Baked & Brewed Café

Just like Newcastle produce I get excited when I see baked and brewed on the route sheet for our bicycle rides. The entire old Auburn area is really very eclectic. Baked and brew has a wide variety of baked goods, generous portion sizes and great coffee in an awesome staff. What's really especially good is that they have a lot of room to sit outside in the sun where you can warm yourself and enjoy your coffee and scone.

Exploring Auburn today and found this wonderful locally owned place to check out. Unique vibe that is enjoyable. Feels really homey and relaxed here. They staff has been super nice and did not miss a beat in prepping my order and making sure I had everything I need. Food and tea were delivered to my table quickly.

Located on the main street through town, the shop is located among other interesting art and even a sidewalk local founder's "walk of fame". Parking wasn't hard nearby even with the weekend visitors.

The grilled cheese with bacon was dry tasty. They graciously added tomato for me as well. Iced green tea was a good size and I got two. The house salad was all fresh and I really appreciated the variety of veggies included (some places are cutting out too much). The prices are a little more than one might usually expect, but many places, especially locally owned like this one, need help making up for the last year and a half covid restrictions and closures. Not only am I happy to help, I have already fallen in love with this place.

First time here. Ordered the overloaded everything bagel with an egg added. Delish. Almost too much food and the prices are good. Service was great. I will definitely be returning.

Such a nice chill spot to stop and have coffee and a delicious bagel. The bagles here are more like sandwiches than bagels which is fine because again they're amazingly soft and cooked to perfection. Regardless of which bagel you go for you're guaranteed to be happy with the result and quite likely go back for seconds and then sit and chill for a while because it really is a very nice spot to sit and relax on a cool autumn morning.

A wonderful place to either start your day or take a break during the workday. Lots of space to meet friends or to enjoy a book while enjoying their great selection of delectables.

Delicious all around. I got the overloaded bagel, a blueberry danish, and espresso and it was all amazing! Great service and nice patio.

This really is a good place like people say. The sandwiches are good sized made with fresh ingredients, and they have a good variety of choices. Numerous bagel style sandwiches and they also have a lot of great fresh muffins, banana bread, and things like that. And the people are friendly, that's important to me.

What a great atmosphere this place has with a friendly and helpful staff! Had the very tasty Overloaded Bagel and a cup of the Heart of Darkness coffee. I liked that coffee so much that I bought a pound to take home! The bagel sandwich was much larger than I anticipated and made for a great brunch meal. Was my first time here and it will not be my last when I'm in this area again.

Such an amazing coffee shop! Their chai latte and apricot mango scone are so good! Maple pecan scone deserves a shout out too! Definitely worth stopping in :)

Went in to buy some ground coffee to brew at home and the owner made me 3 pour over samples to get a feel for the different styles of coffee he had available for purchase. Besides having an excellent selection of coffee and tea for purchase, Baked & Brewed is a wonderful old world styled coffee shop! Plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying a good cuppa. They have a fine selection of pastries and assorted savory treats. So glad I stumbled upon this place!

We didn't want to wait for Awful Annie's so we came into town.

I enjoyed a delicious fully loaded bagel while my honey had the Renee. Everything was fresh and delicious. The team was great and very accommodating.

Total bill for tea, smoothie and bagels was under $15.00. You can't beat that. Highly recommend

The best bagels I have ever had. Try the cheese bagel! And a delicious banana bread. Everything is so fresh and well cooked or baked, plus very nice attention to the customer. There is covered outside seating, if you have a doggie.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! The hot jack bagel is incredible if you like it spicy!

This little café in downtown Auburn was cute. They offer a variety of food and drinks. The vibe was perfect and they offered indoor and outdoor seating.

I loved the huge fancy spinach salad with tuna, walnuts, dried cranberries, etc. COVID19-safe outdoor dining was comfortable for winter lunch - don't know if they have patio heaters for colder times.

The 7 choice salad is amazing. Coffee is good and the pastries are beautiful plus tasty. Very tempting to see while ordering my salad nearby. Service is supreme. Even when there's a crowd the service is fast. Comfortable seating inside or out. Enjoyable art displayed.

The menu is partly local contribution from a bagel contest, it's quirky, the owners are so extremely friendly and genuine. I absolutely love this place, it's a must on my list from now on if I'm ever in the area. The food and drinks are delicious and you can easily customize.

I didn't realize something I ordered had cheese on it and when I went to order something different the owner made something else compmetely free!

Don't miss it, great atmosphere and outside seating, vegan options.
