Munras Inn

We visited from out of town with family on vacation. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We had a fireplace which added a nice ambiance to our stay. The room and all amenities were very clean and updated. I would recommend to all my friends and family. Very nice location as well. Thank you to the entire staff.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Clean room. FNice and helpful staff. (Breakfast- coffee, packaged pastry, yogurt, cereal, meal, orange, Apple, oatmeal. )

This place is a great little quiet hotel about 2 blocks from downtown. Hotel staff was down to earth and extremely helpful in terms of knowing the local area and recommending places to go. Room was great. The bed had a beautiful headboard which made it feel like a very quality place. In room fireplace was a GREAT addition as well which I've been told is in every room. Very well cleaned and maintained as well!

It's a smaller more family type hotel. Very clean rooms that are remodeled. Great prices for an excellent location. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Visited Fisherman Wharf and the Aquarium while there - you should take a look at this hotel for a visit to Monterey.

We stayed here for 3 days while celebrating our anniversary and absolutely loved our time at Munras Inn. The room was clean, updated, and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Welcoming personnel, possibility to park just in front of your room (if on ground floor) and very clean, comfortable and very well designed rooms are the main raisons to give a five stars appreciation for my stay there. It's well located, not too far from the city center but in a quieter area. Sound isolation is good.
Open fire is a original plus !

Based on some of the reviews I was a little worried but I booked the place last minute and had limited options. This place went above my expectations! The rooms were newly renovated, quiet, and the location was great! I could even seen the ocean from the room I was in! I walked pretty much everywhere I wanted to go and the staff was fabulous! They were really worried about my expectations for “breakfast” due to bad reviews about it in the past. It’s really more snacks but all I need is coffee and I wanted to go to local places to eat anyways! Highly recommend this place for a cozy but nice place to stay!

This place was perfect! It was extremely clean. The rooms were cute. We had a fire place in our room which was nice because it was chilly during our stay. They has alarm clocks with a built in iPhone charger. Front desk guy, Jason, was great! It was like we known him for years! This location is within walking distance from the Warf. The only negative I can give for an honest review is the WiFi is pretty slow for those who work remotely. Other than that….spectacular!

Given the modest exterior, we weren’t expecting the rooms to be so nice. All the front desk folks, night and day, were friendly and accommodating. And the price was reasonable, especially just days before New Years. The high, wooden ceiling and the timed fireplace made for a nice stay. It was close walking distance to all the wonders of downtown Monterey, including Alvarado street. We would stay here again.

What a great stay! Great location about 10 mins max to aquarium and cannery row. Parking right outside your room. Room felt very modern, very large and was well decorated! Fridge and microwave in room. Fireplace in room was an awesome touch! Large shower, hotel felt safe for two female travelers. Light breakfast available in morning in office.

We enjoyed our stay at Munras Inn. Desk clerk was nice & added our AAA discount at check-in. Our King room was clean, had a nice fireplace with 3 shutoff timer options, bed was firm & comfortable. Room 125 was quiet also, but it wasn't a very busy weekend either... Will definitely stay here again!

This is a fabulous hotel at a very reasonable price. We had a king size be in a large room with vaulted ceiling and a fireplace. We had a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The sower was a large walk in with an infrared heater. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I’ve been around the world and never had a nicer room.

Great people. As everyone has already mentioned, not really a breakfast, more snacks. Room is quaint. Good location. Walkable.

We were very impressed and satisfied with the room!! We were upgraded to the Deluxe King room & it was deluxe😊. The helpful receptionist at check in stated he was upgrading the room, when we asked why he said they like to do that if there's availability!!!😆Very spacious, beautiful romantic fireplace, the decor & lighting was beautiful! Comfortable bed...Great bathroom space & XL shower. Large TV, USB/charger for phones. Friendly staff, great parking, close to just about everything...we LOVED it. Would stay again😊..❤

This is exactly the one of the best cheap-priced hotel I've ever been to! My room had a balcony, a fireplace, and a giant bed! God bless owner!

The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. Very spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very soft. And very clean. The fireplace was a very nice touch. It's also less than a mile away from the old Fishers Wharf which has beach access!! Great hotel, and wonderful staff.

loved our stay, we even extended it! such great bang for your buck. it's clean, safe, huge comfy king bed and cozy fireplace. really appreciated how spotless the room was. staff was also super nice.

The Munras Inn was awesome! The room felt huge and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable, the fireplace was excellent, and the shower was massive. The noise level through the walls was minimal. It was always quiet and felt very private. The hotel was also easily within walking distance from downtown and everything Alvarado street has to offer. This hotel is well worth the its reasonable prices. We could not have been happier.
