Great value. Spacious, clean room in a very convenient, quiet location. Easy beach access with a great coffee spot (Phoebe’s) along the way.

Very nice inn in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach, aquarium, and 17 mile drive. Room was very clean and the fireplace was a nice touch. Only complaint was we had a downstairs room and you could easily hear the people upstairs walking around. I would stay here again.

What a cute motel! Less than 30 rooms but they are pet friendly and clean. We had a fireplace in our room and 6 pillows. Yes the bathroom is small, but the sink and vanity are outside the bath. No traffic noises, the motel is in a quiet neighborhood. This is one of the best values in our trip across the U.S.

We booked this because it was a great price and we’re delightfully surprised at the quality and overall experience we received during our stay. We were able to back up right to our room door and park for easy loading and unloading. The room was nice, clean, comfortable and to top it off it came with a cozy fireplace that is perfect for the Monterey weather. By far the coolest part was exactly what the name implies, DEER! When we opened our drapes in the morning we saw about 3 deer grazing the grass. When the kids went outside to observe we saw 5 more, truly the highlight of the stay for the little ones. This hidden gem will forever be our stop when visiting the pacific grove.

Affordable and comfortable place to stay in Monterey! There is a nice fireplace in your room and drip coffee is provided in the morning!

It's located in a quiet area among trees. It's within walking distance to the beach. Love the cozy fireplace and has an outside area for my dogs' business. This is the second time I've stayed here and I always receive a warm welcome.

Stayed 7 nights in August 2021. Very clean and quiet place. Had 4 total guests and we were all comfortable. The location is perfect for Carmel/Pacific Grove/Monterey as well as a launching point for Santa Cruz. The staff are great and made us feel at home. My only complaint is low water pressure. We would stay there again.

Room is nice and clean. It's in the quiet neighborhood and near the Asilomar beach. Breakfast is light and simple. The staff are very nice and helpful. We ended up booking one extra night because the kids love it so much. We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a gem in Pacific Grove.

We loved our stay at Deer Haven. It is in a very quiet neighborhood area, just 1 short block from Asilomar. You can walk down through the historic conference center to the beach. In California, place names often refer to animals, plants and geographical features that could not have existed there. But Deer Haven is the opposite. You will see deer in this neighborhood. Even as we were checking into our room we saw deer across the road, including a "bambi." The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room and bed were very clean and comfortable. The exterior is well kept and has many suspended flower pots to brighten up the verandahs. Just around the corner, at the gate of Asilomar, is a bus stop for the MST 1 bus. We used this one to get to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Most of the Pacific Grove peninsula is within about 30 minutes walk of the hotel.

Very nice place especially for the price. The room was spacious and very clean, it had everything we needed, even a microwave and an iron, the bed was big and comfortable. It is in a quite place, next to the park, and we saw a little deer walking right next to the inn, confirming its name ))

Great location (right next to Asilomar state park). Great rooms. Nice quiet community. My only complaint would be the bare bones "breakfast". But, overall, good stay. I also should note that I didn't pay for the room, so if I took price the price into consideration, it might not be quite as good a rating, not sure.

Lovely location in Pacific Grove. Right across the street from Asilomar​ Conference Grounds. 10 minute walk to Asilomar State Beach. Location is very quiet. Love to hear the waves with the window open, and smell the salty air. Value for the rooms and location is unbeatable! Rooms have all the basic amenities, nothing fancy. Who stays in the room when there so much to do anyways?! 5 minute drive from 17 mile drive and world class golf courses. 10-15 minutes from Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Overall the rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Myself and my 2 chihuahua mixes booked 2 nights. The inn is spotless, beautifully manicured, exceptional service and comfortable all around. It is super convenient to everywhere and great value for the money!

Clean, cozy - with a fireplace in the room, great location and wonderful staff. We are early risers so I can’t speak to the breakfast offerings but the staff was very clear that it was very light and we were close to downtown anyway so we ate out. I would stay here again.

The rooms are comfortable, clean the price is great. The location is perfect, we always enjoy staying there specially because they welcome pets which is a must to us.

Perfect, quaint, very clean, romantic, cute little country hotel. I have done a ton of traveling over the past year and a half and this is by far my favorite place I have stayed yet! Staff was very friendly and helpful! If I could choose a home away from home, I would stay here! 💕

Such a pretty hotel in such a quiet area. I absolutely loved serving here for our anniversary. Absolutely peaceful, the room had a warm "fireplace", and was very large. Loved it.

This is a beautiful little spot that's about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Rooms were very nice and clean, staff is very nice and the location is very cozy. Will definitely come back!
