Louis is the place I've gone to get my hair cut for years. Fast, affordable, and please t without being overbearing in conversation. My son and I always get our haircuts there.

Mr. Lou has styled both of my grandsons now. He has a way with barber newbies. He had quite a selection of books and mentions reward candy early in the game! As wiggly as my boys are, when Mr. Lou holds their heads they mold to his will without a whimper. They were so under his spell that it shocked them when he used the hair dryer to blow away the fairy dust! Maybe he could warn them a bit.

Mr. Lou gave each of them a great "fade" and one of them a "hard part." Parents and YaYa were completely pleased with results. He charged only $14 and it took maybe 30 min. All in all, this is the place to go!

Lou and his son Tommy run a first class barber shop. Both know how to give a good, even, quick cut at a good price ($13). They rarely have a wait and, if they do, it’s not long. The shop itself is not fancy but it is an old space that has a lot of charm. I tried a few places when I first moved to Tacoma before setting on Lou’s.

Consistent, affordable, professional style haircuts that you will appreciate and keep you coming back. Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Walk-in service, clean indoor/outdoor waiting area with A/C. Easy curbside parking and access. Prompt courteous service with excellent results…clean and accommodating businesses to match. I highly recommend this business.

I have dreadlock clients who go here for buzzes on their sides and underneath and love how care is taken to preserve the dreadlock anchors. Love the friendliness of staff and clean and inviting surroundings. Ease of parking and groovy sweet neighborhood also a bonus.

It's pretty inexpensive and there is hardly ever a wait.

Lou's son is always going above and beyond. Even when I'm finished and paying he will still cut strands of hair he finds on top of my head to make sure it's good. So I appreciate that level of commitment and recommend highly everyone go here.

Attention to detail!

Saw they shop while driving by and decided to stop in. Mr Lou was very friendly and gave me an excellent hair cut. I have a cowlick that wouldn’t cooperate, by he spent extra time getting it to look just right. What a cool shop, the place reminded me of a barber shop from the movies. Because of covid , there were people lining up outside the small shop so he must have lots of satisfied customers!

I've been going to this barber shop for over 20 years. The owner is a consistent barber with an eye for detail and a memory for names and faces. His son works with him and is an even better barber. If you want to support the troops, Lou served in the Vietnam war and specializes in army haircuts.

I take my little nephew. The clientele tends to be quite style savy, I've noticed. Any hair cut I find a picture of, they can masterfully sculpt. They don't cut corners tho, it's always looked great while growing out. He loves being vacuumed at the end. And the wait time is short, with plenty of entertainment for his insatiable curiosity. I highly recommend Louis'!

Lou's is great! Father/son combo with two chairs. Was looking for a place for a quality inexpensive men's cut and found it here ($14). I go on Saturdays and never wait more than a few minutes. No reservation necessary.

I was looking for a new barber around Stadium area so did some googling and saw Lou's was close so decided to give them a try. Went in on a Thursday afternoon and met my new barber Tom.
I had an idea how I would like my haircut but haven't had any luck since my old barber passed away a few years ago, well I'm 63 and Tom is much younger but he nailed it on my first visit, he is a spectacular barber and my haircut turned out perfect, I couldn't have been happier.
Tom even helped me get his phone and text numbers in my cell since I didn't have my glasses, now that's a really great guy.
It's a really nice shop, great barber, I couldn't have asked for any place nicer, You won't go wrong at Lou's.
