I have gone to St. George Community Church for at least the last ten years. I have many close relationships with the members there. There is great love and compassion . I have never felt so inspired to read the Bible and to witness for our Lord as I have since Pastor Ray Schroeder has was called to be our Pastor. His teachings are strictly Biblical and his messages that God places with him are inspiring ! I love to listen to them and take the message with me into my week. St George Community Church is a blessing to me and I am so grateful God led me to it.

I have been attending this church for several years. The college students that we allow to park FREE Monday through Saturday are very considerate and we are happy to be able to offer our parking lot to them.

The lot has a very prominent sign regarding the parking situation. The disgruntled person who was upset because his car was towed on a Sunday stated there were several empty spaces. Maybe so. That doesn't mean that everyone who was attending that day had gotten there yet. During Sunday School, when the attendance isn't as great, yes, there will be empty spaces, but by the time the main service begins at 11 AM, the lot is usually full.

Our church welcomes EVERYONE. We aren't perfect, but if you're looking for a perfect church, forget it! However, if you want to attend a church that will welcome you with open arms, I invite you to St George Community Church.

I would like to make a comment to the person who posted about the car getting towed. I go to St. George Community and I remember what happened with this. For those who don't know much about St. George Community Church, it is a mostly senior congregation and we are located across the street from Dixie State University. We have a policy that students can park at the church as long as it isn't on Sunday mornings because of how small our parking lot is and because many of the people have problems with walking and getting around. I was one of the people that he talked to and I explained to him that there are signs all over the place that there is NO Sunday parking unless you are attending church.

Our church is one of the most loving and kind churches around. Not only does the church allow students to park free of charge except on Sundays, we also hand out free water, free meals, free wifi connections, television, coffee among other things. There is NEVER a fee for anything that we offer to the students or the community. When this person came up and asked me about his car, I told him why it is important to leave those spots for those attending church. Just as I am talking to him, 4 of our church members that were over 80 had to park their cars in a parking lot that is owed by the college. They had to manipulate stairs and one person had to be walked around the corner since they had to cross a busy street. They had have help with walking.

This gentleman was told this and he couldn't understand what the problem was. When I pointed out what the problem was and I was being very nice since I needed to be more of an example of Christ instead of telling him point blank what I thought. The University charges students to park and 99 percent of the time, the students abide. He stated it was only 90 minutes and just this once which is not true. It may have been how long on this particular Sunday, but I do Missions and Outreach for the students and there were many times I would head out to my car so I could go home, and this person and his friends were hanging out in the parking lot and being very loud. He was not told he had to leave. Sunday mornings are the exception. For safety reasons, we have to have the spaces available to those who can't park across the street and crossing over busy roads and climbing stairs. I told him I realized it was inconvenient and that I'm sorry that it would cost him to get his car back. But, he must pay attention to the signs. They are there for a reason. That parking lot only has about 50 spaces. There are times when those attending church will have to park in the parking lot next to ours that is owned by the college. The college has approved this since we allow their students to park in ours. but, kindness shouldn't be taken advantage of and when it comes to the safety of our older church members, they need closer parking.

The Pastor at St. George Community Church is a very loving and kind person. He will do anything for anyone. He has a heart for God and never expects anything in return. But, in my opinion, just because a person is a Christian or a pastor, it doesn't mean that people should take advantage of someone or a church. Pastor Ray and our church reaches out to the community and gives until there is no more to give. I have contemplated on if I should comment to this or not, and I felt it was the right thing to do and since he is the one who talked to me also. I was aware of what was going on. Pastor Ray was leading the Sunday School Lessons for the adults. So, he wasn't even out there. I get defensive when people don't say the truth and both sides and when they do reviews, they are only doing it to hurt others. I will pray for him and hope that he finds it possible to really get to know the people there. He is judging the Pastor and the people of St. George Community Church because he refused to read signs or didn't think they applied to him.

Please read second part to this review since I wrote too many characters. The remainder will describe the pictures.

I have been attending this church since 1995. This church has the most caring and selfless people in it. The pastor is fantastic and is centered on teaching the Bible only. This is truly a biblical church and I absolutely love it!

I have been attending this church for a long time. When I first moved here it was the first church we attended and loved it!! We moved here about 21 years ago :) I love the fact that the location is accessible for college students since it is located right across the street!! They're not s long service, but you leave feeling rejoiced and loved by the people attending this church. Very welcoming!!

Pastor Ray is a good man. We have served this church for over 7 years now as one of our customers. Every interaction with them has been exemplary as fellow Christians. Thanks for being good people!

Worse church ever for real. I have always had it in mind that pastors are always kind, helpful, thoughtful. Apparently thats not the case; my car was parked there for 1hr 30mins and it was towed for not being a member. This isnt the church to be at all. One of its member was even schocked hearing it was towed cause there were just about 6cars in the whole big parking lot. Fine had it been it was towed because its members couldnt find a place to park but that wasnt the case. Then i came talking to the pastor and he was like it is what it is. So rude of him. Bad organization. Pl

I went in hoping for the best. However, I came out thinking this is a very un-Christ like Church. They claim to study the bible and live by its teachings when in reality they do not. They are not about helping others at all. I would not recommend this church to anyone. I felt judged and the leadership was very poor.
