Tantalum Restaurant

Great high-end restaurant on the water. Lots of cool Asian themed statues and decor. 2 bars and lots of seating including a lounge area with couches. We had the Beef n' Chips which are short rib, duck fat fries, which were delicious. The bar we sat at had a great view of the water, boats, an apartment building with docks. Good people watching. The waitstaff seemed a little stressed, but that didn't effect the service. We got our drinks and food in a timely manner. It is a little pricey, so we ended up going somewhere else after about an hour. I'd go back for sure for an anniversary or Valentine's.

My favorite restaurant in Long Beach so far this trip! Filling portions of delicious food and service. Highly recommend the beef and chips, it’s literally a meal in itself! The pad thai was okay but I didn’t care for the dark pieces of chicken meat and some cartilage that I got. And dark chocolate lava cake dessert was decadent and so yummy.

Met up with a friend for dinner. Nice place, on the pier overlooking the river.

Place wasn’t packed - Thursday evening was perfect to catching up. Less people and more attentive waitress. Who was very friendly by the way.

My friend visited this restaurant a few times, so she recommended a few things.

I wouldn’t say pricey, average price. Lots of food for the price as well. I couldn’t finish my meal in one setting. You definitely get a lot of food.

My friend did order the Kobe Burger which was pretty big. She enjoyed her meal.

I basically ordered fried rice. Very fulfilling and delicious. Lots of food too. Ordered the strawberry lemonade not too sweet just right.

View was nice. Parking is free. I would recommend dining at Tantalum.

It's a hidden gem! Food, service and atmosphere is so nice. They have a great selection of dishes that are an infusion of seafood Aztec- Mediterranean. Plenty of wines to help pair with your entree.
This place is tucked back in behind an office like building and you would never know it was there. It's a great place to be by the ocean while your enjoy each other company. A fabulous place for a date night.

We had a wonderful date night here. Alyssa was a shining star server- attentive and kind. The food was good, especially the macaroni and cheese in the skillet. The house salad was large and fresh. The outdoor seating was kept comfortable with awnings, heaters, and mood music.

The vibe, service, and food was spectacular. They had live music which enhanced our experience.

This is a cozy place right next to the shoreline where you can enjoy a water view. The bloody orange margarita was tasty and the mimosas were nice when you purchase the entire bottle since we got orange, pineapple and cranberry juices to choose from. The food was really good but each meal was enough for two people to share as everyone took half of their meal home. The waiter was nice and even the busboy was very attentive and asked to remove dishes which kept our table clean. The only down side was the hostess was not very friendly when seating us so glad it was a brief interaction for our visit.

Tantalum is one of my favorite restaurants in Long Beach. It's right on the water. The ambiance and scenery is amazing. It's a great place to go on a romantic date. They have a live band there which really set the mood. And they also have a Big screen TV at the bar if you would like to watch the game. Also... Amazing backgrounds to take beautiful pictures. The service was great a well. Check it out... you won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite spots to eat. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's on the water and they have live music on Wednesday evenings. You would not know that this place exists based on the location (in a strip mall).

This particular time we went for my daughter's birthday and the band was kind enough to sing her Happy Birthday. 😊

Love this hidden gem tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza. Beautifully designed tropical themed oasis restaurant with beautiful views of the marina. Love the fusion take on Asian food here, desserts are great and still need to try all the cocktail drinks on the menu🍹. Would be great if they expanded their menu for more food options. Last time came here on a whim and they had live music, it was awesome!

Food was tasty and the drinks were exotic and beautifully served. The weather was perfect for outside seating. They have a deck, so you can arrive in boat as well.

I didn’t think I would like Asian fusion but it was so good ! Calamari was the best !

Everything was fantastic, my steak was perfect, the fries amazing and the drinks were great. Even had desert which everyone loved. Hope to be a regular. About $350. For four people including 3 wines and 2 blood red margaritas .

There was a two hour wait for seating in the upper level so we got a window seat on the main floor and still had a great view of the marina. The food was fantastic. I ordered the crispy tofu and it was the best tofu I’ve had to date. I would definitely order it again. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Super cool spot, beautiful fun decor. Tucked in a corner so as you walk in, it feels like your transported somewhere else. We sat on the patio. The bar has lots of high top tables so be aware if staff try to sit you there. Live music in the bar - we sat outside so we could talk. It was beautiful outside. Cold and they had heaters, though we were very chilly being on the water. Food and drinks are absolutely incredible!! Fast fast service

One of Long Beaches best kept secrets! The food is top notch along with the drinks 🍸 The calamari is a must have but everything on the menu is flawless!

I always have a great time… A great place to relax, socialize, eat good and enjoy the scenery. Ive told several mature, down-to-earth friends about this place! Definitely a hidden gem, please dont go with bad energy and ruin the vibe!
