Gelson's Long Beach

Gelson's is like a grocery store on steroids. They offer healthier optioms and many organic options as well. The grocery selection is also quite nice. I must say what I really enjoy there are the hot bar, salad bar and carving station. How many other Grocery stores boast a carving station? Not many, their food is great, the quality is great, the staff is great. The prices are little higher than normal. But for what you're getting. I think it's well worth it. I love the store!

Great selection. Wish there was one in Downtown Long Beach so I didn’t have to travel so far. Better than the Von’s off Broadway though and worth the trip.

Lovely supermarket，I like the poke dish assemble by your fever and can take out went to front doors or 2nd floor cozy place to eat. You can select salad、BBQ chicken、fly chicken、hand made pizza⋯⋯etc，it is a special supermarket！Here is very nearby mother beach，we can pick up delicious food from here to picknic！

I stopped in the wine bar at Gelson's Long Beach for a quick bite. Brooke welcomed me in and made me feel right at home. The cabernet she suggested was spot-on and the burger was delicious.

Everyone was very busy day before Thanksgiving but so helpful and in such a good mood! I was so excited to be able to purchase a half of a cooked turkey breast! Did not need it but I bought it anyway!

It was beautiful and staff very friendly- I love that there is a wine bar with food, can’t wait to go back!

Gelsons.... highly priced, high quality and as you all know., you pay for what you get. The chocolate decadent cake is the best, I only get my Macaron's here!! Omg I want to go right now just thinking about it. Love love the hot food as well as there meats. But you have to pay for quality. If you can afford, you will not be disappointed... I promise you.

This really is"The Super Market"!!! Gorgeous ideal store with just about everything you could ask for. A big YES!

The location is also very nice. Just of of Coast Hwy at 2nd St across from the Marina.

2nd is one of the des tinations to visit in Long Beach... Nearby Mother's Park is a nice place to picnic or have a lunch with Gelson's fine selections. Of course you could eat on the patio in front of Gelson's if you would like to get the some fresh air and California sunshine..

Andy, the cheese man, he gets all the stars. He was knowledgeable and friendly, our interaction showered in customer service and delicious cheese! Need a recommendation, he’ll take you on a tour. Give Andy the cheese wheel and he’ll take you for a ride.

What stood out to me my last shopping spree was how nice and helpful Marc the produce guy was and what good customer service skills “tall Jonathan” had

I remember how friendly the employees were. They offered to help me out to my car with my groceries. They bagged my groceries so that they were easy for me to carry.

The white bean chicken soup is tasty. The vegetarian pizza is always my favorite. The crust is fantastic.

Staff was very friendly. I found everything I needed quickly. Good prices on the things I came for (spinach and dinner rolls).

The woman at the sushi counter is always so wonderful. She remembers my order and even remembered my son! She’s such a delight to visit with and makes the best spicy tuna rolls.

Great customer service, outstanding produce, wonderful selection of hard to find items, clean and beautiful store, and delightful shopping experience.

Everything is clean with no obstacles in aisles like in other stores. All the food looks fresh and great

The food I purchased from the prepared section was delicious. Enjoyed pastries from Renaud’s as well.
