Sea Breeze Inn and Cottages

Everything about this hotel is perfect. We stayed in a condo and it was quiet, lots of room, and it was perfect for what we needed. The location is hard to beat, you’re a block away from the beach, and an amazing golf course and close to downtown Monterey. I highly recommend recommend this hotel, and I’ll be staying here again in the future. And it was a good, safe, neighborhood.

Great hotel with all the necessary amenities. The location is perfect for walks to the beach and just a short drive from several restaurants and Monterey attractions. TJ checked us in and was very welcoming.

Had a wonderful stay in a cottage here the last two nights. The staff was very kind and the room was clean and quiet. I will be back for sure very soon! Thank you

We stayed in a cabin with a kitchenette. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was great to have a kitchenette as there are no breakfast restaurants in the area.
We have two minor complaints, the reason for a four-star rating on the cabin. It was getting a bit rough around the edges and the pillows were a bit thin. That said it was very apparent that the new owners were refurbishing the place inside and out. All the staff people we delt with were very friendly and helpful.
We will stay likely there next time we come to Pacific Grove.
We love staying as far away from Cannery Row as possible.
There is a beautiful shoreline just down the hill, along with a lighthouse museum.

We checked in late and they had our keys in a lock box and had emailed us the wifi password and all info. Room was very clean and beautiful. Lots of space. Beautiful property with lots of trees and landscaping. We will definitely stay here again.

5/5. best place i have ever stayed (better than my own home lol) amazing service and nice space for 1-4 people, restraints nearby as well as a beach. beds are comfy and some of the rooms have a whole bathroom+kitchen. would recommend for family vacation.

Nice pet friendly motel, good value for the price. The former owners always had a dog bed, a treat & bowls set out for the dogs that came. That was missing when we came this visit, found that the motel had changed hands & the nice guy in the office went & found a couple of bowls and a thick mat for my dog, which I really appreciated. Hope the new owners will make provision for the pets that come in the future.

Rooms seem a bit thread bare, but everything is functional and has a good general appearance. Location is quiet and lightly traveled. Internet is plenty good for work or play. Good experience will stay there again.

Overall our stay was awesome. Room was nice and big and had a good size kitchen. I like that we could park our car right out front. We stayed while it was colder outside, but the lack of AC during the summer could make the room a little uncomfortable. Other than that it was overall a great stay! Highly recommended for the location and price!!

It was simple, cute and the rooms were as described on the website. We were a last-minute late arrival the first night and they clearly explained how we could get into our room. I love that we could bring our dog too. When you arrive the driveway loops around clockwise and if you're lucky you'll be able to park right close to your room. I'd go back. The owners were very pleasant too. From the location it's a simple 10 minute walk down to the beach and the pretty walk along the shore in front of the lighthouse.

I just want to say I'm in love with Pacific Grove! It's the most unique and beautiful town. What's better then being a walk away from the beach right. 5 star location and 5 star service/staff. 3 star rooms If you plan on just staying in your room then you may want to look for a little more updated room with bells and whistles. But really who wants to stay inside when your in a little paradise?

My family took a long car ride to get there and we ended up getting there an hour before check in. They let us check in early with no problem and we’re really nice about it. We booked the cabin with two queen beds and it was like home away from home. My son has autism and lots of changes can be overwhelming, but this cabin allowed him to feel like he was home. There was a full kitchenette and mini fridge so all his favorite snacks and meals came with us. The bathroom was large and the tub was great for a bubble bath. It was close to the aquarium, and the beach, and the butterfly sanctuary, and the lighthouse. The staff were super friendly and overall we had a great time there. Would definitely book again!

I live down the street from the inn and wanted a cottage for some family to visit. I called, and the front desk attendant was super helpful and told me to come on down and she would show me some rooms. When I arrived, she was extremely helpful and showed me two rooms and cottage. They all looked and smelled clean, updated, and completely adequate for our needs. Yes, the place is small and the complex tightly clustered, but that is typical of PG motels. Anyway, I booked easily online but unfortunately had to cancel since I was able to borrow a larger house from a friend. I called again, and the front desk attendant was helpful and polite. I received my cancellation email within minutes without any issues. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. If you want a large place, then pay the $900 per night down at Pebble Beach. BTW, NO ONE has AC in PG. you only need it a few hours/ days out of the year in August/September. Opening windows is standard, esp. when you are surrounded by the ocean/ bay on 3 sides. Let me know if you have any questions because I hate it when places get rated down due to people's unreasonable expectations.

We stayed two nights here and actually considered cancelling the rest of our trip so we could stay longer. It's lovely and the staff is very nice. We could have used a tub since we were traveling with our toddler but other than that the place was perfect. Nice breakfast that you can have at your room or at the fire pit, rooms were nice and spacious. Can't wait to go back!

I had a relaxing stay at the Sea Breeze! The property was wonderfully quiet and peaceful! It's well-maintained, staff are friendly, and the queen cottage I stayed in was clean and well-supplied. The kitchenette had everything I needed and then some. Comfy bed and nice sheets and towels. Great wi-fi signal and TV/cable. Fun electric fireplace! Note that the cottage is quite small -- perfect for the solo traveler -- so furniture is minimal, e.g., dinette set but no armchair. Because I stayed for a week, it would have been nice to have more storage, like a dresser, for folded clothes instead of just a couple of shelves. This is a personal preference, and did not detract from the quality of my stay.

My sister and I were guests for 3 nights, this past week. Our room was very lovely, clean, spacious, convenient to surrounding attractions, it had everything we needed. We also like how it was decorated. Maid service was very good, as was the front desk staff. Breakfast was great for us, we don't need a 3 course meal, grab and go works the best. I would definitely stay here in the future!!

Perfect mix of charming and modern. Cathedral ceiling and beautiful hardwood flooring in the bedroom, ceramic tile in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed with modern tasteful bedding. All modern amenities, fridge, microwave, coffee, iron, ironing board, hairdryer. Just a very nice place to stay.
Was immediately made to feel welcome at the front desk office. So inviting and thoughtful. Gave us local information about where to eat and what was open, such as whale watching.
May drive back from North Dakota just to stay there again. Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Our rooms were very clean with the kitchen and a fireplace and were recently built so everything was new. The trees and landscaping were beautiful. We loved the occasional deer sightings even when just looking out the room window. The fire pit outside made the experience even more pleasant not to mention being so close to a quick 10 min walk to the breathtaking beautiful coastline walk as well as a lighthouse. And I can't forget to mention how super friendly Miguel and Brian were to talk to and at providing quick and prompt service when needed. Overall the experience was great !

We've stayed here quite a few times. But honestly I'd only stay in the cottages. It has new owners now and it needs an update. The first time we stayed in 2017 it was quite new. It's such a great getaway.

Can definitely see the upgrades made since I was last here 2 years ago. Room looked much larger with a change in furniture, door lock system is now electronic, soap dispensers in room, and the wifi works well. Good check in experience. Highly recommend.
