Schweiger Vineyards & Winery

Great wine really enjoyed walking through their Winery, barrel room. The Tasting Room is nice with the little patio that overlooks the vineyard. Nice experience.

Josh was a great. Introduced us to some great wines. Great views from the terrace. This was the one winery all four of us enjoyed.

First time here. What an experience! Thank you Wendy for the hospitality.
I can't recommend just one wine to not be unfair to all that we tasted. But if you twist my arm, do the 2015 Dedication and then the Iteration Port.

Recently joined their wine club and love their wines, service and atmosphere. They are located in the mountains between Sonoma and Napa valleys and the drive out there, long with the view from the winery just adds to the amazing day and trip out here would make. It you want to try a smaller, slightly out of the way place, this is definitely for you!

Absolutely magic! On our Napa wine tour this vineyard definitely has the most beautiful setting with the best red wine of the day! It sits on top of the mountain and overlooks the valley. Stunning! Our lovely hostess Paula was fabulous and knowledgeable and we were met on arrival outside with glasses of wine ready to go!! Perfect experience. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful tasting this past week. The views are beautiful. Wendy was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed trying all the wines and relaxing in the tasting room with views over the vineyard.

Schweiger's is a GEM! This was our favorite stop throughout our day. Josh made the experience so much fun and was very knowledgeable. The views were beautiful and the wine was great! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful winery, scenery, and incredible wine. The tasting are hosted on a gorgeous outdoor patio or an indoor tasting room. They included some delicious library Cabernets in our tasting that made for a wonderful experience. We met Andy and Fred during our tasting and this winery truly screams high quality that you get with family owned.

Gorgeous views…the drive up the mountain is so delightful and to get to Schweiger and sip some amazing wines, with Wendy as our host, really made our day special. Thank you! Awesome Malbec and Chardonnay…the Dedication also worthy of high marks! Yummmmmm!

Wonderful- definitely worth a visit. The Chardonnay and newly released Pinot noirs were delicious. Paula was a perfect hostess.

Totally worth the drive up the mountain from St Helena. Great family owned and run winery. It was a beautiful afternoon wine tasting with the view of the Napa valley. Andy and Paula are wonderful hosts as are all the people there. Wines and delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Schweiger Vineyards! Our wonderful host took us on an impromptu tour and taught us all about how wine was made. We had a blast and could not stop talking about everything we were learning all day.

We loved hearing about the family history of the vineyard and learning all about how both the wine varieties and the property were developed.

Such amazing hospitality. Also, if you get a chance, the Rose of Merlot is absolutely delicious. Wish I had purchased even more!

What a great experience! Josh was an absolute delight, not only extremely knowledgeable but also very friendly and had recommendations for other activities in the area! The wines we tasted were fabulous, and the views and atmosphere were the icing on top!

The best wine of our honeymoon paired with some of the best views and service, too. The drive up Spring Mountain was breathtaking as the grape leaves and trees were changing colors during our October visit. Wendy greeted us over intercom at the gate, then with a refreshing taste of the estate Chardonnay as we walked up to the winery. We were particularly fond of the 2016 Cab, Port and Merlot — described accurately as “a Cab lover’s Merlot.” Wendy shared the incredible history of the property and stories behind the wines. The tasting room overlooks the vineyard, so it’s an immersive experience as the wine flows and you see the fog roll just a stone’s throw from the property. Like most wineries, you expect to see pictures of the owner, but at Schweiger we noticed the photos flanking the proprietor’s were men who worked to build and maintain the vines — family by hard work if you will. Wonderful to see the pride in the people and well deserved recognition, not just of the family but the employees. After buying a bottle of each and a Christmas ornament, we took a selfie overlooking the vineyard and said goodbye. But that wasn’t the end of our experience. On the drive back to the gate, we met the namesake of the estate: Fred Schweiger. He was returning home to the property and pulled over when we yelled from our car window. He stopped, chatted with us for a moment and sent us off with a smile. We’ll be back!

We had an amazing time visiting the Vineyard on Sunday afternoon. Wine was excellent and Wendy, our host, was great at sharing notes about the wine and the vineyard. Great time and a perfect way to finish a trip to Napa.

Great experience with friendly tasting room staff. Delicious estate grown wines, loved the Cabernet! We even got to meet the owner Fred Schweiger! It is a true family owned and operated winery / vineyard and the mountain view is gorgeous! An awesome wine tasting experience.
