I've been coming here for sometime, finally found the poke spot I call home; they seek to provide Hawaiian flavors and preparations, but keep it California with customizations to fit their customers' needs. The owner makes sure that not only the fish is quality, but also all the toppings that make their bowls. The sauces, especially are a passion project where the chef gets a chance to explore different flavor combinations and profiles to keep me coming back for more. And I will!

Delicious poke, and great service! The portions are also perfect, these were the small size bowls. Love that you can customize it just how you want! My mom even made hers more “Mexican style” with spicy crab and tortilla chips!

When I first walked in with my cousin, the staff was very nice and helpful with walking us through the ordering process and left us with a really good impression. The ambiance of the establishment itself was also really down to earth with it's whole design and music playing in the background. The poke bowl itself was also well served with the choice of 3 or 5 proteins and a wide variety of things to add into the bowl.

I recommend this place 100% new and improved very good quality food very fresh workers are very friendly good attitude and they give good recommendations for your food and feel free to ask any recommendations also very clean and organize one more time 100% recommended

Been coming to Grindz since before the rebranding. Glad to see that nothing changes but the name. Consistent proper portions, reasonable prices, great tasting food and above all great service. Will continue coming back.

The owner fixed my plate, made me feel so welcome and engaged me in really great conversations… and the recommendations surpassed my usual order! I’m literally going back today!

Trying to eat healthy and enjoying what you eat can sometimes be difficult. However, this changed when I found Grindz (Oke Poke). They offer good source of protein and they even serve brown rice!

This is my go-to poke place locally. The standard, quality and portions are reliably consistent for decent value. Hopefully, they can control pricing for long-term future. Choice of toppings is good.

One of the best poke bowls I've had! Tastes great, lots of toppings, and the portion size is very generous. I'm an all-the-toppings sort of person - - a 3 protein scoop bowl will easily cover 2 meals.

I'm so glad there's not a location in South bay area, I'd go all the time!

(only criticism is that some of the fish in the bins didn't look that fresh. I got salmon because the salmon looked fine.)

We love this place for poke!! The service is usually fast and the food always tastes fresh. I used to not like ginger but I love getting it in my poke bowls here. They have it sliced relatively thin so the taste is not too overwhelming, but mixed with the rest of the bowl contents, it adds a nice refreshing touch.

This place is the best value poke joint. A regular bowl includes 3 scoops of your choice of protein and the other toppings are excellent. The only thing that would improve this place is if they offered kelp noodles. I've been twice and intend to be back often.

Good portion, other places do two scoops for regular and three for large this place does three for regular and five for large. Unheard of! They don't charge for avocado but they do charge for cream cheese. They got options here that will make you coming back for more to see how you can switch up something good for something same or better. Get yours!

Love Oke Poke! Been a few times now. This place offers good prices and big servings. Tonight they ran out of white rice, but the brown rice was a fine substitute for us. The staff has been great every time I've been. Morgan helped us tonight. She was knowledgeable and nice to talk to. Will be returning again!

Go see Etone at the best Poke spot in town. He does a great job making your food perfect.

Literally best poke place I’ve had besides Spinfish! They have great customer service, and the proportions of fish they give you is insane. I highly recommend ! I used to go to Poke Bar regularly but this place won my heart!

My favorite place for poke. The fish always tastes fresh, the toppings are always great, and the staff is always very nice and attentive. So glad to have a good place for poke in Monrovia!
