We found this hidden gem in the heart of desert hot springs. The food was absolutely amazing!! Everything was handmade! The handmade tortillas were delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. It felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen. Authentic Mexican food you must try this location you won't be disappointed. Had a late lunch here. It was delicious, and the gentleman (owner?) who waited on us was enthusiastic, helpful, and efficient. We ordered the Nachos with Steak and the Chicken Tacos Combination. All excellent.

Don Taccorriendo was fantastic!!!!! Run by husband & wife team, their food is made w LOVE. We had tacos, a plum fresco(YUM!!!!) frijoles, salsas & fresh chips. All were A+++. The place felt cozy & home-like. I would highly recommend.

The tacos here are incredible, especially the l pastor. The food is very good and it's run by a sweet elderly couple. I just wish the bathroom was a little cleaner.

The wife and I traveled from Riverside to DHS to buy a vintage table and came upon this jewel when we headed back home. We found wonderful authentic food and warm and friendly service. Reasonable prices and a relaxed place to eat. If we are ever back in the area we will defiantly stop by. Give them a try small but nice.

Super delicious and cooked with a lot of pride and hard work for the owners of this establishment. The seafood here is good. Generous in serving size as well. The fried tacos are crisp and creamy in the inside the seafood wet burritos verde salsa is a great combination of flavor. Highly recommend coming here.

Purely Mom and Pop Mexican restaurant. Great fresh food. Don’t be in a hurry for quality food. Nice clean dining room with cool tables.

Order the guacamole with chips. You won't be disappointed. Owner is very nice and helpful and treats you right. Good enchiladas, excellent refried beans.

Don is a kind, small business owner, who goes above and beyond to please his customers. He works in the kitchen and greets his customers 6 days a week! He serves authentic Mexican food. The Restaurant has a spanish style setting. Quick service, large portions and reasonable prices. He and his wife offer a variety of unique specialty dishes. This place brought me back to my Ensenada and Puerto Nuevo memories! Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Need I say more?? The pictures will speak for themselves!! We stumbled across this place after arriving for a weekend stag-do. It’s a homey joint operated by a warm, welcoming husband and wife team, and the food is fantastic. Dinner was so good, we returned the next day for breakfast, which was also excellent.

This place is everything. One of the best spots I have tried in southern CA - which is MANY. Owners are the friendliest and sweetest people - they had closed early when we got there but Andres popped outside to welcome us in and take our order anyway. The food is amazing - the chiles gueritos are a must, we loved the carne asada burrito, and the guac is incredible. Not to mention the homemade tortillas on the side. It’s all amazing. Go spend all your money here.

The food was great! It was fresh and made to order down to the chips and guacamole. And reasonably priced... I went right before dinner time started so it was quiet. Everything was clean and the service was great. Thanks for an outstanding meal.

My sister and I came here stopping through on our travels. We are from Illinois and while in California we have went to multiple taco places to compare and have great tacos. Tacos in Joshua Tree, 29 Palms, Laguna Beach, LA, but the tacos here at Don Tacorriendo were some of the most fresh, authentic tacos we have ever had in our life. They are so extremely sweet, and everything is priced so great. Thank you both for an amazing meal!!! Well worth “Tipping the bill”

Great burrito! The salsa was good too. The red salsa was sooooo spicy, but I loved it. Will definitely go back when I'm in town.

A sweet delight of wife/husband combo, we had some vegetarian tostadas — it was super simple but so fresh and tasty . Also had the grilled shrimp. This place warmed my heart :)

We are staying at a local hotel. We stopped by to get our food to take back to the hotel. The food was wonderful, authentic Mexican. We loved it. The older gentleman who helped us was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you for an awesome experience.

We were visiting from Washington we saw the building and were a little put off but please ignore it. We walked in and immediately were greeted with smiling faces other customers saying how amazing it was we don't speak the best Spanish but they were instantly talking to us trying to teach us. Just incredible all around we will be back in our short week stay.

Run by a man and his wife who is the cook. This Mexican spot if definitely a great place for a meal. Very casual, nothing fancy. Quick service and tasty food. Lots of options in the menu.
