Franklin's Ace Hardware

I've shopped here many times and always get the best service. They go out of their way to make their customers happy.
Today I called ahead asking that the clear vinyl I was buying be wrapped so not to get waterspots on it from the rain. They did a nice job. Rolled the vinyl nicely and didn't bend or crease it. Hats off to Jeff and Mike!

I always experience great service here, never have to search for someone to help me out, and the associates are all super friendly and knowledgable. I prefer this over the big box stores. Such a nice Neighborhood place!

Ace is the place, always someone knowledgeable and each store unique and tailored to the surrounding neighborhood.

Great Screen repair and custom. Also lazer knife sharpener. Very good customer service.

My favorite place for hardware. For a small space they have a surprising amount of supplies and tools. They also make keys, cut glass and sharpen knives. Knowledgable and helpful staff. Very easy to find someone to help or answer questions - and the staff actually know a lot about home repair. The antidote to Home Depot where it takes 20 minutes to find someone to answer a question - if they even know the answer.

I needed a Tapping tool for a device where I had stripped the screw holes. I walked in and talked to Enrique who obtained the proper Tapping tool for me. I showed him the device that needed repair and asked him if he thought it was repairable and then asked him how I would be sure that I was perfectly straight when retapping the hole. He said that there is an additional tool to buy. Then he led me to a different part of the store, where I assumed he would get the additional part. I waited for about 5 minutes and when he came back he had actually done the re Tapping job himself and wouldn't accept any payment from me. I am so incredibly grateful, since I know the job would have been very difficult for me and I likely would have messed it up. Thank you Enrique!!!! You are the best!!!

The entire staff is very friendly. I go there instead of the big box stores. Thank you so much for all your assistance.
Went back again this morning and Enrique helped me get the tools to refurbish a swing set for our grand daughter. Please give them a try before going somewhere else. Thanks again Enrique.

We just moved in up the street from Franklin's. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I did't want to make another trip to Home Depot to pick up a few simple items when I Googled hardware stores and this one popped up. I went in, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly and helped me pick out the correct supplies. They don't have everything because they aren't as big as other stores but they have almost all you need for day to day jobs. Prices are extremely comparable, even to Amazon. I love knowing it's local, family owned and I actually enjoy going in and not having to look for someone to help me. Keep up the great work Franklin's!

I am not a regular reviewer, but felt compelled to do so due to good old fashion the way business is supposed to be done.

Was installing a bidet for my daughter and needed to adapt the valve -tee connection for the tight situation of how the toilet is situated. Unfortunately, went to the big orange hardware store, because it's close to my home. Went o the plumbing isle and couldn't get the parts together to make it work. So I walked the isles to see if I could get some help, guess what, there was nobody around, surprise, surprise. I finally asked to call someone to the area and was in shock that someone did show up. It didn't matter. The person was nice, but the attention span was limited as other people were clamoring for help. Without the solution, I left.

I was ready to call my daughter to tell her to forget the bidet. I figured I'd give it one last shot and remembered a previous visit to Franklin's when I need a special part, which of course they had. I called and got Steve on the phone. I told him my predicament and he said he knew exactly the situation. Unfortunately and surprised, he said they couldn't fulfill my need as they had limited parts to do so. My initial thought was, wow, that was negative. It really should've been, let's see what we can do , not sure it can be done, but we'll do our best. maybe he was looking out for me, not sure. I said can I just come in and show what I have to someone and he said sure.

I arrived and the person who greeted me at the door, looked at some parts I brought in with me and said go to isle 24, plumbing and I'll get someone to help you. In my book of how a customer experience is supposed to start, they were batting a 1000% so far. A gentlemen named Enrique came to help. He had a smile and an open ear to listen to what I was looking for and the solution I needed. I could see the wheels spinning as we were interacting/brainstorming. He was really getting into it, not giving up when one idea didn't work and trying another. The man was on a mission.

After several attempts, he had the solution. We were both so excited, we did an elbow bump. He was genuinely so happy he figured it out and was able to help me and be able to install the bidet. It was refreshing.

This is a business that I can tell prides itself on service. yeah, lots of places carry parts, but not a lot of places stock people like Enrique.

Next time, I'm going to Franklin's first. It may be a little further for me, but I now feel it's important to help places like that to still be here, places that care, with people that care.

The only suggestion is for Steve to be more positive with an attitude of come on in we're here to help. I'm glad I didn't listen to him as I was able to install the bidet and my daughter really appreciates it.

As a handyman, I spend most of my daily life at Homedepot and Lowe's, but what a pleasure it is to see the same products at the same prices, but with employees actually helping instead if hiding. It was also clean and organized! I'm definitely looking out to find more Ace stores whenever I can.

Very friendly, small hardware store but fully stocked. The staff is very welcoming, are operating super safe during this Pandemic disinfecting between customers, wearing gloves and masks. Overall I'm very satisfied with their service.

They have just about everything thing you can thinkP of at a hardware store. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. This is the place to go to when you can't find what you are looking for at other places.

If the whole world functioned like Franklin's Hardware it would be a better place to live. The people are warm, thoughtful, knowledgeable, respectful and willing to do their best to help. The stock contains many items that can't be found in superstores. My wife and I have been customers for years and always mention to each other what a great neighborhood experience it is whenever one of us has gone there to find hardware.

I needed to get a screen (re screened). This is the best place by far. I had a time constraint and Harry & Jack accommodated to my needs. Superior service, great pricing, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Employees actually help you. If you've been to other big box hardware stores you know how rare it is to find helpful people. Had a great first experience there.

I was born and raised in The Valley but have just recently moved to Woodland Hills from Studio City. Went into Franklin's Hardware for the first time yesterday and couldn't be happier to have such a great local hardware store.
Chip was a great help at helping me find parts and as a bonus come up with a great plan for my plumbing issue. Had a great conversation with Kim (part of the family of owners) and I couldn't have felt more welcomed to the neighborhood!

Not only will I be back but I am literally on my way out the door to go buy a a new pruning saw 👍😁

Franklin's Hardware is amazing. They have everything. I don't know how they do it for a medium size store. Hardware, plumbing electrical, paint, tools, gardening, supplies, etc. And their people who know the inventory and are happy to help.

As a professional meat cutter this is the only place I will take my knives to be re-edged. The cost is nothing compared to replacing professional cutlery. The service and staff are always knowledgeable and helpful

I came in to get a new track for my sliding screen door eventually the 3 employees came around to try to figure out what to order. I felt will taking care of. You can always count on the store find somebody with some expertise and some area whether be plumbing electric doors paint hardware
