I didn’t go for a hair appointment. Rather, I went to look at the shop, and I was not disappointed. It was cozy, everyone was helpful and lovely to talk to, the smell wasn’t overwhelming, and everything was reasonably priced. As a broke witch, that last bit is really important—I can’t afford a pricey tarot deck or cauldron, so I make do with what I can get my hands on. In this shop, I was able to find miniature tarot and oracle decks for around $12-15, and they had the same gorgeous quality as their larger counterparts. I will come back with more money if I can!

Had my first haircut with Megan. There was no wait, she was incredibly professional and extremely communicable in understanding exactly what I wanted. She did a fabulous job on my cut and has my business for the long haul. Her shop is filled with incredible products including tarot cards, jewelry, books, and intentional living essentials. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience. Megan did a great job and clearly cares about her clients. The shop was very cute and clean and the aesthetic was very warm like you're visiting the house of a kitchen witch. The pricing on everything was extremely reasonable. It was my first time coming in and I will absolutely be back in 8 weeks.

Protip: Schedule ahead of time on their website. Also the apothecary portion is open Sat & Sun.

I absolutely love this space in downtown Tacoma. A beautiful selection of tarot cards, books, dried herbs, and other witchy items with a full service salon. Queer and locally owned, has online scheduling, and everyone is very friendly. Megan is a hair goddess and somehow manages to be one of the most effortlessly cool and incredibly genuine people I know. Highly recommended! Paid street parking and lots of antique shops and restaurants nearby.

I absolutely love Lane in the salon. She’s been doing my hair for 4 years now and I would never trust anyone else. I have never left unhappy! On top of that, the shop itself is a really neat place! The entire staff here is really great!!

Lexi is my go-to hair person forever and this is her new home, so it's my new jam for hair cuts as well. I got my first cut/color with her at this location a few days ago and it was such a comfortable place. The stylists are all really good about social distancing and masks (Lexi and the other stylist were actually working with clients in different rooms of the salon), and plus there was a fun bookstore built-in so I got a book about runes while I was there. :D These folks bring a really calm and welcoming atmosphere, so if you need a place to get your hair done but also have some anxiety (just generally or specifically because of "the COVIDs"), I would highly recommend this salon.

Megan did a beautiful job as always! I got a platinum root touch-up and some layering added to my shoulder length hair. I feel like a million dollars everytime I walk out of there.

Megan is AMAZING and affordable. I love the color she choose for me and the cut was spot on. She is the best kept secret in Tacoma and I almost want to keep her that way so I can have her all to myself!

Still the best cut and style for me 2 1/2 months in! Love ❤ Even better another 2 months later!

Lexy at Poppylion is amazing. Not only is she fun but she seriously works hair magic. She does my hair and the hair of multiple friends and we all have different styles and textures. She nails it every time! We love Lexy!

I love everything about this place and also had an amazing cut from Megan. I bought a curly hair balm that's become my favorite hair product and all their witchy stuff is on point.
