The Q | Fort Bragg

The Q was awesome! We showed up on a Wednesday evening for dinner, and the Q was quiet. The menu had endless delicious items that we wanted to try and a good beer selection. We had the blackened cod taco, macaroni and cheese, oysters, and fish and chips southern style. The staff were accommodating to all my menu questions and helped us out when we had questions about what to do in the area as tourists :)

Quintessential hole in the wall bbq joint. The menu is the standard affairs of pulled port, ribs, and chicken along with a good selection of sides.

The pulled port was flavorful and not overly dry. The slaw was also seasoned and paired well with the pulled pork.

The sides are sometimes the let down for bbq joints but not here. The Mac and Cheese was good along with their baked beans. Only mark against the sides was frozen onion rings that are run of the mill.

The staff was friendly and accommodating to make sure the order was right.

This was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had. And their BBQ sauces are delicious. I didn’t get the man’s name but he was very kind, and the service was great, and the food didn’t take long. My boyfriend got the ribs, which were also delicious. We really liked the location of the restaurant, and enjoyed their outdoor seating. I highly recommend this place for your BBQ favorites!

The Place is like all good BBQ joints. It looks shabby on the outside but the food is amazing. The brisket melted and the rib meat just fell off the bone.

Only down side is it’s bottled beer and not on the tap.

Rib combo with brisket and 2 sides $30 worth it. With 2 beers and a pulled pork sandwich with a side came out to $58. Worth the price if you are looking for a great bbq place on the drive up Highway 1.

Highly recommend for delicious food in a fun and funky atmosphere. We have lunch here when ever we can. Love the blackened fish and chips. Potato salad and coleslaw are excellent too.

Brisket and Mac n cheese were fire. Service was fast, looks family run. Better to put your dollar and mouth here than Mickey dees

Stopped in here late on a Friday while traveling, we were the only customers in here as it was definitely after dinner rush hours but quick and friendly service and amazing bbq. The brisket was done perfectly- juicy, tender and flavorful even without sauces. The sides were fresh and full of flavor. Would absolutely recommend this to others passing through!

A little unassuming place, but the food menu is huge. Just not another, "want to be bbq joint." Don't get me wrong, the bbq is great! But if you are not into ribs and brisket or smoked meats. The baked oyster, and blacken rockfish is off the hook. Best I had in a long time. Looking forward to trying everything on their menu. Definitely two thumbs up.

Excellent, I got The Q, the brisket was great, I loved the Mac and Cheese. My sister got the mushroom sandwich and a veggie skewer and she was very happy with it. Great food, Great service!

Great prices even with the gratuity included. Low key with an expansive menu. I want to try their smoked chicken taquitos.

Over the past year I've been in Fort Bragg every other month or so for work and this place had been the high point of the trip. Damn good bbq, brisket and ribs are the stand out. My coworker usually gets and fish and chips, he likes them quite a lot. They got a great selection of sauces as well, my favorite is the tangy followed by the spicy hot.

We went during a slow time of day on a Monday and so the service was great. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious! The wings are smoked and so tasty. And my Q sandwich, brisket on Texas toast with cheddar was delicious. Their sauces are very good and the Tangy one is hands down awesome! And I usually am not a fan of Carolina tangy bbq sauce, so you have to try it. The service was very friendly. Enjoyed it very much!

Food was great! Friendly environment and easy location to get to, and park at. A decent selection of food that was delicious.

Best pulled pork and Brisket I've ever had- so tender and juicy! And the Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw were both amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious, real food. We came to Fort Bragg for a weekend vacation and I am sad that 'The Q' isn't in our town!

Friendly staff, service was not fast, but I'll excuse that as the food was great. Beef ribs were smokey and good. Tender, but still with some chewyness. Perfect. Fries were crunchy, hot, and delish! Nice local beer. Wife's brisket sandwich was good, as well as the mac n cheese. Definitely recommend!

The ribs were fantastic, cooked just right so they come off the bone with minimal effort, and have good but not overpowering smoke flavor. My wife's blackened rockfish was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spice. They have the friendliest staff you can imagine without being invasive.

The Q is the place for BBQ in Fort Bragg !! Everything we ordered was outstanding !! Brisket was very tender and so is the baby back ribs. Don't even get me started on the oysters ! Started with 6 in herb and butter sauce and ended up ordering 30 more !! Took our food to Pomo Bluffs and had a fantastic view !
