We recently had the most delightful stay at a charming Napa Valley bed & breakfast. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. We started our adventure with a tasting with Michael. The wines are Fantastic! Michael is so knowledgeable & made our first experience with Napa start off great! The cozy rooms were tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The innkeepers' hospitality was exceptional, providing personalized attention and helpful recommendations. Each morning, we were treated to a scrumptious breakfast from Bouchon Bakery. The beautiful garden and vineyard views added to the overall tranquility of the experience. Without a doubt, this bed & breakfast surpassed our expectations, creating lasting memories of a perfect Napa Valley getaway. We can't wait to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of booking a last-minute stay for my parents at The Setting Inn in Napa, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. As my parents were planning to celebrate my dad's birthday over the weekend in Napa, I found myself scrambling to secure accommodation. Fortunately, I stumbled upon The Setting Inn, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

From the moment I reached out to inquire about availability, Candice, a member of the staff, demonstrated unparalleled kindness and professionalism. Despite my last-minute request, she went out of her way to secure the last available room for my parents. Her willingness to accommodate our needs was truly appreciated, setting the tone for a remarkable experience.

I added the birthday package to our reservation, missing the 72-hour window required for ordering a cake. However, Candice didn't hesitate to offer an alternative solution. She suggested cupcakes as a substitute and assured me that it would be set up before my parents' arrival.

Imagine my surprise when, just before my parents' arrival, Candice sent me photos revealing that she had gone above and beyond. She was able to get a tres leches cake with coffee filling, precisely tailored to my dad's favorite flavors. It was evident that Candice had put thought and care into every detail, transforming a simple birthday celebration into a cherished memory.

After their check-in, my parents couldn't stop raving about their experience at The Setting Inn. They spoke highly of Candice's warm hospitality and the impeccable service. The beauty of their room only added to their delight, providing a serene retreat amidst the picturesque surroundings of Napa.

I am immensely grateful to Candice for making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. What a great experience and stay for our first time in Napa. We saw the balloons in the mornings from our balcony. It was also a delight to see the local wine train pass by at times from our room. The room was absolutely a one of a kind experience. Thank you.

Stayed here for our first visit to Napa. Absolutely beautiful place. The rooms are very comfortable, very modern and the staff does a wonderful job of making you feel at home. I highly recommend the private wine tasting with Michael, he is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. The location is perfect, it's very central to everything. Will definitely stay there again!

Place was perfect, stayed in the Oak Knoll room. View, room, grounds, staff and bouchon breakfast were all perfect. Will be definitely going back.

Hands down the greatest experience I have ever had with a Bed and Breakfast! The Setting Inn is very charming and positioned on a beautiful small farm-like property with a lot of surprises and perks for the hotel guests. We enjoyed a wine tasting that is offered to guests only as well as a great selection of midnight snacks. They also have electric bikes that guests are allowed to borrow, free of charge which we rode throughout the Napa Valley- this may have been my favorite part of the trip outside of the wine. The man working at the front desk also was an angel and made some calls to a few wineries to help us get reservations for tastings. Without him I do not know what we would have done! We also were very impressed with the daily breakfast offerings and pleased to see hot air balloons landing in the field right outside our window. Super comfortable bed and beautiful bathrooms. I definitely recommend!

The Setting Inn offered the most perfect stay on me and my husband's most recent trip to the Napa Valley.

Since we usually stay in Yountville, our one concern was the location and a potential loss of convenience--but we were so wrong. The Setting Inn is very centrally located in Oak Knoll, putting us minutes away from both Yountville and Napa--and therefore still very close to the best tasting rooms, wineries, and restaurants. The Setting Inn is also directly next to the Vine Trail, which is perfect for morning walks or bike rides to town (electric assist bikes are offered complimentary--and they were so fun!)

The Setting Inn is small and quaint: a perfect quiet retreat. We started each day with the complimentary breakfast: Bouchon bakery, fresh fruit, and orange juice delivered directly to our doorstep. The views of the extensive vineyards are breathtaking, and we were able to wake up to the sight of hot air balloons launching nearby every day.

We could really tell the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They upgraded our room since we went during a relatively quiet time & provided daily housekeeping. On the last day, they even delivered fresh cut flowers with our morning breakfast as a nice send-off. One of the property managers also offered us The Setting wine one evening--which was stunning.

Overall, The Setting Inn is one of the best hotels we have every stayed at--and we can't wait to stay again.

Absolutely fabulous! It's a quaint boutique hotel with just a few rooms. It feels very intimate & perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms are large, the furnishings are modern yet comfortable, & beds are oh so comfortable. Breakfast is brought to your door each morning. Perfect location, just 3 mins from Yountville with a wide array of restaurants & tasting rooms in town. We had such a wonderful weekend! This place is a gem & now,one of our favorites!!! I highly recommend a stay!

