Update

Since my first visit I have returned multiple times and I mist say the place is growing on me. The coffee is actually pretty good and the pastry’s are pretty good as well and the service has been great so it is on fair to rerate them. Over experience has been great and that’s why I’m giving the 5 star.

I found this place on my search for the next great Latte, I discovered this place close to my daughter’s Gym.

The place looks really cool and hip so for sure a great hangout place to chill grab a Latte, some pastry to enjoy chilling or working. It’s big enough for a big groups which is nice.

I ordered a Lavender Latte and asked for it to be slightly less sweet. The coffee was okay defiantly not the best I have had and maybe one even the second choice level. For sure a 3rd choice. In my opinion it lacked flavor and the coffee is just not flavorful enough to taste the coffee in your drink. I like more of the full body espresso.

I asked for a recommendation for pastry and the guy suggested the banana loaf, which was again okay not the best I have had.

The service was okay just average. The Barista seemed a bit overwhelmed and was not in the best of moods. Overall the experience was Okay. I do understand that it being a new establishment things can be overwhelming and stressful.

Based on my experience and taste here is how I would rate this place. Technically it is some like a 3.5 but since it is closer to a 3 I am giving them a 3 rating. I will try them again and I may bumped them to a 4 if may experience is different. Please as always try it for your self as your experience maybe different.

Nice coffee shop located at Japan town. Coffee is great. $6.5 for a large size ice latte.

In A Nutshell:

-10 Speed Coffee on Sawtelle has some of the best drip coffee you will find.
-I love coffee, I love black drip coffee.
-I am not kidding when I say this place sells some really, great tasting & smooth coffee.
-The shop is conveniwntly located below The SW luxury apartments, so if you live in/around here you are lucky.

Overall, this place can get crowded w/ remote workers so I would advise coming early.

Nice new coffee shop in Sawtelle. I tried the cappuccino which was pretty good. The signature latte is flavored with oat milk and maple and is very tasty, although you won’t find it on the menu. Baked goods are also nice.

Latest 10 speed coffee and one of my favorites so far. Lots of tables to sit at inside and bike parking right in front. Great coffee and snacks. The bikes on the wall are my favorite part.

10speed coffee has become my go-to spot on Sawtelle The rich and robust flavors of their coffee create a delightful experience that perfectly complements the vibrant atmosphere of the area. The quality of their coffee is unmatched, and the commitment to sustainability is truly commendable.

I had a traditional macchiato in a mug and sat at a table inside. Good polite service. The roast tasted perfect to me and the macchiato was well-made. As good as those I’ve had in Italy. I enjoyed the colourful Italian bikes on the walls 🇮🇹

So happy to have another coffee shop on Sawtelle. Great coffee and good vibes. The baristas are always so friendly and very knowledgeable of their craft. There’s always ample seating and large tables for working.

We went here bright and early on a Saturday, the service was great. The vibe was great. They had pastries suitable for all dietary restrictions which we always love.

The coffee was great. And quick service. We are visiting LA looks like this is a chain, plan to go again!

My favorite coffee shop in Sawtelle. The staff is so kind and the oat milk lattes are amazing.

One of my fave neighborhood coffee spots. Friendly staff, good coffee, yummy food. Discovered they allow you to bring in your own reusable cups, but they also have their own beautiful, fun mugs and cups so we don't have to create more waste with paper cups. Highly recommend.

So glad to have 10 speed coffee in this area! I frequent their Calabasas location so was very happy to see that the West LA/Sawtelle location opened yesterday! Great, friendly baristas. I enjoyed my latte and guava croissant. The space is large and open and very clean. Plenty of large tables, convenient for working. I love the French doors that they keep open for some air.

Absolutely amazing! From the highly attentive baristas to the atmosphere, this place has it all! I order the latte with a prosciutto sandwich and it was phenomenal. This will absolutely turn into my regular coffee spot!

They have paleo sweets :-D!! Stopped in here last week just to grab some water, ended up walking out with a coffee, baked paleo protein bites, chocolate paleo donut, breakfast sandwich and a CBD drink! Great selection of healthy snacks, great coffee. All seating was occupied around lunchtime but they have a couple of benches outside too. Will def be back for those paleo goodies!

Ah new coffee shop in Sawtelle!

Walked in on a weekday afternoon. Place looked very new and kinda "fancy". Lots of open space with about 8 tables in total. Most tables were occupied with folks on their laptops - seemed like a pretty decent place to get work done, though finding an open table might be hard.

I got a cup of the single origin coffee, and a kouign Amman. The coffee was very good and the kouign Amman was fantastic - the wife and I were discussing how we hadn't had such a good one in years. Highly recommend picking one up, if they have it available.

Folks working there were very friendly. The kouign Amman was actually recommended by the person at the counter.

Prices were pretty typical for the area. Around $5 for the cup and about the same for the pastry.

Would recommend!
