Such a beautiful winery and vinyard. The food and wine pairing was delicious and the wines are very nice. They let us try 2003, 1994, and 1988 vintages among many others.

Visited for the Bountiful Table Experience. Fantastic food and wine pairing. Food was incredible, Wine was incredible. Would highly recommend. Andrew was our host and did a great job. Purchased wine and joined the club.

Follow up. Visited again (3 years after original visit). Participated again at the Bountiful Table Experience. Same incredible experience. Different food and different wine as the menu changes seasonally, but still fantastic. Johnathan was our host. He and the rest of the team were great. I highly recommend the experience.

It was a phenominal experience for us. Elena was an amazing host who helped us throughout the whole tasting session and she actually made the experience much better. The wines are prepared in a way that they should be.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Joseph Phelps Vineyard. We came here for our anniversary and got the most beautiful tasting location. Our host, Adrian, was kind, accommodating, and so informative. We loved every single wine on the tasting menu and will absolutely be back.

I have been a fan of Joseph Phelps wines for years and I have been a member of their wine club. This was my first trip to Napa and their winery. It exceeded our expectations. The scenery was beautiful. Outstanding tasting room and facility. The wines were excellent the food pairing was fabulous.

Booking a wine tasting for two at Joseph Phelps Vineyards to celebrate my partner's birthday was an absolute hit, especially for a huge fan of Cabernet Sauvignon like myself! From the moment we stepped in, we were met with warmth and hospitality. Our host exuded friendliness, energy, and a wealth of knowledge that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.

The journey into the history of the vineyards and the captivating tale behind their remarkable wine, Insignia, was truly engaging. Learning about the roots of the winery while savoring their exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon was an experience we won't soon forget. Being a devoted Cabernet Sauvignon fan, I was elated by their selection. The 2019 Delice, Napa Valley, was a sensory masterpiece, offering fragrant gardenia, stone fruit, and delicate tropical notes. Layers of passion fruit, ripe peach, and guava danced on the palate, evoking memories of Canadian ice wine – prompting me to acquire a bottle for my collection.

The outdoor setting allowed us to soak in the breathtaking vineyard views and relish the gentle breeze. We were pleasantly surprised to find cozy blankets thoughtfully provided at the seating areas, ensuring we stayed comfortable even if the weather turned a bit chilly.

Our overall tasting experience was nothing short of great. The combination of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, a knowledgeable host, and the idyllic ambiance left us with smiles on our faces.

Our expectations for Joseph Phelps were high, yet they were completely surpassed. The wines were sublime, with an incredible selection ranging from bubbles to Insignia. Meredith, our guide, was magical—thoughtful, entertaining, and always attentive, allowing us to enjoy our tasting with friends. The interiors are elegant, understated, and warm. Highly recommended. We left with bubbles, Cab, Sauv blanc, and even olive oil—all of which were next level.

Have been a wine member here ever since they completed their new facilities. It’s definitely one of the wineries I take all out of town folks to see. The view is brilliant and the environment is peaceful and quiet.

The staff are all super nice and helpful. They take the time to not just educate us on the wine but how it’s made and what they feel the next batch of grapes may taste like.

If you have time, try to do the Insignia blend class. Learned a lot and had a fun time.

I’m looking forward in finally trying out their food and wine pairing soon some day.

So gorgeous and the wines were fantastic. We went for my partners 30th birthday, and they made a special menu for him and sat us in a secluded area of the patio. Adrian, our host, was so nice and knowledgeable! We took a bottle of the Pinot home and can’t wait to drink it. Will definitely be back.

The Chef's Tasting Menu is an experience. Worth booking well in advance so you get in. The beautiful scenery is something you come to expect in this area after spending some time here, but still worth noting.

Excellent experience. We made the Insignia Company tasting. I highly recommend it. Felipe, our host, was super friendly.

Joseph Phelps is incredible. If you're visiting you probably already know the wine is exceptional but the staff that leads you through the tasting is amazing. To top it off, both the tasting room and terrace are gorgeous. I highly encourage visiting.

If you are in Napa, you must come here. Do a private tasting and ask for Dave. He is just as amazing as the wine! This was the best experience by far!!! Please do yourself the favor and experience it. I will come back here every time I am in Napa. ❤

Our first visit to the Napa Valley and our very first wine tasting ever. Thank you so much Joseph Phelps Vineyards for the unforgettable experience. Your estate is absolutely stunning! Your staff was so incredibly welcoming and kind to us. You really set the bar high! Also, thank you so much for accommodating my children. My cousin sure does work for an amazing company who truly appreciates him. I absolutely love when an Instagram pic of him pops up on your page and I get to see him in action. Thank you for that❤

We had a tasting there a few years back when they were going thru a remodel.
They had trailers setup for tasting and all in all it was still a great tasting.
We will have to visit again since I'm sure the new/remodeled facility is exceptional.
Either way great wines and great people.

We went for the Bountiful Table food and wine pairings today, the chef is as creative as I have seen at any Michelin starred restaurant. The wines paired with each dish were perfect.

Having been 10+ times, I can say you will always learn something new here. The JPV staff is so welcoming and gracious. Definitely plan your trip to the valley around one of their tastings.

One of the most exclusive wineries in Napa valley. Very secluded and uniquely located. Joseph Phelps is definitely known for insignia but a lot of wine lovers will appreciate their Chardonnay as well as Buckus. Definitely recommend it

Out of all the wineries/vineyards we went in Napa, this one was by far the most luxurious looking. But the employees were so kind, humble and caring, that you could never feel out of place! I loved it. You have to make an appointment to do the tastings.. we got there without any appointments so they let us try a sample of their Cabernet wine to make up for it. So nice!!! And the view was amazing!
