Rosine's Restaurant

We went before 5 pm which was considered lunch menu still. Fridays soup of the day includes clam chowder. Full rack of ribs, lasagna and Alfredo were all great and can be shared. The German chocolate cake was also lovely.

Immaculate time for lunch phenomenal quick, eat for birthday and sample cakes and two major entrées. Both came out with great flavor and presentation will return what a group. Sean was really good at no point I recommend him each time .

Always good food and service when I eat here. Decided to let my server, Jackie I believe, pick out my meal and it didn't disappoint. She picked the surf and turf, which was PERFECT. the veggies were tender and the steak cooked perfect. Loved everything. Can't wait to go back again soon.

This restaurant is one of our top restaurants that we go to when visiting the Carmel /Pacific Grove area the food is wonderful services is impeccable, family owned been reviewed on diners, drive-ins, and dives you won’t be disappointment. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu covers it all has something for everyone.

We went for a late lunch during December. We were greeted by amazing looking cakes and immediately made dessert plans. The servers were nice and kind. We started with cocktails. My Old Fashioned was great. The soup - cream of mushroom was creamy with chunks for fresh mushrooms. Then the porcini mushroom ravioli. The final touch was the cake- lemon blueberry cake was absolutely delicious!

Great food here! We started with some clam chowder and honestly it was the best we've ever had! Then came our entrees and I can't even begin to describe how delicious everything was. I had the lasagne and yes, it was the best I've ever had. We also had the chicken parmesan and seafood pasta. All three of us weren't able to finish our meals. Be sure to come with a big appetite!

I chose Rosine's for my birthday dinner celebration, and it turned out to be an outstanding experience. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed.

The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. What really stood out was the portion sizes – they were generous, so be sure to save room for dessert, as Rosine's undeniably boasts the best desserts in town.

As a self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur, I sampled both their pumpkin cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake (cheesecakes are a personal favorite of mine), and they far exceeded my expectations.

I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Rosine's. It's a gem that's definitely worth returning to

I’ve been coming to Monterey for events for the last decade and Rosine’s has been a staple of every single trip. Their calamari fries and steak are the best calamari I’ve ever had. I cannot say enough great things about them. If you like calamari but have only ever had them in rings, you’re missing out. They’re so freaking good. For entrees, everyone loved what they had. The chicken parm is my go-to and it’s so delicious. They do Alfredo on the pasta but marinara on the chicken and it’s so good. You’ll be glad you ate here.

Had Blackened Chicken, and tha famous Lasagne, , dessert had a samll and could finish.. everything as great. Would go back. Oh Minestrone soup which I don't normally like..was fantastic, chicken Verdi soup was excellent.

What a perfect stay for lunch.
Our waiter was soooo cool and kind and funny.
We had a blast.

Perfect stop to grab brunch before heading for 17 mile drive. Loved the Benedict and garlic fries. All the dishes were great.

It was a beautiful restaurant, looked pretty popular amongst locals. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes, but it was worth it.

Definitely recommend this restaurant.

A place with a very pleasant atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, despite the fact that I ordered the meat extra-very-well-done, which probably offended both the chef and the waiter. However, the end product was really delicious and juicy. Thank you for that 😁👍

Breakfast here is an absolute must! I strongly recommend the breakfast sandwich or the chicken fried steak. It's a toss up between them for one of the best breakfast meals you can have at a total reasonable price. Normally I would describe the food but the attached pictures will do the talking for me lol.

Busy place but we had a reservation. Food was tasty especially sourdough French toast, service great & atmosphere was friendly. Cake is phenomenal too.

Honestly one of the best chicken fried steaks ive ever had and i eat them every time it's on a menu. Even the eggs were delicious. 10 out of 10 would recommend . I have no idea what kind of drugs they put in the food to make it taste that good but when I am back in Monterey I will be back!!!

Like Eggs Benedict this is the place! I've never seen so many selections. Had the Turkey, mushrooms, and avocado and it was delicious.

Kid a friendly place too. Variety of items and my kids ate everything off their plates.

If you’re looking for a good meal with portions large enough to take home for a second meal, Rosine’s is the spot.

Minestrone is A MUST. I thought I would never say that about a minestrone soup but this one hits different. Trust me. Or trust Guy Fieri. We both feel the same about this.

Chicken Parmesan is awesome. Comes with half white sauce and half red sauce. Genius. I think the leftovers taste even better the next day.

Do yourself and your tummy a favor and come thru!

Very good restaurant located right on the high street of Monterey. Good food, amazing cakes and upscale ambiance.

Food: Very good food with upscale presentation and sides. The BBQ sauce on the ribs was very good. So was the chocolate cake.

Service: Friendly and professional service. A bit slow but forgiven as it was during Monterey Car Week madness.

Ambiance: Very nice and stylish ambiance. We very much enjoyed our table at the window and the beautiful cars driving by.

Price: Prices are okay considering it's Monterey.

Conclusion: Definitely worth a visit.

Rosine’s is “cooking with gas.” LOL. Too far to walk from the aquarium, but it was very much worth the short detour. The food and service is just fantastic. The portions are generous and the service is prompt. The BBQ ribs were delicious. The house special lasagna was quite a meal. The squid appetizer was very well prepared. And our favorite was the fantastic fries!