We had the best time at the Setting Inn! This small Hotel is perfectly located between beautiful wine fields! The sunsets are simply wonderful here! Staff is very welcoming and helpful, especially David made our stay unforgettable! We had an extremely delicious wine tasting with yummy snacks. Rooms are big, luxurious and super clean! WE WILL COME BACK!

Fantastic place! We visited the place on a rainy day, but the view from the cabin was still unbelievably amazing. The staff was very helpful, the room was very nice and we had a fantastic time there. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to go to Napa to visit. It also has some of the nicest vineyards in the country just a few blocks away from the hotel.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage and it was perfect for a girls trip for 4 girls. The breakfast from bouchon bakery was exceptional and such a nice touch.

David and Carlos treated us like queens. David was amazing on our wine tasting and made sure we were taken care of. Carlos made sure we always had coffee readily available and plenty of snacks. He was so sweet and took care of us, anything we needed he was on it and extremely hospitable.

10/10 recommend the setting inn, the wines, location, beds, staff are amazing!

This place was amazing! My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend and wow were we happy with our choice. The accommodations are incredible and all the staff are both very kind and attentive. It’s the small details like them hand delivering breakfast each morning that make you feel special. The surrounding vineyards, the barn, and overall feel really puts you at ease to enjoy your time in Napa. Highly recommend, I know I will definitely by staying here again for my next visit to Napa.

We had an unbelievably great experience here. Together with another couple we booked "The Cottage" a two master suite stand-alone building with beautiful vineyards steps outside the front door. It was beyond my expectations in every little detail from pillows to breakfast from Bouchon delivered to our door every morning. "The Barn" a common area on the grounds, became a social center for guests in the evening. Impromptu sharing/tasting of wines procured during the day's tastings served to create new friendships and was a wonderful, unexpected way to celebrate our Napa Valley adventure.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms are nicely appointed, and the view from our deck overlooked vineyards and allowed us to watch hot air balloons take off on two of the mornings! The staff were courteous and helpful, down to asking if we’d like a picture taken together in their yard.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I was so blown away by this place in every way. From the outside, it is very unassuming, but it did not take very long for our jaws to drop and for our group to fall in love with this place. The rooms are unbelievably beautiful, clean, elegant and homey. Standing on the porch, glass of wine in hand, and looking out at a vineyard with the sun setting had to be the highlight of the weekend!
On top of the wonderful property and feel, the service that David K. provided was in a class of its own. He made us feel like we were at a Michelin Star restaurant. The wine... well let's just say our group went home with several boxes of wine. As we were discussing and debating - "what makes a good wine good?".. the most common answer was "the experience that's attached to it". I think it's fair to say we have found our new favorite wine at The Setting Inn :)

My husband and I recently planned a weekend trip here and were greeted so kindly by our host, Kevin. From the moment we checked-in to the moment we checked-out we were utterly pleased by everything Napa Vineyard Inn provided. Our room was spacious and clean, very comfortable bed! Large bathroom & kitchen area with coffee machine and fridge that's stocked with a couple water bottles, sodas and a lovely bottle of wine all of which was complimentary! Such a nice surprise. The location is unbeatable and the complimentary breakfast brought to the front of our door each morning was absolutely delightful! I will 100% be recommending this place to stay at to anyone I know visiting Napa Valley. My husband and I were so happy with our stay here and thank Kevin again for his wonderful hospitality :)

What a wonderful surprise. We didn't know entirely what to expect when we arrived at The Setting Inn. We knew it'd be lovely but we didn't know HOW lovely. This is a true gem in a place where it's easy to find beauty and good company - meaning it still stands out. It's right in the middle of everything but totally apart from any of the touristy stuff. Beautiful rooms, excellent service, and a cozy setting that is truly special. You'll love the tasting and the breakfast service too. A big thank you to David for making our stay so special. And to Makena as well, who really knows her stuff when it comes to wine - you'll love her introduction to The Setting wine!

My wife and I have had many trips, stayed in many hotels and B&B’s and can honestly say that our room was one of the most comfortable ever. I mean ever. Great nights sleep, convenient mini bar/kitchen and spacious bathroom. Staff was present, but not invasive. Fabulous service.

This was our second time staying there and we loved it even more than the first. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, and comfortable; the inn is peaceful and quiet; the staff is so friendly and attentive; and you’re a short drive away from all of what Napa has to offer.

The Setting has cemented itself as our go-to hotel for whenever we are in Napa.

The location just a few minutes south of Yountville is perfect and so are the rooms. The Bouchon Bakery treats and orange juice delivered to the door every morning made it a great experience, but the heated bathroom floors made it a luxury experience. I didn't use the soaker tub since we were only there a couple of nights, but it was nice to have the separate bath. The staff is the definition of hospitality and made sure we had everything we needed each time they saw us.
