The campground is beautiful. The day use area is now free. There is a great almost level five mile trail along the coast, perfect for bicycles. Unfortunately, mine was ripped off in the middle of the night from my campsite, before I had a chance to take a ride along it. I never thought, that this could happen in a State Park. Watch your stuff.

Spent 3 nights. Cool weather and a great venue. Ocean is close.

It’s nice when the campsites are so clean. Plus, the bathrooms were kept clean. Had decent AT&T cell coverage. We were in a decent size group and the grounds were great for that. Only small thing would be to have better fire pit bbqs.

We always stop at McKerricher Beach State Park when we visit the area. It is the best beach for walks. Very long beach. Great tidal pools. Great whale watching. Perfect place for watching the sunset. Handicap accessible boardwalk on the bluff with nice ocean viewing areas. Bring your camera!

Nice spots with plenty of space between them. Short walk to the beach.

Have been going there for well over 30 years and it is a wonderful place to visit. Seen a lot of changes over the years and somehow seems the same. Love the trails, beach and weather. Pick up a burger at Jenny's Giant Burgers down the street and head here to eat out of your car and stare at the ocean🤙

I love this place. Close to town (short drive out of Fort Bragg maybe 10 min tops) I have never had 1 issue here. There's sea shells, and whales in the distance (during migration ) and tide pools and trails and fun. Love love this place. Oh and camping!!!

Definitely a nice campground. Easy walk to the beach and there's plenty to do in the area. Rangers are friendly and gave a lot of good information on fishing spots in the area.

Scott the docent is very informative and helpful. The visitor center is super cool. The whale skeleton is also awesome to see.

Gorgeous campground. First come first serve. Steep $40 per night but view of the coast is perfect. They have walk in campgrounds which are literally you have to walk about 200 yards to pick a camping spot. Very secluded and can be romantic!

I want Westpine camp ground every time. It's a little more private than others but still had plenty of room.
