Round Pond Estate Winery

Olive oil tasting and wine sipping at the winery! Excellent experience. Variety of olive oils and vinegars - delicious. Our guide was great. Crossed over to the winery, given a couple glasses of wine to enjoy in their vegetable garden. Perfect.

Round Pond is an amazing vineyard. The large palms welcoming you along the driveway are unique yet fitting. From there, it only gets better. The staff is full of knowledge and tips while the chef in the kitchen adds a tremendous touch of passion for his plates. The mustard is amazing. Their juice ? Well, that speaks for itself! All of their wines were very good. I, being a red guy, was delightfully surprised by the Rosato De Nebbiolo. Be sure to take a walk through their farm and pay a little attention to the base of the walking paths... very impressed with all round pond has to offer.

We visited Round Pond for their Il Pranzo experience and Chef Fernando went out of his way to adjust the menu perfectly for my food sensitivities/allergies. The meal was impeccable and every one of my dishes looked exactly like the others. I did not feel like I was missing anything at all! It was one of the best dining experiences of my life. I highly recommend paying Round Pond a visit, not only for their amazing wines and well versed staff, but to meet Chef Fernando and taste his incredible food.

Andres was the absolute best host! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and so generous in providing an exceptional tasting experience! Love Round Pond wines and ambiance!

We had a wonderful time! Joe was a fun tasting host and Guy was a treat at the front door. The wines were lovely and the terrace is a beautiful place to spend a couple hours! I'll definitely be back

Great tasting experience with 4 lovely wines and great views from the terrace. The wines were all great in the Artesian tasting option with 2 nice cheese and meet boards. The views and breeze were wonderful, and we had a great time.

Honestly, every winery after this one will pale in comparison. Cruz, Chefs Katherine and Fernando, the rest of the staff, and wine-tasting experience far exceeded our expectations. The grounds were absolutely stunning with expansive views of the vineyard and mountains. It felt like we were in another world, and we didn’t want to leave. The wine and food is exceptional and made our entire trip. Do not miss the opportunity to visit Round Pond!

Round Pond is probably the prettiest winery I went to on my recent trip to Napa!

Good:
- We had a big group so we got an "event space" which was in the middle of the garden
- Very good service- our server would check in on us a lot and we even got a cute brochure explaining the property and the history
- Nice views and so pretty - lots of photo ops here for our group
- The person who didn't drink in our group got a nice charcuterie board

Bad:
- Only 3 wine tastings for the whole tasting - it's one of the most expensive tastings too so it felt more like we were paying for the views than the wine

Overall I still was a huge fan and would come back sometime!

I visited 9 wineries on my visit to Napa, and although I enjoyed them all, this was my absolute favorite. The estate is beautiful, and the wines, olive oils, and fresh fruits and vegetables it produces are spectacular. Victoria was outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and answered my every question. I had the Taste of the Estate - four wines, three olive oils, and a spectacular charcuterie plate especially designed for my vegetarian diet. This is a family owned winery - some family members still live in a home on the estate - and they raise funds for and donate to the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. I’ve joined their club, and will be back!

I don't hand out 5 stars to ANY establishment, but definitely had a 5 star experience tonight. 5 course meal with wine pairings. Most everything grown locally in their gardens. Both the wine and the food was top notch and I am not a big wine person. The atmosphere was amazing. Definitely recommend.

We did the gourmet experience at the Olive Grove and it was wonderful. We were given an overview of the olive oil making process and our guide was very informative. The tastings were plentiful and eye-opening in the variety offered. The food tastings were truly gourmet and special.would definitely recommend

My wine and oil tasting experience at Round Pond Winery was simply phenomenal! The combination of their exceptional wines and exquisite olive oils made for a remarkable sensory journey. A special shout-out to Joe, a true connoisseur who guided us through the tasting with passion and expertise. His deep knowledge of both the wines and oils added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. The wines were rich, full-bodied, and bursting with flavor, while the oils were smooth and delightfully aromatic. Round Pond Winery, with Joe as part of their fantastic team, offers an unforgettable tasting experience that I highly recommend.

The estate, tasting room and balcony are superb. Our host was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the wines and the region. The wines were delectable and we bought 6 bottles to take home. Overall a very good experience that we are still talking about.

This was one of two wineries my family chose to visit during our first time in Napa. Since we were only staying for a day, I searched high and low for good wineries. Round Pond had been mentioned in a Reddit thread, but not a whole lot of articles.

When I first visited their website (which is awesome) I got a feeling in my gut that this place just seemed right. I checked out their tasting experiences and saw that they charge a reasonable starting price (in comparison to others that charge up to $125) so I booked it through the site (very easy and straightforward, requires a $3 deposit so you don't even pay the tasting fee until after your visit!)

The driveway to the building is gorgeous and made for an incredible introduction. The two people at the front desk were very friendly and guided my family to our table outside. The views are seriously breathtaking and indescribable. Our wine expert, Cruz, also knocked it out of the park. He was so informative about the growing/bottling process all the way down to the type of soil used when growing grapes. Any questions or concerns we had, he was happy to answer.

There are also some 1-star reviews that mention that only 3 wines are provided during the tasting and that it seemed too expensive. In my personal experience, we received 4 wines to taste and we were allowed to sample a Sav Blanc when we got on the subject about how it is aged. Along with Cruz giving detailed explanations of each wine and their unique characteristics, I think the price of the tasting is well justified.

I apologize for my verbosity in this review, but it truly was an incredible experience. So much that the next winery we went to failed in comparison to Round Pond. If we had known, we would've just stayed there as long as we were allowed. If I ever find myself in Napa again, I will definitely be coming back :)

Great view! We loved the outdoor seating area where we were able to watch the sunset. It was very peaceful and beautiful.

Went to Round Pond yesterday, and could not have had a better experience. Our host, Juan, is so knowledgeable, not only about the wines we tasted, but also about the history of the property and winery. We had a beautiful cheese and charcuterie plate with jams and honey from the estate. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Beautiful property, beautiful wines. Highly recommend.

Once again our visit to Round Pond was awesome. We did the Artisan tasting and the food was delicious as well as the 4 wine parings. I must single Joe out who made our experience memorable again. His hospitality, professionalism and knowledge of wine were what made our visit with our friends! He was fun to be with and our visit was awesome! I highly recommend this winery for its great wine and natural beauty. What a setting!!!!
