Great location and helpful, friendly front desk staff. Cannot beat the location and price for the area. Rooms are small but clean and well equipped. Microwave and small fridge. Comfortable bed with decent linens. They have FREE parking available but try to arrive a little before check in time, 4p to ensure a spot. Fast Wi-Fi too.

What’d you’d expect from a two star hotel. Nothing super fancy but a nice place by the ocean. Great service.

We absolutely loved our stay here, and can't wait to go back! Our room was super clean. The bed, and pillows were extra comfy. Lots of TV channels to choose from, and we were able to hook up our video games with ease! Very close to everything we wanted to do, and places we wanted to visit. The people that work there are awesome! Really helpful, friendly, and made us feel at home!

I love this place! I have stayed at over a dozen hotels in Monterey always making a swimming pool first priority. Well, the best swimming pool on the planet is right across the street in the Pacific Ocean! Not warm tropical water but it is refreshing. Lovers Point is a nice family spot and nice dive spot also. Really cool ocean themed decor and furniture. The bathroom is small but I don't visit a hotel for the bathroom I visit for location and this one has the best in Monterey! Not overpriced and pretentious like some I have stayed at that are right on the bay. Had a nice view of the coast. Really appreciate it having an elevator. I wish I would have discovered this place earlier. I already have it booked again!

Great location. They dropped breakfast but that incented me to find great breakfast restaurants in Pacific Grove. The higher the floor, the better the view.

What a great little spot right on the beach. Me and my partner got the "Lovers package", which was waiting for us in our room when we checked in. It was so romantic and such a wonderful touch. The staff was amazing and answered all our questions when we arrived. Great view of the beach and so many walkable places. We will definitely be back!

Clean, neat. It was quiet when we were there but it was not close to full and it was January. I expect some noise later in the season. Can't beat the location next to the ocean and walking distances of most of the best dining in Pacific Grove. I even walked to the aquarium as it was only about a mile. Did not get in my car the whole time.

All of the staff were kind and courteous. From the owner to the housekeepers. We got the romance package which was a dozen roses, champagne, and chocolate from the owners candy shop. Which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom is a bit small, but I had no intention on spending my time there. The view from our room was incredible. There were plenty of places within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

From the outside this place doesn't look as nice as it is inside. The rooms were very clean, had a nice fan to keep things cool and the windows opened to let the beach breeze in during the evening. We had a great view of the ocean and the food across the street at the restaurant was AMAZING! The best part was the atmosphere around the hotel super relaxed, and safe feeling. The beach was about 2 minute walk. Overall the hotel is a nice place for you and the family or a nice stay for you and a friend or partner. I will definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

Location is beautiful the beach is right across the street. They serve morning breakfast which is awesome. Hotel is a little outdated but is comfortable and is pretty spacious. We were able to set up a pack and play for our little one and still have enough room to walk around. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Perfect! Deserves much higher rating! Ocean facing balcony, unbelievable location and view, an absolutely lovely room, CLEAN, beautiful linens and INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE BEDS...far more comfortable than the Hilton we stayed at previously. And, if that wasn't enough - which it surely was- Leslie at the front desk was wonderful. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, she was a gem. I almost overlooked this place because the photos listed do it no justice but what a find! So pleased with our stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great stay but isn't looking for brand new luxury spa type property.

I liked the location a lot. Free breakfast was fast and easy. The rooms were clean and no issues were found. There are a lot of tourists so a quiet getaway would not be easy here. Parking could be better but its not a negative for me. Cool stuff

Convenient location, clean, and good for the price. Very affordable for a family of 5 to stay on vacation. The only dislike I had were the pillows, very uncomfortable. Parking was free and easy to find and the room was clean and large enough for 3 kids and 2 adults. I would definitely stay here again.

I have gotten excellent, friendly service at this hotel. My friend and I arrived back at the hotel after midnight. We mentioned to the night clerk that we were hungry, and he really surprised us when he prepared a snack for us. In the middle of the night!
This is my third stay at Lovers Point Inn over the past couple of years, and I have always loved staying here. You cannot beat the location. The hotel is older, but it is clear that the owners work at keeping it nice. The rooms are small but clean. The beds are very, very comfortable. The breakfast is good enough. I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We reserved here last minute. The hotel was perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The view we had was amazing, altho I know many rooms don't have a full coastal view. We were so pleased with this hotel, we plan to stay again in the spring! If you need a local place to stay, central to just about everything, this is the spot.1

We had a great time there even though we stayed for one night. The room was clean the beds were soft for a family of four. We walked down the street for the beach with the kids. I would definitely come back and stay there again. The only thing we had a problem with was parking.

Great location. I had an ocean view on the third floor. Shower was great liked the coffee machine, mini fridge, iron and board, and normal hangers. What a treat and reasonably priced. Its a good deal.

I am a travel nurse that stayed at this hotel for 1 month after my previous housing fell through. This hotel was amazing! The room was beautifully redone recently with a gorgeous view of the water. The staff from front desk workers to the housekeeping staff were all so kind and helpful during my stay. The location is perfection: one block from beautiful ocean views. I really appreciate this hotel and would recommend everyone stay here!

Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a great view of the ocean from our window. It was a 20 minute walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium so that saved us money on parking. I would recommend this place to couples or small families.
