Silenus Winery

We had a great wine tasting here! Reservation only! Ken was very educated and friendly, and of course the wine was so delicious! We will definitely be coming back here again.

Great collection of white wines. They have a unique white “Roussanne” and I liked it a lot. Their Chardonnay is pretty good as well. Overall liked this winery, definitely not in my top 10 for white wines.

Great winery with very friendly staff! We went on Memorial Day and were lucky enough that the staff was able to fit us in with a day-of reservation, when most other wineries in the area were fully booked. Super happy with the outcome; our host Hiro was very attentive and helped tell the story of all the wines we sampled, which were great - we went with the standard $25 flight since it included two whites and a rose which were nice as it was a hot day out.

Silenus is also unique in that they are a 'Custom Crush' facility and sample wines from other winemakers who use their site as part of the flight. This meant that we got to try a variety of different wines, and one of the tastings was also comped after we bought two bottles.

The tasting room is easy to get to plus they have a large outdoor picnic area. We did our tasting outdoors and they had good COVID protocols in terms of masks indoors + sanitization. Looking forward to coming back when we are next in the area!

HIRO at the Silenus Winery was the host with the most. We had no reservation but qere greeted with open arms. We left there with a buzz, an education on wine, the area, the history of the establishment,and few referrals for other places to visit and eat during our stay. We bought 2 bottles of wine, waiving the tasting fee and 2 signature glasses. It was an awesome experience. We sat by the fire , but there was a lov ely garden and out side patio.

Great wine and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We are not wine drinkers and never did a tasting before. The lady walked us through everything and was very helpful and a great experience!

The best thing about Silenus is that they have something for everyone! They don’t only serve their label but others as well. Many options. Reasonably priced tasting.

Fantastic winery! This was our favorite experience from our visit to Napa. The wine and the setting were absolutely incredible and Ken & Ohana were such gracious hosts. They made our experience so special. We are dreaming of coming back!! Thank you very much for your hospitality.

My boyfriend and I came to this winery today. Our first time in Napa and our first winery in Napa. We couldn’t have been more delighted. Such a kind and humble staff. With excellent wine and a beautiful setting. We learned so much and truly enjoyed ourselves. Please give them a try!

What a great day to beat the CA heat! My partner and I planned a "vacation day" that started with Silenus winery! Ken was our host with the most and made us feel welcomed and engaged with the wines we were tasting. Did I mention how GORGEOUS this place is too? Stunning, and def tabbed for future events :-) Thank you Ken and Silenus Winery!! We will be back!

Amazing tasting experience. Fantastic and unusual wines from the property and around the region. Ken was the best! So welcoming and we learned a ton! Will be coming back for sure!

This was the vineyard in Napa we visited that did not feel snooty. We also love the concept of sharing other local micro vineyard creations.

We went to 4 wineries and this one by far was the best. We got to choose red or white and our hostess was great. The wine was excellent!

I love this place and always have a great experience here. A hidden gem in the Valley which features excellent wines, beautiful setting, a lovely tasting room and staff that are very friendly and knowledgeable! You really get a great deal here because this is a 'custom crush' winery so not only can you taste and purchase the wonderful Silenus brand wines, you also get the opportunity to sample a wide variety of great wines from other Napa Valley vintners on their rotating menu. This is a great place to stop for those looking for something a little off the beaten path, and why waste your day rushing around trying to visit a bunch of wineries in one day when you can experience the same amount of variety under one roof?

This was such a lovely and personal experience! We were helped by Hannah, the manager, to understand what we were drinking. She took our personal tastes into account and even poured us a couple extra wines that she thought we might like based on our conversation. My favorite was the Noria and Tarpon (sp?) wines we had. Hannah's help during our visit really made the difference between Silenus and other tasting rooms, she was so lovely and helpful and not at all judgmental of our wine expertise (or lack therof)!

The only (and I mean ONLY) thing that marred our trip was a very loud, inconsiderate group of women (might have been a bachelorette party because one woman was wearing a sash, but we thought it said MILF on it so maybe not. Whoever thought that was appropriate for the Napa Valley is beyond me...). They were hooting and hollering up a storm and actually left the bathroom a papery mess. I can appreciate the value of an open door and Silenus' welcoming spirit, but I do wish some people would learn how to behave in a place of business, let alone a really nice winery like this one. If you can't behave like an adult when there's wine nearby, maybe you should stay on the bus.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff; 5 out of the 6 wines on the regular tasting list were fantastic, and we ended up purchasing 2 of them. Definitely make this a stop on your Napa Valley wine tour!

Super nice people , loved the small feel to the place and wine, coming from wine country myself, this winery has high quality in small quantity which was the best we had in our visit to Napa. Highly recommended !!! Hanna our host was knowledgeable and sweat, made our stay enjoyable and fun.

Scot is a fabulous host. Very knowledgable and entertaining. This is our first exposure to an artisan Vintner. It is a great concept. It is a sunny day and the grounds are beautiful.
