Tinga Fresh Mexican & BBQ

I come here routinely for lunch on my lunch period from school. This place is very accommodating and serves quickly. I’ve become a regular local at this spot over any other place in this area. I love this place. Burritos are an excellent portion size. The quesadillas have chicken that retain the perfect amount of tenderness. This place has a variety of toppings that are both traditional and unconventional you can add to make your meal pop. You also need to try the flan. I know a good flan when I taste one. This is a staple in the area that you have to try.

Found this Mexican restaurant by accident while originally heading elsewhere. Ate dinner on their colorful patio with plants. The server was friendly and quick, and I really enjoyed the meatless Nachos Grande and creamy Jalapeno Poppers. The Vegetarian Tinga Chili Burrito was decent, and the Avocado Frita Tacos were a bit bland until we added tomato salsa, which made them taste awesome. The House Salad was disappointing and not worth $7.75. Overall, I was pleased with the service and taste. Prices are moderate, averaging around $30 or more.

No internet or entertainment for kids. If you're on the patio in the evening, watch out for mosquitoes. No wi-fi, Parking is on the roadside.

Food is delicious and the portions don't leave me hungry while not being too much. Salsa always tastes fresh. Price is reasonable for such a posh neighborhood. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic dining experience! We had a most wonderful host who welcomed us and told us about the menu. The food was fantastic! Do yourself a favor and get the BBQ tacos or the burrito. Delicious, flavorful, filling. Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Went again this Sunday. Same excellent food and service people who always treat me so well. Especially love my favorite Chicken Tinga Burritos. I also love the outdoor seating. My favorite light & fast Mexican food place.

Food here was delicious and served up super fast. We didn't wait for a table and the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful! Portions were super large - the steak tacos were over flowing and served on heaps of rice and beans. We ordered the "bar sized" burritos because they were smaller (we had eaten a few too many chips with their delicious homemade salsa) and we still couldn't finish them. Finally, we also ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was stuffed filled of their delicious grilled chicken and cheese.

Food is very good but the service is even better. Love their spinach & mushroom quesadillas. They are so huge you can literally share with someone. House guacamole is always made fresh and it’s always very Good.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and the food is always good and always consistent!

Best Mexican food in the area, no question. Reasonable prices, the BBQ brisket burrito is one of a kind.

Delicious. Lots of unique dishes I haven't seen at other places (like fried avocados, which were awesome with the dip). Also, the burritos were huge. Genuinely the size of like, two burritos

We had dinner here last night! Great service and good! Our favorite dessert is the flan, made fresh daily! We order the BBQ sliders-they are delicious! He showed us the patio, all set up for outdoor eating! We can’t wait! 🤩

Very nice and accommodating for our slightly large group on a weeknight. Great outdoor sitting area. The byob was also great with their virgin margaritas (adding in your own tequila) although they were def on the very sweet side.

Food always on point, normally a takeout person but was in person for once. Would do again.

We just hosted a baby shower in Tinga's backyard patio and it couldn't have been more perfect. We were concerned about it being too chilly in early March, but they prepared with multiple heaters that kept the space super warm and comfortable. From the beginning, David was so responsive and easy to work with via email and phone. On the event day the staff, especially Karim, was fantastic and so attentive and accommodating to all of us. I cannot tell you how many guests commented on how great the service was. We could not have been more pleased with our decision to host our event there and highly recommend it!

They are amazing! Not only is the food the best Mexican around but the staff are incredible! I accidentally ordered for pickup and forgot about it until after 9 when they close. They ended up delivering after they closed realizing my error. Thank you so much!

Love this place. We go here every other Tuesday with the kids. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food for what it is. Seriously though the chicken in the chicken burritos is always super fresh and juicy. The kids love going here too and they have a special for kids on Tuesday nights.

Walked in while working ordered my lunch about 12 mins later sat down and had a fantastic carna sada burrito. Chips are lightly salted 👍🏾👍🏾 the orange frozen drink was phenomenal. I'm gonna pass out lol

The food was delicious, the service was amazing. The staff was very friendly. My kids loved the street chicken tacos, the dessert was delicious. The nachos were really good, everything you order from Tingas is delicious you won't be disappointed. 😊
