I do love preserved nature areas!

Tacoma's gulches are fun to explore . Right now this park has skunk cabbage in bloom as well as salmon berry blossoms 🌸. Wear boots or washable shoes. Much wilder place than Puget gulch. Saw a deer 🦌.

As parks go. Not bad. Take the kid's see the plants & deer.
Remember pack out what you bring in. Have fun.

A lovely little park with playgrounds, picnic tables, and Ingress/Pokemon portals.

Get out and play!

Cool little nature area with a trail down a gully by a creek. I just wish they would do something about the overgrown invasive weeds. There's loads of brambles and ivy.

I suggest you manage your expectations when going here. It doesn't have a trail running through it like the other parks in Tacoma, but that doesn't make it bad. It is a place for exploration and connecting with nature. Enjoy what the park has to offer and don't expect what it doesn't. Enjoy.

Interesting Park the trail is overgrown a lot of the area is muddy be prepared to duck download to even get through the trail this park is not maintained although the trail does go for pretty long ways it twists and whines through a swampy type area it's pretty much a ravine undisturbed with lots of plants and wildlife unfortunate this trail is not maintained it could be a really beautiful walk but unfortunately it's hard to navigate and will be uncomfortable for most people.

I wish it was fenced in from the main street to make it safer for kids.

Unique, quiet, secluded. One trail...

Path difficult to follow (I never did find the upper end, if there was one). Logs down in several areas. Possible nettles near one stream crossing. Definitely needs some tender loving care.
