My son is the pickiest person with his hair. Countless dollars and time spent other places. He LOVES coming here for his haircuts. I’m an old punk kid at heart so the design of the shop is amazing. We will always come back here for his hair! Amazing team of artists!

This is the only place I go to for my hair. It is always such a wonderful experience, and I leave happy and feeling myself every time. You can't go wrong with any of their stylists!

Still the best barbershop I've ever been to. Eric and Nate are extremely good at what they do. Wish I found them a long time ago. I only got to see them for a year before my hair was too thin and needed to be buzzed off. They cut and styled my hair in ways I thought I could never achieve with my fine straight hair. Highly recommend them!

Got started on growing out my pixie cut with Liz today. She gave my mop some shape and texture, and styled it super cute. I'll be back to see her soon!

Emily is a 10/10, extremely knowledgeable and listens so well. They wont do anything to your hair until you both are on the same page about the game plan 👩🏽‍🍳💋 and they cut my curly hair 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 I havent gone to another salon since finding them

I saw Liz and asked for a haircut pretty dramatically different than I had before. She gave me exactly what I wanted and was patient as I didn't react much to shock of the change. She made sure I knew she guarantees haircuts for 7 days, and also assured me she thought it looked great. It took me some time to adjust but I really love the cut, she did a great job, and was incredibly supportive!

Shane gave me several haircuts/beard trims over the course of 6 months. He's a phenomenal barber with a great eye for style specific to each customer. My wife sent me a picture of one of the cuts I got the other day and I honestly think it's the best haircut I've ever had. If you're looking for a new barber, Shane's your guy!

My 3rd time going to the salon for a cut and 2nd for color. Nikki and Emily are amazing! Nikki did my daughter's coloring and the blending and coloring is great. Emily was my color goddess and painstakingly bleached, colored, and cut my hair. Salon itself is low key and a chill/fun atomsphere. Thanks so much Nikki, Emily, and Janna for the cuts and colors!

I went in to Supernova for the first time ever today and had my first professional haircut in over a decade. I'm usually weary of trusting a stranger to do my hair, but Ash killed it. They were kind and communicative and nailed the style I asked for. Everyone who worked there was super friendly, and I really dig the funky and eclectic vibe in the shop. I will definitely be getting my hair cut here again!

David took care of me and he did a great job, not only did he cut my hair but he had a generally awesome vibe and he was very passionate about his craft. Highly recommend this barber if you’re looking for someone who is very skilled but is also uplifting and cares about their work,

I am writing this review because someone has to say something. Supernova Barbershop is a PREMIER shop in Tacoma and the ONLY one I will recommend to my friends and family. The owner is an awesome guy and he really works hard to maintain a positive vibe. Now, I'd also like to talk about the only barber i will go and see there. Tito, is by far the best barber i have ever come across, he always goes above and beyond to make sure I and other customers are well treated when in his chair. i HIGHLY recommend going to supernova barbershop and seeing TITO!

Got my hair cut by Liz and she is fantastic, she gave me exactly what I wanted. Everyone there has great, positive energy. The shop is aesthetically pleasing and they even have a shop cat 😻

Tito is great! Been getting my haircuts from him for at least a year, always happy. Decided to get a shave this last time too. In the past barbers struggle with my stiff thick beard and so can't shave very close. Not true for Tito. He gave me a great shave; I was happy andy wife was too. Highly recommend

For me finding a good barber has been a challenge for me all my life, everywhere I went I noticed that consistency was a major issues among most location. I started going to SuperNova a couple year ago, and never turned back. Since that day I only need one great barber to cut my hair. Nathan at Supernova is the best. professional, skilled and most of all consistent. Trust me. give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

If any short haired ladies are looking for a solid barber, I would definitely recommend Shane. Had my hair cut by him twice and he cut my hair perfectly each time and I feel totally comfortable in the shop and having him cut my hair. Also, my last cut by him grew out beautifully. Still blended even after two months of grow out. As long as I keep my hair short, I will definitely keep going to him for hair cuts.

Kendra was amazing! She colored mine & my 4yr old daughters hair! She did an amazing job!

My stylist was friendly and chatty and gave me a quality haircut. It was a really good experience close to home, which is always a big plus for me.

I went to Nikki for galaxy themed hair color and she was amazing!! She’s so kind, funny and personable. She answered all the questions i had about the aftercare. The whole experience was great and I love my hair so much! Everyone at work loved it as well and got tons of compliments.
