Tides Waterfront Kitchen

The pork belly lettuce wraps and all 3 drinks I had were all top shelf. Not to mention the awesome service. Then to top it off the view.

Staff are extremely friendly and kind. Restaurant is very kid friendly, while also maintaining a fine-dining atmosphere. The sunset views are spectacular. My spouse and kids truly enjoyed our experience and will be coming back soon.

Beautiful location, great staff, and delicious food! Recommend this spot for sure! You can hear the waves crashing it’s literally right on the beach. So peaceful for breakfast!

I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic breakfast we had at the Tides Waterfront. We stayed at the Monterey Tides Hotel during spring break. I rarely eat at the hotel restaurant because in general hotel restaurants are terrible. Not this one. They had a wide variety of offerings for meat lovers, vegetarians and the pickiest of eaters... kids. The restaurant was built like Windows on the world. Each row of tables were placed higher than the one in front of it. Design intended for all patrons to see the lovely view of the bay and that it was.
The wait staff was amazing. I was having a particularly hard morning with my 10-year-old son who was over tired from our trip. He only wanted chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes for breakfast. On the kids menu, they had a character shaped Pancake, plain, no chips. He was upset and said he didn't want anything. I ordered it anyway. I also ordered the eggs bene for me, cooked, well-done and sauce on the side. Bacon done well and coffee. I ordered milk for my son. When the order came out to our surprise the waiter convinced the chef to make 5 of the best ever chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes This was the best breakfast of our trio and probably the best meal as well!

How could you not love it! Great view, casual and inviting.. good food and drinks..sit at large bar height tables ..the bar, or next to the fireplaces ,in seating areas with couches, lounge by the windows, step outside, and walk about 50 steps and you are literally going to get your toes wet from the waves lapping up onto the beach ,just past the outside lounge areas.

I really liked this restaurant while we stayed at the hotel. We went here for breakfast lunch and dinner and they were all great. There is a strawberry cocktail that is delicious. For breakfast I got scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. They don't give you many potatoes so I ask for a little extra. I think the only thing would be to have crayons and paper for kids, it was never provided for us and I had a 4 yr old that was getting a bit bored sitting and waiting. The view of the ocean is beautiful.

Beautiful views of the Monterey coast. Try to make it in their lounge around 6:30pm so you can have awesome, front row seat of the bay and watch the sunset disappear behind the bay. The scenery is majestic!

Good food , very good service and fantastic views . Loved the easy going atmosphere .

The staff and patrons are very friendly Kelly and her husband were so nice they introduced us to the drink called island time and even bought everyone a a round of drinks thank you so much

Carlos, our waiter, was amazing with his service. The food was at par with what we expected.

WOW! Great food, fantastic service, good price and a great view. One of the first restaurants on the Warf but it will not disappoint.

We arrived late almost 10pm, which is when they close. And they still seated us. We had their hamburger which was very good and our waiter Dani,I believe was his name, was very nice and a great server. The food came within 10 or 15 minutes.

The best dinner ever.

Yummy coastal food options-I ordered their seafood and it was superb! Plus the chef modified some items for me without any up charge.
