DELICIOUS! Go try this place right away! The food is excellent, the service is good and the atmosphere is laid back California and fun. Don’t miss the off-the-menu burger or the the duck fat fries. The cheese board was excellent as well, as was the pork. And their wine offerings are wonderful as well and our waiter had excellent wine pairing recommendations for us. The chef came out to say hi and thank us and was super kind. All in all, a delightful experience. Highly recommend!

Compline Wine Shop was the perfect place to start our Napa trip. Our tasting experience introduced us to all types of wines - local and around the world. The energy was laid back and the map on the wall helped orient us as to where the wines came from. Their in-house sparkling water matched the impeccability of their wine. Highly recommend this tasting room for anyone in Napa - visitors or locals alike. Definitely a 5⭐ experience.

One of my favorite restaurants in Napa! Service & atmosphere on point every time, and the quality of the food is at a premium - sourcing from local purveyors (highest quality meat) vegetarian options available too.

Do yourself a favor and head over to this restaurant and wine bar. On Sundays there are blind wine tastings which is really fun and helps to build your understanding of your personal tastes of wine. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful the whole night. For food, order the duck fries! Maybe even two orders. Everything we had was wonderful!

Great service, AMAZING FOOD, great location. The restaurant looks super well put together, great decor and ambiance. Service was spotless. Food was absolutely great, we got the hamburger, the coconut and tofu soup, and the carbonara finishing off with the brown sugar cheesecake. Amazing.

Matt is so informative about wine! Loved our experience at the bar. We even got lucky enough to try our hand at the Sunday blind tastings Matt puts together.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Compline. We came for the Light Art Festival and the Restaurant Week, and both did not disappoint. Everything we tried was so good including the wine pairing selection. Service was excellent and friendly. We will be back!

We always enjoy our time at Compline. The food is amazing. I'm a vegetarian and I really appreciate when chefs can prepare versatile vegetables. All my other friends rave about the duck fat fries! And the desserts, yum! The atmosphere is inviting and warm, you can take home your favorite bottle of wine from the wine shop in front, too! Last but not least, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and on top of it. We loved sitting at the bar and watching Angel manage 100 things at once without breaking a sweat. You won't be disappointed!

I was recommended this restaurant from a few Napa locals when I was at Grace’s Table restaurant. The restaurant is located in the back corner of the First Street Napa shopping mall. You will walk up to two large doors and the outdoor seating is on your right. When we walked in, we were surrounded by wine and the bar was straight ahead. The greeter found our lunch reservation and we were seated outside. In a few minutes, we had water and menus with a white wine recommendation. Per the locals recommendation, we needed to order the burger and fries cooked in duck fat. We ordered as instructed and the food arrived in about 15-20 minutes. Once you take your first few bites, you’ll understand why the restaurant is so quiet. The food is so darn good! As I my teeth cut through the bacon and patty, I could feel the juice running down the palms of my hands. I closed my eyes to enjoy the bite because I could tell this was a freshly ground hamburger. Between bites I would grab a few fries and catch my wife’s eyes. Without saying a word, we knew this was a true foodie nirvana moment. Now it is time to wrap this review up. Amazing service, check. Large outdoor seating space, check. Wine expertise, check. Friendly vibe, check. Mind blowing food, check.

We got the ny strip with rockfish for our surf and turf meal. Excellent tasting meal, except the service had a lot to be desired.

The waiter left us hanging and decided to have a glass of wine with another table while we were waiting to order.

I understand he probably had an off night but the four of us at the table felt uncomfortable when he didn’t pay attention to us. You know it’s not good when your ladies notice.

Other than the service, I would come back here again. I recommend the rock fish and duck fat fries!

I ordered online for takeout after reading other reviews to order the burger and duck fat fries. I got the burger well done and it was super juicy. I thoroughly enjoyed the food!

Dinner was delicious. The pork belly is highly recommended. Also the Raviolo was delightful, full of flavor.

We were on a girls trip to Napa, and we were looking for a place to celebrate new year's. All the bars were either too loud or too crowded for our taste. And we remembered a waiter who suggested this place earlier. We love the atmosphere and the waiters were all very friendly. We all loved the wines of our choice and loved that the whole bar had a toast when comes 2019! Happy new year!

Great service, atmosphere and delicious food. Decent beer selection for those that aren’t interested in their huge wine options. Tostones app was excellent, the plantain part was worth the whole dish. Had the special for 2- Akaushi New York cut steak. Best restaurant steaks I’ve had. The flourless chocolate cake was great with toffee and caramel.

Here you will find wine all over the world and local wineries as well. For take away bottles 30% discount. The food was delicious. With friends we had lasagna , burger and duck and everything was so gooood. Very cozy, not noisy, absolutely great staff. Average prices for main course 25-35$, wine by glasses 15-17$. It’s better to book, but also nice to stay at the bar if it’s full.

EVERYTHING is excellent!!

The food and service were great. We had the duck fat fries, strawberry salad, and the carbonara with beer and wine for lunch. Everything was so great that we made a second loop around for dinner and had the summer squash and deviled eggs. They didn't miss on a single dish. Even won with the wine suggestion. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
