China Camp Museum

Was able to enter free b/c the payment machine was broken and being repaired. Great place to learn Bay Area history of Cantonese Chinese and their influence which is my ancestry. Was surprised that they exported most of their dried shrimp product back to China where most of the market was in the 19th century. The park was well maintained preserving some of the original structures and equipment from the fishing village. A worthwhile learning adventure for a family and school group to enjoy. Great picnic sites, too.

Small museum dedicated to the people who used to live in this area.

Nice stop for checking out the Chinese history and culture in a small village where the main occupation was shrimping.
