Freemark Abbey Winery

The winery is beautiful. Kate provided us a top notch wine tasting comparison experience and taught us so much about winemaking. Tasting room was delightful with plenty of room in a classy yet cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend trying a tasting here.

We had a nice wine tasting with Anne. It was lovely to talk about Germany and her experience. It was nice to hear a lot of California and its wines. Taste a lot of special red wines.

An amazing place with true Napa history. These wines are so well made and age gracefully for years. A must see for wine lovers and collector's.

Great fun to do in unusual wine tasting that was a side by side comparison. I really enjoy the opportunity to try a hundred percent cabernet versus a hundred percent my merlot. Thank you Grace for a great experience

Did the wine trolly tour this was our first stop, favorite place we visited all day! The hospitality from arrival to leaving was amazing! The wine was also the best we had all day! One of the best wineries in the valley. Extremely underrated.

Kim is awesome, and always brings such good energy every time we go for a tasting.

Their wines are also excellent. Some of the best cabs I've had.

What a perfect way to start off our day of wine tours. They greeted us with a glass of “breakfast wine”, otherwise known as their Sauvignon Blanc, in their STUNNING tasting room. Kim took great care of us throughout our tasting and really made it feel so personal. Would absolutely recommend going back to this lovely winery.

I’ve been to Freemark a handful of times and Kim has shared her vast knowledge of wines each time. She elevated the experience from great to excellent, and I feel like I got to know the wines on such a personal level.

Had another pleasant experience today - typically I don’t leave reviews until I’ve had that consistent level of experience and service, and I felt like it hit that mark today being at the winery for the 5th time.

Kates been shadowing the past few times and has been great at picking up the knowledge and expertise in cabs, and wine making in general. Talk about a great addition to the Freemark family!

Freemark Abbey has a gorgeous tasting room, which is spacious and super comfortable. The old redwood center table and redwood planks from the original house on the walls are an excellent touch. The wines here are world class and the staff are amazing! We went here with a group of 5 and felt at home. Highly recommend!

Trey was our server and he was extremely knowledgeable! We had a wonderful time. The wines were spectacular!

We had a large group tasting with Gary and everything was great! His expertise was evident! The atmosphere of the board room was perfect and of course the wine was excellent! And I received my order as planned.

Kim Johnson was absolutely amazing! We showed up last minute due a not so great experience somewhere else got to Freemark about hour before closing and felt really bad. Kim went above and beyond to make sure we got the best experience. The knowledge about the previous owners and original families blew us away. The wine Kim had us try was fantastic and really was unique. Thank you so much Kim we hope to see you and the team again.

Very personal touch. Mr. Bowen took us on a taste tour of Chardonnay wines. We found 3 were very good. Nice building and a restaurant attached. Loved the experience at this historic winery
