I love staying here. It's close to wineries, camp hosts are friendly and bathrooms are always clean.
The yurts are cute! A bit loud with the road noise though.

Great little park with a network of about 10mi of trails. Be careful, there is a lot of poison oak. It burned in the fires a few years back so you get a bonus fire ecology demonstration if you pay attention to the forest you are hiking through. You should add on the hike down to the grist mill also, that was very interesting.

Beautiful park that is open daily but the visitor center was closed when we were there. We were able to get a trail map at the entrance station. Beautiful to hike along the creek. There is an entrance fee if driving in or you can use a Poppy Pass if you have one. Their website states: The Visitor Center and entrance station are open intermittently when staffing is available.

Beautiful walk/hike in the Redwoods with many other plant species. Well marked trails some of which are along a flowing creek. Similar to Muir Woods National Monument but the Redwoods are taller in Muir Woods. On Xmas day, parking was plenty and hardly anyone on the trails. Google direction is accurate. Pack your lunch and plan to be there for hours walking/ hiking or just sitting by the creek. I did not see any food vendors but the Visitor Center was closed on Xmas. I would definitely go back for a longer hike. Only 30 minutes drive from downtown Napa, well worth it.

Easy online reservations. Full amenities, including flush-toilets and coin-operated showers. Access to a number of excellent hiking trails of various lengths. The site was well maintained, shaded, and had its own recycling bin! Water spigots placed within easy reach and a place at the restroom to wash dishes, if desired.

One of the most cherished places in the Napa Valley to see redwoods, beautiful oak woodland area and chaparral all in one location! Not to mention there are at least four different ways to camp from tent camping, RV, Yurts and cabins!

Such a lovely space. We did the short trail that takes around an hour.

The visitor center opens at 8am, it has some native wild life display and exhibits, there is one staff and a washroom inside the center. There is a $10 parking fee to get into the parking lot. Lot more parking if you keep driving past the visitor center into the park. One can also park on the main street close to the gate of the park, if one would like not to pay the parking fee, we saw many car parked on the main road.

Nice for dry camping. Hiking trails are close by. Only problem is all the poison oak around the campsites.
