Finding a good hairdresser is as hard as finding a good spouse.. but it's easy to find your match made in heaven at Seven Four Seven. The salon has been completely renovated and is homey and welcoming.
Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is always fun. More importantly, everyone who works here is the best of the best and so talented. This has been my salon of choice for years and I highly recommend!

I love getting my haircut by Jessie! She originally did a “big chop” for me back in 2021…and she still cuts my hair! I love what she does with my curls and her fades are unmatched. She has also colored my hair and really makes me feel awesome.

After going to salon after salon- I was desperately needing a hairstylist who knew what they were doing and had recommendations for what I should be doing with my hair! I got a recommendation on Facebook for Jessie at Seven Four Seven Salon, and she EXCEEDED my expectations! Her knowledge on hair and curls were incomparable to others. She was SO kind and extremely personable during the whole appointment! The salon in general was also adorable. The environment was extremely cozy, and very clean. Although I can’t speak for the other stylists there, I’m sure they’re just as great. I couldn’t recommend Jessie more though. I am so happy to have finally found my go to salon, and go to person!

The owner of Seven Four Seven salon, Sydney, has been my hairstylist since 2016. I have received a large variety of hair services from her over the years, and I have been duly impressed with all of her work. Her skills as a stylist are top-tier, and she has a wonderful knack for friendly conversation as well. I always look forward to my appointments.
I was thrilled when Sydney assumed ownership of the Seven Four Seven salon space. The remodel has converted the salon into a warm, friendly place where one can relax and feel pampered.

Stop your search and book your appointment with Sydni Maughan! She's super nice and relatable to have conversations with which makes time fly by when she does your hair. She's cut my hair and un-dyed my hair (from blonde to my natural dark hair) and does an amazing job every time!
All of the salon's staff are also very courteous and attentive. Love the overall vibe of the place too!

My visits to Seven Four Seven never disappoint! Not only is the space beautiful with the best vibe - Amanda is a miracle worker. She always delivers with the color, cut, and style I’m looking for. So glad I found a place in Tacoma that I can trust and enjoy coming to for all my hair needs!

Jessie Gatlin has been my stylist for over 4 years and she is the BEST!

Sydney does it all! She has been doing my hair for well over 11 years now and I wouldn't have it any other way! I moved away 6 years ago and still make it point to maintain my appointments with her, even if it's an hour drive for me (she is worth it!). I always leave the salon loving what she does to my hair. She has helped me maintain a very healthy head of long blonde hair. I have naturally curly hair, she has helped my find the right products to use. I wanted my hair cut short (classic mistake) and then I wanted it long so she did my extensions. She has really taken the time to understand what my hair needs and make sure I understand why it is important that I pay attention to that particular factor. I can't say enough great things about her! If you are looking for a new stylist book with her immediately!

This salon is so well run, all the girls that work here kill it and have so much fun every time I’m in. My wife and all her friends see Sydney, but everyone in here is top notch.

I went to Jessie Gatlin for a much desperately needed curly haircut and she is truly the answer to all of my hair prayers, maybe even my hair fairy godmother (except her hair magic does not expire at midnight!).

I spent a year getting maintenance trims while growing out an undercut, so I was overwhelmed with ideas for how I wanted to revive my hair once it grew out to an acceptable length. I figured I’d give some broad ideas I had and defer to her judgment once we met and bless her, she totally understood what I was going for within mere sentences! I’ve never felt such immediate trust and comfortability in a stylist.

It’s insane how much you dont realize your hair impacts your self esteem when it’s been in a state for some time. I could feel my personality getting bigger (or rather, coming back) as she cut off all this length and I watched her transform my hair. My cup truly runneth over with joy once it was complete! I felt like a whole new woman and I could not stop checking myself out. Hell, I’m still checking myself out!

I truly did not and still don’t know how to act since. I’ve been riding this high all week, and honestly I may never come down from it! Not just a sign of a fantastic haircut, but of an even more fantastic stylist. She’s incredibly kind and you can tell she’s passionate about her craft and her clients. I cannot recommend her enough! BEST HAIR SALON EVER! If you have thick coarse textured hair ask Lexy to do your hair. She will not disappoint. She cut my hair and I absolutely love my hair!
