Happy Garden Sacramento

Traveling from North Dakota and was really wanting twice cooked pork. This restaurant popped up as number one in the area for it. The meal was excellent. The server was very attentive and explained the process for dining there as I had not been to a similar establishment before. She explained different items on the menu and even gave me delicious recommendations. I enjoyed the experience. I loved the ambiance and how nicely decorated the restaurant was for events. I definitely will return. If you like spice I recommend stopping by and trying their twice cooked pork!

My family and I have been coming here for years. They are wonderful and the food and service are always the best! I don't live as close as I used to but travel from North Laguna to eat there now. You can ask my kids what they want, and they won't say Panda Express or anything else they will say "Happy Garden". I'll ask if they want the one in Elk Grove or Sacramento. They always say Sacramento. That's because no other place can beat it! My family will always enjoy Happy Garden Sacramento and will support their business as much as we can. See you next time! Had a party of 8. Food was served right on time one dish 2 dishes. Food was hot awesome tasting. Would go back in a heart beat. Couldn't have been any better. The food was just delicious. We had a 8 course dinner.

Been eating here for 12 years. Always delicious. Best dim sum selection in Sacramento. Family owned. Also a great place for large dinner gathering or celebrations. They decorate the place beautifully for special events

The food was excellent! Service was also excellent. They even gave us dessert on the house. Staff was very nice, huge facility, and it is great for events. Chomping was perfect!

First time going here today after driving past it for many years. We stopped in for dim sum in the afternoon. It was pretty busy when we got there. Luckily the parking lot is big. The place is huge and very clean. We were seated right away and the carts were flowing. We got the standards and saw a lot of new dishes to try. We left extremely full, as we tend to do when going to dim sum. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stopped in for dinner amd some dimsum with my siblings. Food came out fast and was good. They weren't too busy when we visited. Will definitely stop in again for when we're back in Sacramento or in the area.

Great dim sum restaurant excellent selection food was hot and they used a little carts to wheel it around which is always fun and the only reason I gave it a ding was we ordered an item that took extra long to get but otherwise everything was on point for a great dim sum experience

Whether you are dining for dim-sum or lunch or dinner or attending the banquet the food comes out delicious and authentic chinese cuisine are always hearty and delicious for everyone. Great food in little Saigon local family owned and run love Fiona as she makes sure guests are happy and welcome

This place has amazing dim sum and we eat plenty of dim sum at many places. It’s made fresh, juicy, and perfect seasoning. Im from out of town and had a craving for it at 4:30pm on a Sunday, called around a few places like Asian pearl but they ran out so decided to give place a try. My craving is now satisfied. will definitely come back and highly recommend their dim sum!

My sister and I are in town for my surgery tomorrow. I have been craving dim sum for quite some time. I googled places near our hotel and New Happy Garden was close by and looked good, so we decided to give it a try (Tuesday about 5:50pm). There were only about 4 other tables with customers besides us dining in. My goodness......The food was amazing!!!! The waitress was very helpful and attentive. Needless to say, we ordered way too much but my sister will be the lucky one to enjoy the leftovers while I'm in surgery tomorrow. We ordered steamed pork buns, Sui Mai, shrimp dumplings, pork turnover (this was our absolute favorite), pork fried rice (amazing and loaded with BBQ pork) and one other dim sum that I don't remember the name. If you go you won't be disappointed. If we are ever out this way again, we will definitely be back for another visit.

Very beautiful and spacious place. Service was polite and timely. Portions were large and food came out quickly. Beautiful decorations and wasn't crowded without reservations and there wad no wait. Decent prices.

Huge restaurant venue. Love how spacious it was and the separation of distance between tables. When my family came in for lunch on a Sunday in Oct. 2023, there was a portion they were doing a wedding reception as well. Push carts from employees who has various dishes and servings for you to grab. They could have come by more frequently but still good. In addition affordable prices for a party of seven.

I love their baked bbq pork buns pork turnovers and the sesame seed balls. These items are on their dim sum menu.All of the food is good though. I live in North Sac but I drive all the way to South Sac for their food its so good.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had, hot and fast. Fresh food and there's a cart that runs by.
