and it has everything you need.

This place has everything, but why I come here and nowhere else’s (which I could), is the customer service. Harry (manager) and another worker (afternoon/late night shift) makes the place a landmark. Great job to both of you guys!

Jason’s Silverlake is the BEST for any party planning or entertaining needs. They carry an incredible selection of craft beer, spirits and wine (great pricing on all items too). The customer service is above and beyond! Harry (the kindest manager) will even support gifting needs to clients during holidays w/ rare and boutique whiskeys, purchased in bulk. I loathed walking in this location before due to a creepy owner and since Jason’s took over it has a welcoming, well lit vibe and superb selection.

The best place to get rare champagnes and spirits. Definitely recommending this place! 10/10

I love the Silver Lake location! Harry's always up for a chit-chat and help with purchases. They always have what I'm looking for and I'm so happy this gem's in my neighborhood.

Wonderful neighborhood liquor store with friendly service ALWAYS from Harry. He always gives excellent recommendations. While some places (7-11?) might be cheaper, you cannot beat friendly, knowledgeable service and someone knowing you when you walk in the door (cue Cheers theme song).
This is value, along with high quality spirits and that makes this place the go-to.

Let's face it, we've all gotten to know our neighborhood liquor store owner a little bit better during the pandemic, but few can boast of knowing one as cool as Hary at Jason's Spirits in Silver Lake. I think I've had a conversation with him literally every day these last couple years, with exception of a few trips here and there He always lends me his ear during both the brightest and darkest times and gives great recommendations on the best, latest, and freshest craft beers. Amazing selection, immaculate store. Jason's Spirits of Silver Lake is that neighborhood liquor store, "Where everybody knows your name".

Just moved to silver lake from out of state and Harry was so genuine and welcoming. I immediately felt a sense of home and comfort at this local spot. Go in once and that will be your spot going forward, not to mention an amazing selection to choose from! It's the "Cheers" of liquor stores!

Great spot! Harry, the store manager, is an exceptional operator with customer service skills that go far and beyond what I’m sure is expected of him. It’s rare to get such a hospitable experience that borders on friendship in retail, and Harry has certainly exceeded the standard level of friendliness and professionalism. Couldn’t speak more highly of how he handles things there. Five stars!

This spot is legit! It was actually the namesake of the Silversun Pickups, although the name has now changed. They were selling out of my favorite spirit, so they started setting some aside just for me! How can you top that service?! Great area, great products, great prices! And one of the only ATMs in the neighborhood!

If you’re looking for an authentic Los Angeles experience look no where else than Jason’s wine and spirits. Best staff ever. Always stocked with what i need. Has those parking spots for quick liquor purchases. But most of all the friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back!!!! I’d give it 6 stars if I could

Newcastle is back! Best liquor store around. I go here daily. Staff here is super friendly and helpful.

This is my go-to convenience/liquor store in Silver Lake in large part because it’s run by Harry, a gem of the neighborhood. Always kind and thoughtful, he makes me look forward to popping in every time, whether for his great selection of alcohol, healthy energy drink options (kombucha, yerba matte etc) or whatever tasty lil snack grabs my attention that day. Harry offers helpful suggestions and welcomes feedback in equal measure. 10/10
